  1. I would like to see paddle sprots added as a workout type. This workout type would be able to cover

    Outrigger Paddling
    Standup paddleboard
    K1
    C1
    Kayaking
    Canoeing
    Dragon Boat
    Whitewater Rafting
    Surf Ski
    Paddleboarding

    Training Peaks is used for more than Bike, Run, Swim. I heard a podcast with Dirk Friel recently and he stated "Other" was the largest growing sport sector currently. Adding a general "Paddle Sport" would allow you to enable a lot of functionality across all of the sport types I listed making TrainingPeaks great for water endurance sports.

  2. I scrolled through the feedback and ideas of others, and it looks like you are making great efforts to make changes, so thank you TrainingPeaks Team!

    If you have not already, I suggest looking at the App, Strong. They have a really great format, but I'd rather use TrainingPeaks because it's nice having both my cardio and strength workouts in one area. The new Strength app from TP is very good! For me to really love it and not want to supplement elsewhere, here is what I think could be useful.

  3. Love the new strength training interface. Is there a way that the new strength training feature can pull up old history of weights used in past workouts? That would be a helpful feature for clients to see what they did last sessions with the same exercise

  4. Currently once you start a workout which has been created in the new strength workout builder, you cannot alter some of the key parameters (e.g. adding sets, merging to create supersets, etc). This kind of functionality is so useful (and is built into the free versions of apps like 'Strength Log'). It would be great to have this available as part of the TP version.

    Also not sure why you can only create the workout on the desktop app, and then only execute it on the mobile app?

  6. It would be nice to have a 'Warm-Up Library' where you can add your own different kind of WU's: (repeated)sprints, progressive efforts, high cadence spin ups, torque efforts. To then access these in the workout builder, to drag them for a workout. Would be time-efficient, and a good way to differentiate more in WU.

  7. Ability to have uploaded strength workouts auto sync with the new strength programming sessions programmed for athletes in their programs as currently it keeps them separated and cannot lync/sync them together to be completed unless you check off each and every exercise.

  8. When you hover over metrics and move the cursor, the metrics that pop up do not go away and it is irritating as you need to refresh to get it away. Please fix this issue.

  9. Is there anything on the road map where as coaches we would be able to programme strength based movements from an athletes 1RM. My understanding and chatting to one of the sales directors is that the current limitations are reps sets and RPE. But it would be really useful to add a % of their 1RM aligned to the type of strength training.

    Seeing as %'s of thresholds and zone training can already be done, is this something that will be coming for strength training?

  10. Programming a structured swim workout from TP in Garmin is far from useful.

    • It does not allow Drill workouts to be done. There should be an option to allow at the end of a set to add the programmed distance of that set.

    • Rest times do NOT exist, the only option is to set a rest time but it counts the distance.

    • The notes or name of the series are not synchronized. So you must, remember each step.

  11. workout planning system. It would be extremely beneficial to have the ability to:

    • Copy and paste specific workout sections within the same workout plan for easy replication of similar training blocks
    • Save specific workout sections as templates for future use in new workout plans
    • Create a library of saved workout templates that can be easily accessed and inserted into new programs

    This functionality would significantly streamline the workout planning process and save time when creating new training programs that share similar elements.

  12. For example,

    • a kind of diary/annual plan, in which the workouts are less detailed but especially the detailed supplementation schedule can be added to certain periods, where altitude training can be planned, where medical reports/check-ups or physio screenings can be uploaded...
      Ideally, this would then have an output function/reference/link to the detailed workout schedule.

    • An overview of all the 'team members' with a brief summary on past training load, injuries, HRV/RHR, their next race goal... could be interesting as well.

    • Having a possibility to chat with other coaches, nutritionists, doctors through different accounts about a certain shared athlete will be…

  13. To prescribe strength workouts using RPE, you have to enter these details in the coaching comments section...this is a laborious and inflexible solution to programming strength workouts using RPE (like the endurance workout builder allows).

    My suggestion is to include RPE as a parameter in building strength workouts. This would vastly improve each workout's flexibility, precision, and presentation.

  14. The new strength builder is great; however, I'm limited to exercises utilizing the existing "movement + video + parameters" format. Oftentimes, I like to have athletes finish a strength session with some sort of circuit (AMRAP, EMOM, etc etc). In the past, I'd just use text to explain this to them but I'm finding that the new builder doesn't allow for me to build a simple text box into the session. Having that as an option would be HUGE.

  17. The bulk recalculate TSS should have a feature to choose hrTSS vs TSS. Currently, if I change my pace swim threshold, it defaults all swims to hrTSS. This means I have to go back manually through each swim and change it to sTSS.

  20. I think there should be another variation to the "Coaches" role.
    For example, I have my personal Coach in my account, and my account is linked to that coach's account- that's how I get my premium subscription.
    My coach has, and should have, special "permissions" that other added "coaches" should not have.
    For example: if a team askes me to "add them to my TrainingPeaks", I don't necessarily want them to have the power to change my workouts, my data, add comments or sometimes even see my comments back to my coach.
    My comments are my main form of communication…
