Browser in the trainin plan builder
Good morning.
It would be very helpful to include a search function for weeks/days and sessions in the training plan builder.
It's quite tedious to constantly scrolling down through weeks when you're reviewing and/or using existing plans to copy them for an athlete.
Thanks.
David.

Planned vs. actual in the laps to be exported
Using 360, Analyze, Laps -When your analysis tool detects intervals in a workout, it would be great if those detected intervals that auto-populate the fields (power and/or heart rate) - also had planned - for comparion- similar to what you have in the overlay graph.
It would also help to be able to export that table (detected intervals plus planned power/HR) to Excel, so coaches can revie

Create pace based workouts as a percentage of custom zones rather than just threshold pace
I'm currently using John J Davis' excellent book Marathon Excellence for Everyone for my training plans. However, he uses percent of 5K pace and percent of marathon pace extensively in all of his plans.
I can easily enough create those custom pace zones (for example, my 5k pace is 4:24/km, and my marathon pace is 4:56/km). However, if I want to create a workout at 85% of 5k pace, I have to manually tweak the percent of threshold pace until I get to the right value, rather than just choosing my 5k pace as the baseline, and then selecting 85%.

Add laptime on 400m runningtrack
As a running and triatlon coach I work a lot on the 400 meter running track. All my trainings on the track are based on that distance, including 300-200 -100 meter running. It would be very helpful if TP would automatically calculate the running time on these distances. Even better if it would be able to calculate split times as well.

AI assistant coach
Is it possible to create an AI coach assist on top of the functionalities you already have, so we have an AI model that take all data into consideration and make a recommended "new" plan including trainings from our own workout library?
Or even better also a AI assistent coach that can create new workouts based on training history for each athlete.
Both questions above would help us coaches to be more in interaction with our athletes in person, and I can see a lot of athletes "just" create their own plans with ChatGPT or similar. (And Tridot is already…3 votes -
Add critical power as a standard for determining metabolic training zones, just as already exists for FTP.
Adopting Critical Power as the standard for defining metabolic zones is justified by its superiority in delineating the true boundary between physiological equilibrium and fatigue accumulation, the mathematical robustness provided by the W' parameter, and greater test stability compared to the traditional 20-minute protocol. Far from rendering FTP obsolete, this standardization incorporates it as a derived reference, enabling training that is more precise, individualized, and scientifically aligned with current models of fatigue and performance.

Event/Race Calendar - multiple athlete overlay
Event Calendar
A feature that would be really helpful for coaches would be an Event Calendar view. The ability to view upcoming races/events across multiple athletes on a single calendar, with the option to overlay selected athletes, would make it much easier to track race schedules, plan training blocks, and identify athletes targeting similar events. This could be especially useful for managing group communication, race-specific content, camps, and shared preparation for key races throughout the season.
I think this would add real value for coaches managing multiple athletes.

Pair Planned Strength Workouts with Garming Strength Workouts
It's terrible that strength workouts from garmin cannot be synced with the new strength tool. I understand there are probably data limitations but without syncing it's double counting the workout and losing data if I delete one or the other. I'm going to just go back to logging my reps in a separate app but it would be nice if I could integrate all here in TP.

Have a Notes History for Strength Movements.
I have a lot of clients that use the notes on their strength portion of the app. However, they have asked if possible to have a notes for each exercise, and be able to access that via history. The example is if they needed to use a red band for an exercise, there's no real great way to annotate that and be able to search that for next time. Or if they had to modify an exercise, it'd be nice to have a notes section next to the exercise, and the history, so they can see what they did the…

Feature Request: Metric Default in Strength Workout Builder
Problem
Currently, the Strength Workout Builder defaults to imperial units (lb), even when:
The user’s account settings are set to metric
The endurance side of TrainingPeaks correctly operates in metricWhile it is possible to manually change units within individual exercises or workouts, this is not persistent and must be repeated each time.
This creates a system-level inconsistency and repetitive manual overhead.
Why This Matters (Practical Impact)
For coaches operating in metric regions (Australia, UK, EU):
Requires manual unit switching for every workout or exercise
Introduces unnecessary cognitive load (constant kg ↔ lb awareness)
Increases risk of programming errors

chaussures
Bonjour,

Set workout "unit" per block not workout
When putting together a workout such as an interval run, I want to be able to chase the hard intervals, which have a specific pace target or range, with an RPE based recovery.
This would also be applicable for warm ups and cool downs for which I don't want to commit to a fixed pace weeks or months in advance3 votes -

Open API or MCP access for coaches
The tech world is moving at a rapid pace right now and the way we interact with our computers is changing.
As a coach with a lot of clients the process of using the web front end to add workouts is time consuming and inefficient. It's easier than ever for us to customise ways of creating and uploading training plans and comments but to do this we need proper open API access or an MCP server. This is coming to everything and TrainingPeaks should get ahead of the game.
Continuing to maintain a very closed shop here will start to…
