  1. Since Training Peaks is used by multiple endurance sports other than run, bike, and swim, I would love to see a way to map my sport to "Custom"

    I would imagine it working like this....
    1. In settings allow the user to rename custom sport to whatever they would like to call it
    2. Create a way for it to be mapped form the various devices. For example - my sport is standup, so i would map all activites that came over from my grmin device with the activity set to "Standup Paddleboarding" to always be set to custom when…

  2. Have an option that if an athlete walks away or just disconnects from a coach the last 3-6 months' worth of programming gets deleted too? Not the data so what they did would still be there but the workouts that the coaches have spent time creating. So easy for someone to just leave and then go to another coach who potentially has access to all your workouts. On the flip side of that if a coach removes an athlete then there is the option for these to be deleted or not.
    As coaches, we spend a good bit of money…

  3. Upload a CSV File with all of the fields required for a running structured workout. I believe this should be quite simple and most of the people whom I've worked with have things structured on Excel and therefore the conversion to CSV is straight forward provide ease for the user and giving the community the opportunity to provide more information and help the platform grow even faster.

  4. PROBLEM
    All workouts created using the Workout builder look the same. You cant tell if its Power, HR or RPE based.

    SOLUTION:
    on the calendar, a workout will have a small icon showing if its based on Power, HR or RPE at a glace!

    If you build a:
    Bike workout based on Heart Rate - a 'Red Heart' will show
    Bike workout based on Power - a 'Lightning bolt' will show
    Bike workout based on RPE - a 'RPE chart' will show

    WHY?

  5. I think that there is a need for many coaches when we have to program trail runing sessions. Nowadays we can program with time or distance, but running in the mountains implies take into acsount the slope.
    It's important introduce programming with slope and maximum climb speed.

  7. Requesting for the maximum distance to filter swim workouts by be increased to a substantially longer distance than 5000 meters or yards (i.e. 20,000 yards) as I have many swim workouts stored in my workout library that are longer than 5k, and when I want to filter and sort my swim workouts, anything longer than 5000 yds does not appear. I even noticed recently that when searching for a 9000 yard workout I have saved in my library, even if I toggle on the "swim" filter and no other distance/time limiting filter, I am still not able to see the…

  8. As a coach, I would like to see a status column in the list of my athletes to visually categorize them and be able to change this status. For example:

    1. Athletes with a fully written plan
    2. Athletes needing plan adjustments and monitoring
    3. Athletes with no plan written

    Other status options are also possible. I just need statuses for the athletes.

  9. I am a triathlete and my understanding (and experience) is that I recover quicker from swimming than biking and quicker from biking than running. Should (and can) this be built into the form and fitness recovery algorithm over time so that my Form score for swimming recovers quicker from the same TSS as that of a run allowing me to get back in the pool sooner?

  10. Please add Garmin Sleep Score to the list of available calendar metrics and sync Garmin Sleep Quality with the existing TP Sleep Quality metric. The domain of values does not align, and Garmin Sleep Quality does not update the TP Sleep Quality metric.

Hello, in the arabian world we start our week in Saturday however, in training peaks app/site we don't have that option only sunday&monday, however, in garmin connect we can start our week with Saturday and this is the number one reason for us as arabian coaches / atheletes why we dont use training peaks.

    An engineering spike/estimate has been done on this update. There are dependencies that make the effort larger, but we do plan to prioritize this in the future. We have been working through the top requests here in Uservoice and this is absolutely one of the top ones. 

  12. In Workout builder currently power can only be expressed as a percentage (%) of some key metrics (e.g. LTHR). However for some key testing sessions, like ramp tests Absolute values need to be entered. Garmin workout builder already does this. It would be useful in TP too to enable structured tests to be used.

  13. An easy way to periodise consecutive strength workouts rather than having to go into each workout and adjust. Being able to have the same workout scheduled say 4 - 8 weeks in a row, but being able to edit in one screen to periodise each of those workouts over that time instead of going into each and every workout and editing to periodise which is time consuming.

  16. I would like designate specific daily activities that auto-import from Garmin Connect (Meditation for instance) to come in with a TSS of 0. Perhaps this could be done by adding a workout that is set to ignore TSS/IF?

  17. Utilize multiple units for workouts. Currently you can only use one unit; pace, power, heart rate, RPE. Utilizing multiple units would enable a coach to get more creative with workouts.

  18. In the workout builder, while building a workout, clicking cadence automatically adds a cadence range that I DONT WANT and have to constantly change.

    Please create in our settings some default preferences for the workout builder including default cadence.

    The expectation when I have set my default cadence in settings is that when I now create a new workout and click 'cadence' my preference of 90 is set. (for example).

  19. I have both a Garmin and an Apple Watch (as do athletes that I coach). I feel that the health metrics from the AppleWatch are richer than they are on Garmin. I've been sending mine to TrainingPeaks via HealthFit and it's generally working out pretty well. The only thing I don't really love is the data isn't aggregated to one daily metric per day. I'd HRV, Pulse for one, SPO2 for another Weight for another (and then I go combine into 1 EVERY DAY.

    Native support would make this process much easier.

  20. When I assign a plan to a client it would be very helpful if the assigned sessions were hidden by default on their calendars. When I assign a plan I usually go to each assignee's calendar and Hide all sessions, only un-hiding the ones I want week by week. When I assign a plan to a client who is peaking fro a second event, under the current system, all older sessions are allocated and show up in red on their calendars often causing them stress.
