  1. It would be great to have the option to not have a "planned pace" auto filled when using a workout from the structured workout builder. It time consuming to have to manually delete planned pace from each workout that I drag and drop onto a calendar. Sometimes they repopulate after I delete them. Also, they are wildly inaccurate for what each athlete typically runs. For example, an athlete that runs Zone 1 in around 8:30-9 min/mile it gives a "planned pace" of about 12 min/mile. This is very unhelpful, particularly for trail and ultra trail runners.

  2. As a coach would it be very useful to get the ability back, to set training zones for customers and also use own programming of training zones. That doesn´t mean to take this ability away from customers, but my experience is that 90% are very happy if i would programm all the stuff.

  3. It would be awesome, especially for endurance athletes, to be able to add tempo to strength workouts. Adding a comment is an easy enough work around, but it would still be a cool feature.

  4. When selecting the 'Filter by' option, allow coaches to type in the duration/distance/tss instead of just using the slide bars. Sometimes the slide bars are too close together and it makes it impossible to re-adjust them.

Also add a 'reset' button that would clear all of the filters.

  5. enable the importing of macro information from Macrosfirst nutrition app. They are eager to integrate with you and essentially ready to connect. It's a better app than MFP, imo.

  6. Please allow specifying a rep range for strength workout exercises, not just a target rep. The New Strength Builder is a great step in the right direction to fully-functional programming of strength workouts in TrainingPeaks, but it is still missing critical features like this.

Being able to specify the rep range is important for communicating and adhering to the workout plan. For example, if the coach programs 4 reps with the mindset of "at least 4" and the athlete executes 3 because it is "about 4", this is quite different than if the coach programs 15 reps intending a range…

  7. It would be nice to have a 'Warm-Up Library' where you can add your own different kind of WU's: (repeated)sprints, progressive efforts, high cadence spin ups, torque efforts. To then access these in the workout builder, to drag them for a workout. Would be time-efficient, and a good way to differentiate more in WU.

  8. Sometimes I have more time in the cave than expected. So I would like to have the ability to enlarge workout by defined times like "+1min", "+10min". And it adds up time to the workout step, depending on how often I push the desired button.
It's a pain to rewind the desired step for several times.

  9. As mentioned, sometimes it would be useful if you could just increase/decrease the intensity of a single workout step and every step afterwards jumps back to the 100%.

  11. When an Athlet leaves your coaching after years. How can I keep his trainings in store ? To not loose my ideas for Training from the past in order to recap it in the future? I can save and retain about a year of coaching.

Find a way to retain athlets trainingplans from the past for more than a year, but i would like to save the whole training period.

  12. The new strength builder is great; however, I'm limited to exercises utilizing the existing "movement + video + parameters" format. Oftentimes, I like to have athletes finish a strength session with some sort of circuit (AMRAP, EMOM, etc etc). In the past, I'd just use text to explain this to them but I'm finding that the new builder doesn't allow for me to build a simple text box into the session. Having that as an option would be HUGE.

  14. when building a cycling workout using the workout builder in training peaks the power is always entered as a % of ftp. as I always think in terms of watts it would be very helpful if the workout builder would show me the power in watts as well. I'd like to enter the % of ftp as usual and be shown what wattage that equates to (based on currently entered ftp) somewhere on the screen. clearly the wattage will change if I get a new ftp but it would be helpful whilst I'm building/editing a workout. many thanks.

  15. Ability to program strength workouts with Reps in Reserve as a parameter. RIR is much more useful than reps or RPE to control for intensity within strength workouts.

  16. This is a basic UI issue.
When I scroll the Laps and Splits grid to select a lap that is not visible in the initial page display, the row for that lap is highlighted and the grid scrolls to the top.
As a result, the Lap I've selected is no longer visible and I have to scroll again to select the next lap.
Please stop the grid from redrawing or, if that's not possible, re-select the selected Lap after the grid redraws.

  17. The workout info in the "Analyze" page occupies about ⅓ of the vertical space. The information about the workout can be moved to the top row, along with the details of the workout. The Files, Charts, and Summary buttons can be relocated.
Alternatively, push all of that info into the upper right corner of the page which is dead space in the current design.
These changes will provide additional space for the analysis. At the moment, ⅓ of that page is of limited or no value.

  18. I would like to be able to see some graphics when creating a dynamic plan that includes: duration per day/week, distance per day/week, elevation gain per day/week, and longer workouts (duration and distance) so I can visually and fluidly monitor the workload for the coming weeks with my group athletes.

  19. When creating a new exercises on the new strength workout builder, it’d be very helpful and easier to just be able to upload a photo, instead of a Vimeo or YouTube link. Creative drills won’t be found on YouTube.
