Unit preference metric/imperial set based on activity
When I swim, I swim in metric so 25m pool or 2500m in open water. However, when I cycle or run, I do it in miles. Unfortunately there is only 1 unit preference setting in Training Peaks which makes it a pain as I cannot figure out how well I'm doing for my lap swims or my open water swims. I tried to manually update the distance on the swim workout to meters but the pace still shows in yards. Strength Training Workout Recorded on Apple Watch Flows as "Other" in TrainingPeaks
Traditional Strength Training recorded on an Apple Watch flows to TrainingPeaks as "others," which requires me to manually update the workout to Strength for my athletes (more are using the Apple Watch now). This seems to be a rather quick fix to make. Would it be possible for the TrainingPeaks Product team to look into it and get a fix?

New Pricing Tier
I really like training peaks, but after years of paying $120 a year for features I wasn't using I decided to stop and switch to Garmin connect. I did this because Garmin connect let me plan out in the future (poorly). I recently switched back because training peaks is more detailed, but I am stuck using the free version I want to pay some features and I feel like the $50-60 is the sweet spot. I am looking for just a few capabilities. 1) planning 2) create workouts. That's really it. Some basic metrics would be a plus.

Add "Average" to metrics "Overall Feeling" and "Motivation" so you don't have to choose "Below Average" or "Above Average"
Please add "Average" to metrics "Overall Feeling" and "Motivation" so you don't have to choose between "Below Average" and "Above Average".
My coach was asking me why I feel "below average" since a long time. I answered there is no possibility to choose "Average", only possibility to choose "Above Average" but I don't feel "Above Average" because I feel "Average".

calendar monday
I am constantly a bit confused looking at the TP calendar because of the Monday starts. I have to shift it mentally when comparing to my work & personal calendars.
It's fine if some people prefer to start their view on Monday, but would you please add a setting so others can revert to a more traditional Sunday through Saturday view?

% aerobic threshold next % anaerobic threshold in workout builder
Hi colleges, I have a lot of work-outs in my library. Next tot strength & conditioning I also do CPET exercise testing (Cardio Pulmonary Exercise Testing). From that the athletes get training zones built on / derived from FTP/anaerobic threshold (VT2), but also from aerobic threshold/Fatmax (VT1). In the work-out in TrainingPeaks the 'units' are always % of anaerobic threshold or % of heart rate max. However, when I want my clients to do a warm up in zone 1, or a cooling down in the recovery zone (or a recovery phase during interval sessions), this can only be seen…

Open Water Swim Structured Workouts
Since TrainingPeaks doesn't differentiate between open water and pool swims most devices including Garmin watches, only support importing structured workouts from TP in Pool swim mode. Seems to me we are missing a trick as the pool environment is already structured! Set distances, pool clock etc., and many swimmers (and coaches) prefer not to use a watch in the pool. However, when we go out outside, we lose the wall clock and the lap lengths. To avoid the common trap of falling into “mono-speed” swimming we still need to provide structure. Availability
Better options for Availability. Example, selecting reoccurring days off per week or month. For instance, if there are training programs in place, it auto populates for all the days. Now if there is an option to block off dates we can’t work out, then the training day automatically moves to next available day. Check out Hal Higdon’s running app, the calendar lets you choose workout days.

Trash functionality for easily restoring accidently deleted workouts
If workouts are accidently deleted there should be a trash functionality to be able to restore those workouts.
This might happen if you synch your training plan to your sportswatch and you want to do today`s acutal training session later and just go for a little commute or something else.Is anyone else struggling with this?

Rowing split times algoritm
The translation from rowing wattage to split times (time:500m) is not correct at TP. Due there is a easy formula at concept 2. Is it possible to adjust this?

Sharing training plans/ workout library in bulk with associated coaches
Within a coaching company where they have multiple coaches and share multiple training plans with athletes, it would be great to be able to share all training plans and possibly even workout libraries automatically with associated coaches. I know you can manually share each individual plan but could much smoother when controlled from the 'head account' and turned on or off for coaches who would need the plans and/or workout libraries.

Dividing a single workout into 1 km splits
Why is not possibile to have a table/chart with 1 km/1 mile splits if the athlete registered without "auto-lap". This function would be useful ad there is in all other software. Please add it, I can't do you manually (for example for a marathon I see only 1 single split but I want to see 42 splits even if the athletes does not use a auto-lap)

Adjust elevation calculation
Elevation calculations are consistently way too high. I use a device without a barometric altimeter, and Training Peaks always calculates the elevation for my workouts. These calculated elevations are way too high: often twice what they should be. This is frustrating as it makes the data in the app far less useful.

Daily/Weekly micro goals or tasks
Feature request: Add simple, non-metric based, task option. These would be items that the athlete should do those days, but that don't have a specific metric associated with them like HR, time, etc. Examples: "Take an Ice Bath", "Stretch", "Get bike fit", "get new shoes", whatever it may be. It could be simply marked as a check box when completed. This would allow for simple, at-a-glance action items for athletes or coaches.

Colour coded training plans
Please let athletes assign different colours to active training plans that they have purchased.
I have purchased, and have on my calendar, both road and MTB cycling plans. I use/complete some of each, however, can’t at a glance tell which is which. It would be great to be able to assign a colour to the plan and then see, in my calendar, which plan is for which program.7 votes
