UI/UX: Powertoys keyboard remapping
I'm using the Powertoys keyboard remapping to remap keys from a Bluetooth music controller, to control direction, virtual gears, workout steps.
However, TPVirtual is overriding that config and using the keys from it's original mapping. Previously this was working with indieVelo. Is it possible to check on this?

UI/UX: Name courses instead of 'Custom Route'
Instead of naming routes that don't finish exactly on a single route end or number of laps Custom Route, please name the route. Say Named Route x 8.7 laps, or Named Route x AAkm would allow us to look back and see past finish times when considering races. Also allow/make it easy for routes not finishing exactly to transfer to the virtual hub website. At present there is a lot of ????? when trying to see a route and the custom length profile does not show.

EVENTS: Team points distribution (weighting of points awarded to team members)
In all team type races when creating an event it should be possible to define a list of "Factors to be multiplied by the points awarded at each location for each rider-position on a team".
Example #1:
You want the position of rider 4 on a team to be the one that counts in a team race.
Points awarded at each location = 250, 240, 230, 220, 210, 200, 190, ... etc.
Max Team Size = 8
Counting Riders = 6
List of weighting factors to be defined = "0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0"

WORKOUTS: Remaining time above white line moving across workout segment.
The TACX app posted the remaining time for a segment in a structured workout that is created and linked from TrainingPeaks. However, a few months ago, Garmin decided not to continue using the TACX app, and are now doing structured workouts in their Garmin App. Now, you can only see the completed segment turn gray once completed.
I've suggested to Garmin to provide that "remaining time" feature in the workout segment. But, they are not interested apparently.
I do like the way TP Virtual provides an analog change of color and a white line moving across the structured workout segment.…

PAIRING: Power incorrect
Hi, when i'm pushing my comfortable pace 200W it feels more like 240W. I cannot get in the Large cog without cross chaining on the rear to make it feel right either. Any other people having this issue?

Scenery
Not so much a new idea but an evolution of existing. The 'cruiseliners' seem wrong to me even unrealistic and they block the view. They are too close to the shore ... unless they've actually run aground. How do the passengers get ashore? either a wharf or maybe some shore landing feature with smaller boats tied up ... and anyway is there really enough for them to do and see when they're here?
Perhaps some more modest expedition cruisers might fit better.Georgetown and the other 'villages' seem abandoned and do not have a cohesive style, these need to be…

Be able to set a range for bots joining events (especially races)
I want to be able to create an event with bots, but bots should be "fillers for the less strong riders" and should not disturb the "top human racers".
E.g : 40 humans join. 20 are very strong and the other 20 are not able to follow the strongest ones, and are likely to be dispersed.I don't want the weaker racers to be doing a "Time Trial" race on their own, so I want to add bots, but those bots should not be so strong that they'd interfer with the top racers (bridging human groups, etc)
It would be…

Crash report
2 crashes during one session. I was doing a structured training session by a 3rd party
Ideally if a crash occurs I would like an option to resume the previous ride
TPV has been pretty flawless up until now.

FITFILES: Record HRV/ RR Intervals
Record HRV/ RR Intervals from a Heart Rate Monitor in the fit files for use by training apps. AI Endurance, Humango, Athletica.ai, spoked.ai, runalyze, golden cheetah all use HRV data. AI Endurance, Runalyze, HRV Logger, Golden Cheeetah, and FatMaxxer do analyze the RR intervals stored in the fit file.

Strava Connection Issues
I know that it is possible to connect TP Virtual to Strava, but despite numerous attempts to do so, it just doesn't seem to be working.
When following the guide to connect the accounts, I select strava and then receive a 'scanning' message underneath the strava icon on TPv. This doesn't seem to change or progress, despite lengthy waits, and I wonder if this is an issue others have experienced?
I'm using TPv on IOS 18.5 on iPhone 16e.
Has anyone else experienced the same issue? Any suggestions to resolve this?

Better listing / advertising of events.
Have a 24hr "Master Schedule" of all repeating platform events.
Have a tab under the events section for all current / upcoming race series where multiple stages contribute to an overall GC.
Have better advertising for big events.

PAIRING: External Camera to determine rider position for CdA
Using external cameras (like webcams) and machine learning to determine the rider's actual riding position (on the drops, hoods, top, standing, seated, etc.) to change the virtual avatar riding position and also their CdA.

PAIRING: Use Garmin Watch to change virtual gears
Allow a Garmin device to change virtual gears. This allows a cheaper single speed trainer setup or use of an old worn cassette that has one gear still useable

UI/UX: New UI Color Gradient
I wanted to share some feedback on the recent update to the user interface. Overall, I really appreciate the improvements—especially the layout and usability enhancements. The new design feels modern and intuitive.
However, I’ve noticed that the new color gradient, which transitions from pink to blue, tends to make my screen appear out of focus and is somewhat distracting during use. The original plain blue background was much easier on the eyes and helped maintain visual clarity.
I’d like to suggest considering a return to a plain blue background, perhaps with a touch of transparency or a frosted glass effect.…

PAIRING: TP Virtual on iOS not requesting control
I'm using TP Virtual with a custom FTMS device (which works fine with Zwift and Trainerroad) but it seems like TP Virtual is not requesting control and setting the target power as it should when I launch an ERG workout. I don't get any incoming commands on the Control Point char. If I then force a disconnect from my FTMS-device side, so that TP Virtual reconnects when already in the workout it starts by requesting control and then everything works fine.
Could you check if there's something in the logic when connecting that could cause it to never request control?

UI/UX: Tactical position turn indicator
Add a visual return when pushing on an arrow to turn left or right for tactical position. Only seen for the rider playing not others.
What the raison ? When using tactical position the avatar move slowly and it looks like the fonction doesn't work. So making an avatar bending a little and moving faster to it's position maybe with an indicator arrow should be interesting.2 votes -
UI/UX: Improve AppleTV virtual gear control
Please map the AppleTV remotes +/- buttons to increase / decrease power (in ERG or cruise control) and increase / decrease virtual gear (all other modes). This would be an incredibly useful shortcut. Reasons why all other solutions are not meeting my demand:
- Navigating the Menu to increase / decrease difficulty is very cumbersome and takes time, also when doing it with the virtual remote of TPvirtual Hub
- adding game controllers is not possible on AppleTV as no USB port is available and only two Bluetooth connections can be made which are needed for the trainer, power meter…2 votes -
UI/UX: W-prime "Battery" Gauge
W prime meter in the GUI.
Just thinking out loud, any time spent above my CP (Watts x Time =Joules) that could be subtracted from my W-prime (KJ or Joules), and be shown like a battery percentage of how much W-prime I have left.
This would be great for learning how to manage your efforts. I image this would be similar to a Normalized Power when using FTP. BUt I would find a "battery percentage" of W-prime more accurate of what I could do in a race and easier to understand.

MECHANICS: Ride duration should stop immediately after ending ride
when you press END ride and confirm, the TPV apps shows you the 'recap' of the session (and the from-to screen of the metrics), then you need to confirm that and again press END ride to upload it. But the timer is continuing and a few times I didn't go through the whole 'End ride' sequence, finding a workout for 2-3 hours with 0 power in TP
