Ability to upload externally generated structured workout files.
It would be very convenient to have the ability to upload a structured workout file into TrainingPeaks. I prefer to build my workouts with my own tool and export them in the format I desire (like TrainerRoad .mrc format or Zwift .zwo format). Being able to upload them to TrainingPeaks will help me keep track of the different workouts I've created. I don't think this would be a difficult task to implement since the common workout file formats have standard syntax that is easily parsed. And TrainingPeaks already provides the option to download workouts as these different file formats so…

Triathlon & Multisport handling
Could we have a better way of handling multi-sport events/workouts? I use a Garmin Forerunner 610. It goes under my hat in a ziploc bag when swimming, then stays on my wrist while riding and running. So at the end of a race there's a single file with swim, T1, ride, T2 & run in it.
It's possible to upload the file, duplicate the workout several times, then cut out the relevant portions by finding the point on the map where each transition starts/finishes. But it's a painful process and getting it wrong often means starting again.
If there were…

Add log-in session time-out as a user configurable option
I use training peaks several times per day and find that I've normally been logged out as a result of the session time-out and need to log in again, reloading the app and returning to my default calendar view.
I'd like the option to configure this inactivity timeout value e.g. 30 mins, 24 hours, never. Many thanks.
22 votesThe new Beta HTML5 app has a “non expiring” sign-in cookie, so you can return to the app even after many days of non usage and be signed in automatically. Currently, you can also directly access the Beta by bookmarking “app.trainingpeaks.com”

Add a scroll bar
When there are more workouts in a given day than what can be shown in a 1 week calendar view, there should be a scroll bar that appears (as there is when completing this comment field). Currently, you can click on 'more' but nothing changes. Without altering my current view of my workouts, there is no way for me to see the later workouts.
22 votesthis is standard in the new Beta interface.

Add Map feature to WKO+
Having the map feature in WKO (like in online TP) would be huge--would dramatically simplify the process of identifying specific segments on cycling routes

Workout Code Sorting
Include workout code sorting that was in prior versions. Difficult to find workouts with large libraries and reimplementing the workout code makes it easier.

Provide Amazon-style user rating system for training plans
Develop a system to allow users to rate the quality and effectiveness of training plans that they purchase on TP. It may even be possible to contract with Amazon to sell the plans through their system, thereby allowing better accounting and customer feedback.
22 votesA rating system is on our wish list for the Training Plan store. This would help athletes make informed purchases. However, selling plans through a 3rd party is not on our list at this time.
Athlete’s whom recently completed their training plans will now receive an email asking them to rate the plan. As soon as we receive enough ratings to provide meaningful data, you’ll see the results posted on our training plan store!

A filing system for athletes (as well as filters)
What would be very helpful on top of the filters (which I presume will come) is a filing system, similar the the tab there for “my assistants” . If we could drag clients into a file by group, it would make looking at the alphabetic list of clients feel less random! You could then group clients on a particular level of plan together, or groups on a dynamic plan out of the way of the real paying clients!
21 votesWe recently released the new Athlete Groups in the web-app. There is more to come, like better sorting and filtering. We also plan on adding Athlete Groups to the mobile apps too.

Mobile app calculate %FTP
As a coach, the workouts I design using %FTP automatically show the calculated power target on a web browser but not on the mobile app. This means my athletes have to calculate their power target "in the field" if they're using their phone. This is the single biggest complaint I receive from my athletes over and over. "I wish the mobile app would just calculate my power target like the web version". Adding this functionality would make the app a central part of the TP experience especially for younger athletes who rarely spend time on a computer.

Export workout plans onto training devices
Once a coach has planned your workouts, have device agent upload that/those workouts onto your training device. IE: Garmin has workout function so you can follow your workout on you ride!

Include a TSS based ATP view as opposed to Volume only
It would be great to add a TSS bar chart of the ATP, ideally with the ability to filter by sport.
20 votesThanks for your suggestion. We just released TSS based ATP. This first version is consolidated across sport types. We’re looking to enable TSS planning by sport type in the future.

Change Units of Workout Like Classic Already Does
What is the plan to be able to quickly change the units of a workout from statute to metric by just quickingly selecting the units, like what we can currently do on TP Classic.
Thanks,

Show planned TSS in charts (such as TSS per week)
Currently, planned TSS is not showed in charts such as TSS per week.
As TP is a planning tool, I think this is a must.It will help to see at a glance if the following weeks are hard or not and if there is any unusual behaviour in planned TSS.
This is possible with other metrics, sucha as planned duration or distance. Why not for TSS
19 votesWe’ve just released TSS based ATP so you can now plan and track your season with TSS.

Pre-activity comments do not carry over when copying workout. Classic TP did this. Can this be added back in?

Planned vs. actual in the PMC
I would like to see planned vs. actual in the PMC. One way to do this would be to overlay what period I was in -- Base 2-week 4, Build 1-week 1, etc. I find myself flipping back and forth from the PMC to the calendar to see why my lines are where they are. For planning purposes I would like to see a "Planned PMC" which takes as much data as it can get from the planned workouts and constructs the ATL, CTL and TSB lines. I think this would be useful in determining whether or not my training…

Add recurring workout functionality
I would like to add yoga and core/PT exercises to my calendar as a recurring activity. For instance, yoga every Tuesday and Thursday. I know we can copy and paste but the ability to add it once and have it be a recurring activity until a specified end date would be helpful.
