Correct TSS for combined swim/bike/run brick workouts.
Right now the TSS of the combine events is NOT the same as the TSS if entered separately. Often the distance is also not the correct total.

New Chart
I would like a chart where I can highlight segments of the ride and drag them down into a separate chart where it will link those together and give me all the data points on the cumulative group of segments I pull in. This way I can better look at the total time at intensity and display more clearly to that athlete what we are aiming for as we link together intervals or other meaningful segments.

pseudo-log time scale for extended PMC viewing
May I suggest a stepped reverse log scale for the time axis to display the PMC?
Daily for the most important last 28-60days,
Weekly for the preceding quarter,
Monthly for the preceding year
Quarterly back 5-6 years
Annual beyond that.
(Or something along those lines)
This gives us a way to look at where we are coming from, without sacrificing the detail of the recent history. Some if us have been w TP for many years and I certainly like like to look back, comparing my fitness progress to previous training bouts.
Wanna go teal fancy? Show a "magnifying glass"…
4 votesThere are features in WKO4 that will be able to help you solve this problem, but in a slightly different way. The pseudo-log like scale is interesting, it may only work with CTL we would need to test it out.

split work out
Is there a possibility to split (manually) run and bike times in training peaks after a duatlon
4 votesCurrently there is not a way to split a workout and create new workouts for each part, but there is a work around for what you are trying to accomplish. Upload the file twice, to two different workouts, and then edit each workout to only be the bike or run segment. This support page should help.

Keep dates in the training plan library, not just numbered days & weeks
Keep dates in the training plan library (how the classic version has it), not just numbered days & weeks.
9 votesThis change to in how training plans are edited was made based on user feedback. In the future we may go back to showing dates for plans with a forced end dates only.

References for Articles
References - I read the neat article on 4 New Mobile Features You Should Know About. It would be really helpful to have a list of suggested references to topics mentioned in the article on a sidebar. For example, in this article, I'd like to know more about how 'Form' should vary over an athlete's season, and what a coach/athlete should target for their numbers as they approach their priority race.
1 voteYou can expect a follow up blog post on Form and Ramp rates. We are working towards adding blog content to the mobile apps as well as better help pages. Thanks!

Left / right leg power split from Computrainer
Computrainer records left and right leg power, but this information is lost when the file is transferred to TrainingPeaks.
7 votesIf possible export the workout as a .FIT file and Left/Right power data will be read from the file.

Garmin Connect auto-uploading my swim workout with breaks
While garmin connect is auto-uploading my swim workout from my Forerunner 920XT, it only takes into account swim time without breaks. This makes TSS higher than it would with the braks naturally. Is there an option to change this or set up preference how the workout should be uploaded? I believe, when I uplad the workout file, it takes into account the whole workout with the breaks.
3 votesThis is currently working as designed and there are no immediate plans to change this. To workaround this you can enter the total time (not the moving time) in to the quick view and then delete the sTSS value. A new sTSS will be calculated based on the total time.

Have possibility to track general rest something like restwise.
It would be benefitial, to have ability to track general "rest" or "stress" levels, something like restwise has developped. I have been using restwise, but in the end, I have no time for multiple platforms. With already existing training stress levels, and automatic sleep tracking maybe comming to training peaks, the logical follow up would be to start tracking general rest/load level so you could see how it behaves over time.
3 votesWe currently support logging the Restwise metrics. There is not an automatic sync, but you can record them manually. The mobile apps allow you to overlay metrics on the PMC, which may be insightful. This page has a few more details.
http://help.trainingpeaks.com/hc/en-us/articles/204070184-Restwise-Pulse-OximeterThere are future plans to integrate with HealthKit to make some of the logging automatic.

Please add the ability to view weekly totals in the calendar view when holding your phone horizontally
11 votesSpace is at a premium in the calendar view, so we are consider other options. In the meantime, you can configure the date range of the dashboard Summary Report to be This Week, Last Week, or Next Week. That will show you the data that you are looking for.

Facility to overlay a 'generic' TP or even a specific coach driven training plan on the calendar
To provide a basic facility that can be chosen by 'joe public' to be either a generic TP training plan or a specific coach driven plan. based upon basic generic sport specific training plan. I would be able to select what I believe to be the most suitable plan for my need and then overlay that plan onto my personal athlete calendar. Eg: if I were to see a simple increase FTP training program I could select it and try and plan my days training accordingly and then maybe closer to, or during race season I could change to a…

email notifications
this was marked as resolved but that is not true. I'd like to receive email notifications of
1. my own post workout comments: I like to have a record of the complete conversation with my coach in my email
2. changes to workouts: I put all my workouts into my personal calendar at the beginning of the week, when my coach assigns them. Sometimes he changes them later on, so I would like to get a change notification.3 votes -
The paid accounts need to have a function in which I can create a training plan and save it in a personal library and then apply and reapply
The premium accounts need to have a function in which I can create a training plan, save it in a personal library, and then apply and reapply as needed. I run several of the same races every year and want to simply apply a plan. I know I can copy a week, but going week by week from a year ago to "today" is an unnecessary step in what should be a click and drop style solution.
8 votesThis is a feature available to coached. Currently there are no plans to add this functionality to an athlete account.

Please add labels to chart columns in the TrainingPeaks and mobile apps. This feature is industry standard in presenting data. Thank you!
Please add labels to chart columns in the TrainingPeaks web and mobile apps, both the data field of the column and the data itself. This is an industry standard feature and practice in presenting data effectively. It will make the charts much more visually useful. I realize that you can hover your mouse over each column and see the data, but we need to be able to see all this summary data in the chart. See attached mock up. Thank you!
5 votesThank you for the suggestion. Adding the labels to the Time in Zones charts works well, but we have a few charts that can show 52 or more columns, and that is where things start to breakdown. But this is something we will consider in the future.

I'm not sure how to incorporate this, but including sleep hours/quality into the TSS calculation would give a more accurate assessment of fatigue level and help guide training choices.
4 votesI think what you are looking for is a way to incorporate other factors in to the TSB calc, but then it would not be Training Stress Balance anymore. HRV is another metric that you may find useful as well. We plan to add HRV as a metric in the future. Currently you can plot sleep metrics on the PMC in our mobile apps. This blog post briefly touches on that:

Peak power graph colours need a re-do
My peak power graph in dashboard shows grey and purple in the legend (last 3 months versus last 2 years) but in the graph itself both lines are purple, one being darker than the other, with no grey in there at all.

Customize my intervals for the peak power chart.
I want to customize my intervals for the peak power chart. For example, the current display does not show peak power for 3 minute or 8 minute durations. Yet, in Training & Racing with a Power Meter by Allen and Coggan 3-8 minute intervals are described as the VO2Max zone. I'd like the same customization abilities in a new fatigue profile chart too.
2 votesWe do not have plans to allow custom durations for the Peaks calculation online. However, this is a feature of WKO which is what most of the examples in the TRPM book are based on. Fatigue profiling will a feature of WKO4.

Customize fitness history
Would be great if we can customize the intervals in TP Fitness History. Standard are 5sec, 1m, 5m, 20m, 60m. would be great to be able to add our own (i.e. 10m, 30m, etc)
2 votesWe do not have plans to allow custom durations for the Peaks calculation. However, this is a feature of WKO.

I am a disabled person and I use TrainingPeaks to just walk 1 or 2 miles a day
Just keep doing it the way it is. The program works fine for me.

This is not on our list of things to add to the mobile apps at this time, but that may change in the future. Thank you for the suggestion!
