  3. My peak power graph in dashboard shows grey and purple in the legend (last 3 months versus last 2 years) but in the graph itself both lines are purple, one being darker than the other, with no grey in there at all.

  4. Current metrics only work for endurance sessions and a really hard strength workout on the bike can give very low figures for TSS, IF and calories. This affects the graphs for CTL, ATL and make it more difficult to assess a race taper.

  5. Having used both apps side by side for weeks, I find MyNetDiary to be a cleaner faster UI than My Fitness Pal. I find the MND accuracy at least as good if not better than MFP. I find in fitness threads that MND has a userbase that is not being recognized, and many of these users want TP integration. I think overall almost every athlete at this point wishes for ONE platform that will capture any and all the metrics that athlete wants to measure and that all the athletes preferred vendors would just sync and share this information. I…

  6. Checking and fixing workout tags is a tiresome process on TP. Lamentably, many athletes forget or don't care about using the right sport-type profile on their head unit during workouts. I have a few suggestions:
    1) Move tags to the left area of the summary workout view. Long post-activity messages push them downwards, making it harder to remember to check them (see screenshot).
    2) Make them available on the Analyze view.
    3) Allow athletes' tags to be editable in their settings.

  8. I've been using the web app including calendar functionality for about 2 years now. This year I've been attempting to do something new with my training calendar, but I'm not certain if it is possible, or at least it didn't work as expected.

I have gathered several training plans over the years and use them over an over again. I know which days I prefer to train and which days I'm not available to train on or which days I want to keep training free. I set those days as "unavailable" in the calendar and imported the plans, but the…

Early this week FitnessSyncer released an update that allows for the syncing of additional Withings data to TrainingPeaks. FitnessSyncer has been syncing workouts to TrainingPeaks for a few years. Expanding that functionality to sleep, steps, etc. has been something that we have been discussing for a while, and we are very excited that this is now available for all TrainingPeaks users.

FitnessSyncer has a both free and premium accounts. Below is a coupon for 1 month free. They are also running a 25% off sale on annual subscriptions until Jan 7, 2017.

  11. To provide a basic facility that can be chosen by 'joe public' to be either a generic TP training plan or a specific coach driven plan. based upon basic generic sport specific training plan. I would be able to select what I believe to be the most suitable plan for my need and then overlay that plan onto my personal athlete calendar. Eg: if I were to see a simple increase FTP training program I could select it and try and plan my days training accordingly and then maybe closer to, or during race season I could change to a…

  12. I would like a chart where I can highlight segments of the ride and drag them down into a separate chart where it will link those together and give me all the data points on the cumulative group of segments I pull in. This way I can better look at the total time at intensity and display more clearly to that athlete what we are aiming for as we link together intervals or other meaningful segments.

  13. My wife and I use TP and share the same laptop at home. It would be great if there could be a way for us to quickly switch from one person's login to the other, without all the clicking and typing required to logoff and login again.

How about listing the last few users logged in on that computer in the drop-down menu at the top, then popping up a quick password box, to quickly switch between users.

    Thanks!

At this time, this is not a feature that we plan to add. That may change in the future, but nothing is definite.

There are a few workarounds though, such as letting the browser autocomplete your user/pw, use a tool like LastPass, or use two different browsers – each browser will store its own login information.

  14. For a coach working in the program will become more comfortable and convenient, if you have the ability to create blocks of exercises for the athlete, for example, the athlete has morning training and evening training, morning running and stretching, night Jogging, stretching and strength. And it would be great to have a clear division into blocks in the calendar for morning exercises and evening exercises. And the ability to create these blocks by different criteria and to assign them names in a free form.

  15. Based on the concept of thrust to weight ratio (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thrust-to-weight_ratio), it would be nice to have a graph that tracks:

FTP in seconds (power) / weight

I currently have to do this calculation myself and hide it in the 'waist' metric to display it as a graph.

  16. Why not be able to search for workouts by workout file name?
Here's the thing. I just submitted a support/help case for this because when trying to manually upload a .FIT file to the website, it tells me the .FIT file has been uploaded successfully, however, it doesn't "Pair" with the planned structured workout for the day, nor do I even see the file anywhere. And when I try to upload the file again, it tells me that it's already been uploaded. The catch? I have no idea where that file landed on the calendar. And I can't even search…

  17. To avoid clicking a completed workout and then clicking on 'Analyse', add a basic graph showing pace of the completed workout in the calendar view itself. This avoids opening every workout and coach has a quick overview instead of only a green session, which is often misleading. I spend countless hours giving feedback to athletes and to have this kind of visual snapshots and not just green, red, yellow is a big help. See the attached screenshot as an example.

An alternative feature is to toggle the calendar view with a view containing visual (graphs) of the weeks activities.

  18. The current color coding for "today" does not add value to the home screen. At the start of the day all of my athletes have a yellow designator without any of the workouts attempted or completed. These workouts need to be gray until data is loaded then color coded as appropriate for the compliance.

  19. I would like to be able to add tags to workouts in my workout library so that when I add the workout to a calendar it already has the tags in it that I need to follow. Adding tags individually into each and every workouts is stopping me from using tags at all.

  20. The information of TSS, CTL, ATL and Form of the Summary of the calendar, should be able to be customize by sports, as well as in the dashboard in the performance management chart.
This facilitates planning from the calendar. For example some times previous cycling or gym activities data realized by independently alters the future data CTL of a running plan in the calendar summary because only shows the total value of the metrics. If you have another previus activities, to see the TSS, CTL, ATL and Form of the main sport, you necessarily have to go to the dashboard. …
