zone based targets
Please add the option to use zone-based targets to your workout builder. Can't quite believe I'm writing this but apparently:
"there have been enhancements to the TrainingPeaks Workout Builder, and one of the key updates is the introduction of intensity ranges. Instead of selecting a fixed zone (like Zone 1 or Zone 2), you now have the flexibility to set your heart rate targets as a specific range (for example, 85%-90% of your threshold)..."
- what would have given us even greater flexibility, IMO, is adding this option to the existing zone-based option rather than taking that one away. I can't…

Persistent auto-interval detection filter
The new auto-interval detection is a great feature, but it mixes the detected intervals with the original FIT file laps. To improve visualization and interval data analysis, I suggest a persistent setting that only shows the detected intervals rows. The sorting or filtering features add unnecessary clicks.

Integration with Zapier for more automation options
I would love to see an integration with Zapier to automate things like sign-up forms, check-ins, team updates, etc. Instead of an internal automation tool, Zapier gives coaches lots of options and flexibility.

Improve web error/validation messages
Error/validation messages (e.g. "One completed workout must be paired with one planned workout") show the rule that is being violated, not the way in which the rule is being violated (e.g. "Planned workout is already paired with a completed workout.") The latter is more useful for the user.

Make "shoes" an optional equipment item for swim workouts
Let's make Shoe Type optional on swim workouts, so that it isn't displayed be default.
I get that SwimRun is a thing (most people probably do not), but I'd be shocked if more than 1% of swim workouts are people swimming in their shoes.
Also, any Swim/Run event will likely have a run segment, and what I care about are road miles on the shoes, not how often they got wet. You do not include the yardage / meters of a swim on the shoes distance, do you?
I see that Pool Type was recently added, so it seems like…

Limit the popup and banner and interstitial ads for coached athletes and add back the ability to do basic things like pair workouts to plan
I'm rarely moved to take the time to complain about something, but I can't remember the last time I had this bad of an experience. I'm an athlete who paid for one of your coaching plans, yet because I'm not paying your monthly fee I have to click through or close no less than 4 ads to actually use the interface. On top of that, you've removed the ability online and in the app to pair device captured workouts to planned workouts which breaks the entire model. I'd be tempted to pay for the subscription, but I refuse to be…

Training plan mis-applied to wrong dates
This is a bug, but I was asked to report here after first reporting to Customer Support
After purchasing a new training plan, it is possible to automatically apply starting "next Monday".
However, for international users, the localised intended date (e.g. 05/01/2026, January 5th) is then interpreted as a US format (MM/DD/YYYY) date, and the plan is applied starting May 1st.
Note that no date is ever actually input or selected by the user, this mixup is all internal to TrainingPeaks

workout >24hrs to span over multiple days in calendar
When adding a workout of duration greater than 24hrs, it still shows only on that start date in the calendar - it should span the workout over whatever number of days needed based on start time of the workout (particularly useful for long distance bike riders).
Background: Typically we don't cut down the activity recording by day we just let it run (so we can't create a workout per 24hrs period).2 votes -
Set bike ride max duration greater than 99hrs
Can you allow us to set bike ride durations greater than 99hrs? (common for Audax riders), need 3 digits hrs - currently you can type 120hrs but it reverts to 99hrs.

Training Peaks Premium Pop-up
I keep experiencing a pop-up encouraging me to sign up to Premium when I try and move a planned session in the calendar view. If I don't sign up to buy then I can't move my session. It is very annoying....can you please stop this from happening.

travel to availability -
Add the option 'travel' to availability reasons
Currently there is vacation but not 'travel' -- often athletes will need to miss a day due to travel to training camp or race site etc.
It is a different implication vs. 'vacation' or 'work' or 'sick' options provided

Add Volume/Distance to ATP
I plan my training by yards/meters I need to complete in a week (e.g., 80km or 80,000 yards). So the current version that uses time as the planning metric doesn't work well for me. I currently cross reference an excel spreadsheet when planning my daily workouts.

tpvirtualhub.com login should work better with password managers
tpvirtualhub.com login renders a sketchy-looking page on indievelo.com (anti pattern to make me enter my trainingpeaks.com password on a different domain) instead of realizing that I'm already logged in on this browser.

New feature to enable the ability to drag/drop courses from your routes library onto your calendar
New feature to enable the ability to drag/drop courses from your routes library onto your calendar and if required, configure a structured workout. This would eliminate the current two-step process required, whereby you need to create the event in TP Virtual.

Workout Builder: Skip last repeated recovery
It's be nice if there was an option to skip the last recovery interval of a repeating block so that I can program in a longer recovery or endurance section.

Please be consistent within the user interface
Some things you can click outside of the secondary window and it goes away back to the calendar, like the workout analysis and the details but some don't, like the new ST workout and the advanced metrics. Clicking outside of the detail does nothing.
And please remove the buggy new ST hovering menu. Most times you just pass the cursor in the calendar ST session and it opens a context that doesn't go away even if you roll the calendar up or down and we have to go back to that specific day to put the cursor in the workout…

Shortcut for "Delete"
Create a "Delete" shortcut. The C+Click for copy, and A+Click for analyse are very helpful, and so a D+Click for delete would also be very convenient.

Bulk Edit Athlete Notifications by Group
when adjusting notification settings for all my athletes, i should be able to see the athletes by group, such that i can adjust an entire group's notification settings at once. for example, i have a group of athletes that i am "casually coaching", where i don't necessarily need to be notified when they complete a workout or set a new threshold. but another group of athletes, i do need these notifications. and rather than memorize which athlete is what group, i'd like to adjust notification settings on a group basis, rather than an individual basis.

Whoop
Dear WHOOP Support,
For the past three days, my WHOOP data has not been syncing. The band is charged, and I regularly connect it to my phone, but no new data is showing in the app.
Could you please let me know what might be causing this issue and how I can resolve it?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards,
Ronald Wouters1 voteHI,
This is TrainingPeaks and not Whoop :)

Bug: On Safari (Desktop) Activities open in Quick View and then immediately switch to Expanded View
On Safari (latest macOS) clicking an activity brings it up in Quick View (as has been the way since forever) but then about a second later it jumps to Expanded View (which is visually jarring). Also, how do I specify which one I want? I actually prefer Quick View 99% of the time, so I just have to switch back.
