Workout Builder 'blocks and repeats' option
It would be great to have an option to make a workout block using "a number of steps" and "a number of repeats". So essentially combine the two options available on the current workout builder.
So I could make a single effort consisting of 5 ramps of targets, and repeat it 3 times. At the moment, I would have to enter that as a ramp block, then having to duplicate it as many times as I need.

Workoutbuilder: please add functionality for "multiple-step-repeats"
In addition to a warm-up and cool-down, interval training usually consists of successive, repetitive performance blocks, which in turn consist of "ramp-up" and "recovery" phases. - Currently TrainingPeaks only allows "sub-blocks" of 2 or 3 step repeats in its "Workout Builder". This is insufficient.Real training life requires more flexibility! Please create a new (or replace) the current blocks with a freely configurable block (up to at least 10 repetitions).A manual workaround is possible, but not status-compliant.

Repeat workouts/notes/sessions over period of time
For example, if you have a rest day every Monday - be able to see this as a repeat entry. Or if you have a class or group session. You can set it as a repeat with same details for a defined period of time (i.e. next 8 weeks or forever)
Also - ability to delete the whole series too.31 votes -
Very dissatisfied with the new layout.
All the workout simply blend together. Very difficult to read and create plans. Please reconsider the former color coded format.

Allow "note" to be used in training plans
The "note" option allows a coach to leave a comment, general guidance, etc. for individual athletes. It would be nice to have that option for training plans, especial dynamic plans, that a coach may use to communicate schedules to a group of athletes.

Allow Scattergraphs to show full data precision...
I recently acquired an SmO2 sensor and was able to connect it to my Wahoo Bolt. When I upload the data to TP I can display a scattergraph of the O2 saturation levels by time but the graph seems to round off all the data to whole % points rather then displaying it to the tenth of a percent as is found in the data. The actual data contains three decimal places (ie. .495 or .503 these correspond to 49.5% or 50.3% respectively). However all the scattergraph points just show the whole percent and throw away the last decimal value…

HRV4Training Metrics -> TrainingPeaks
Are there plans for the wellness metrics recorded in the HRV4Training app to be able to come across to TrainingPeaks? Rather than having to use two separate apps each morning, if would be fantastic if the wellness metrics recorded in the HRV4Training app came across into TrainingPeaks, just as the HRV and Pulse numbers do.
1 voteMost wellness metrics entered in to HRV4Training can be sync’d to TrainingPeaks. This can be enabled in the HRV4Training app. This blog post has more information on how to set that up. https://www.hrv4training.com/blog/hrv4training-trainingpeaks-update

Add a note as a workout type
Add workout should have note as a type. That way you could see a general note that applies across workouts or health factors with ideas to yourself or coach at a high level without having to get to the specific note for a workout.
1 voteNote is currently one of the available Metric types that can be logged in your TrainingPeaks account. You can also select the order that metrics are displayed, and the first metric listed will be displayed in the Metric tile on the calendar for a quick glance. If you need more assistance with this, please contact our Customer Success Team and they can help you out. https://help.trainingpeaks.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

HRV vs TSS in a single chart
In Dashboard section, I would like to see a chart that shows relations between HRV and TSS.
I have tried HRV with the overlap of "Yesterday's training", but it does not really show any data for the training and if shows them - it will be the TSS score of what?
I see the HRV is a data field in Metrics and TSS is part of the activities tracking (calculated field?) and those two sources seem to not be integrated into a single chart. Do you have some future plans to do so?
Thanks a lot in advance.Best regards, …
4 votesHRV and TSS can be displayed on the same chart in our mobile apps. Using our mobile apps you can display any metric along side just about any aggregate workout value. I suggest adding TSS, HRV, and Sleep to a PMC chart to see how all those values interact. Our Customer Success Team can give you more details. https://help.trainingpeaks.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

deactivate ERG mode - I use an Edge 520 and TP
need to see if you can help me deactivate ERG mode - I use an Edge 520 and TP IQ to download my workouts (power based from my coach).
For some of these the power output is a guideline - and cadence is more important. But due to the 'smart' trainer the resistance goes all over the place.
Outside of TP workouts I can turn off ERG on the Garmin 520, but all turbos are driven by TP workouts.4 votesOnce you are performing the workout you are back in Garmin’s workout interface, so all the same workout settings are available.The Edge 520 uses the ANT+ FE-C protocol to control smart trainers. You should be able to unpair that sensor to prevent the 520 from controlling the resistance of the trainer. you will need to reference the User Guide for 520 for specifics.

Allow third party workout files (ERG, MRC, Zwift, FIT, etc) to be imported
FEATURE REQUEST
Ability to import a workout file from a third party, like Zwift, Garmin, TrainerRoad, PerfPro, CompuTrainer, or a generic ERG or MRC file, etc. Drag and drop or import the file into the TrainingPeaks calendar day.BENEFITS
There are thousands of workout files already out there developed by third parties, and so no reason to have to create more of them in TrainingPeaks, especially if those workouts in TrainingPeaks cannot control a smart trainer.SUB-REQUEST
Click on the imported workout and have it launch the third party application (if that app can be opened directly from a workout…243 votesA few months ago, someone suggested that we figure out a way to get workouts from ERGdb.org to TrainingPeaks. Alex at ERGdb thought that was a good idea too, so we put our heads together and found a way to make it happen. As of today you can sync structured workouts from ERGdb to TrainingPeaks. You can also import all of your ERG, MRC, and soon your Z**** workout files into ERGdb and then sync them to TrainingPeaks. Check out this blog post how it all works and let us know what you think.https://ergdb.org/training-peaks-push-workouts/

There are multiple mobile, and desktop, apps that will import structured workouts from TrainingPeaks for controlling smart trainers. These are some of our favorites:
https://www.trainingpeaks.com/blog/choosing-the-right-indoor-cycling-app/There is an app for Garmin devices that import structured workouts from TrainingPeaks. The newer Garmin models will control smart trainers that support the ANT+ FE-C protocol.
https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/4b834c4a-96a9-422a-a945-08cea2ee571dThe Wahoo ELEMNT and ELEMNT Bolt are also compatible with structures workouts from TrainingPeaks, and will control the Wahoo KICKR.

Improve accuracy of NGP on hills
As it is today, NGP accounts for hills -- up or down -- by adjusting NGP up when climbing, and adjusting down when descending. However, TrainingPeaks currently applies equal and opposite adjustments for equal up/down grades. That means if you climb and descend the same hill, NGP will be the same as if you just ran flat. That's incorrect. In the real world, if you run up a 6% grade, you burn more energy than the energy you save running down a 6% grade.
I would like to see a much more accurate NGP calculation, as this would help the…

Ability to apply individual weeks of a training plan to an athlete.
To use when, having created an individualised Plan, apply to the athletes calendar in say, 4 weeks blocks.
1 voteYou should be able to accomplish this by using our dual calendar view and copy/paste week(s) from the training plan into your athlete’s calendar. Hope this helps and please do reach out to our customer success team if you have any issues getting this to work. To accomplish this if you have to scroll the view, you can select the first day then shift+select the last day of the period you want to copy then select the copy option. Thanks!

Show planned TSS in charts (such as TSS per week)
Currently, planned TSS is not showed in charts such as TSS per week.
As TP is a planning tool, I think this is a must.It will help to see at a glance if the following weeks are hard or not and if there is any unusual behaviour in planned TSS.
This is possible with other metrics, sucha as planned duration or distance. Why not for TSS
19 votesWe’ve just released TSS based ATP so you can now plan and track your season with TSS.

Better color coding on calendar
Current color scheme:
Gray = Future workout
Gray = Completed but not planned
Green = Completed 80%-120% of planned
Yellow = Completed 50%-79% or 121-150% of planned
Red = Completed <50% or >150% of planned
Red = SkippedSuggested Changes:
1) Different colors for the two "gray workouts", i.e WHITE = completed by not planned and GRAY = future
2) Different colors for the two "red workouts", i.e. ORANGE = greater/less than 50% and RED = Skipped.Gray = Future workout
White = Completed but not planned
Green = Completed 80%-120% of planned
Yellow = Completed 50%-79% or 121-150% of…160 votes -
Predicted CTL, ATL, TSB on calendar
It would be awesome if the calendar view could show predicted CTL, ATL, and/or TSB numbers on each day in the calendar. This would make it much easier to manage TSB while planning your workouts in order to peak at the right times. IT seems like the data is already available, since it's what powers the PMC. Having to switch back and forth between the dashboard view and the calendar view constantly is a bit of a pain; it's really the only complaint I have about an otherwise wonderful product.
44 votesThanks for the suggestion. We just released TSS based ATP so you’ll be able to plan your season by TSS and your ATP weekly target TSS will be visible on your calendar.

Associate and disassociate completed activities with planned workouts
When an activity is completed and uploaded automatically, Training Peaks does a reasonable but imperfect job of lining these up with planned workouts. This does not always work correctly, especially with races, so it would be handy to have and option to associate activities with planned workouts. Conversely it would be useful to be able to separate planned workouts and completed activities so that they can be associated correctly. I think of this akin to reconciliation of receipts to your bank statement. I was thinking along the lines of select an activity and a planned session and then click a…

Ramp rate on a selected timeframe on the PMC.
I'd like to be able to select a timeframe on the PMC like I can do within an activity.
I'd like to see the CTL ramp rate during the selected period and also the ATL/CTL ratio and average TSS/d.
Ultimately, this could also work on planned/future workout to
