  1. I'd like to see better visualization comparison between different metrics.
    So for example.
I want to know how my HR value changed in different Pace Zones in the last three month, years e.g.

  2. Users should be able to opt in or out of StackUp.

I’m sure I’m not unique in the TP community in that I’m training intentionally (and using a coach) because I want to make improvements in my life. I’m a heavier athlete and already have a complicated set of feelings when I show up on race day in a tri suit with all of my competition then cross the finish line close to the back of the pack. I need to remind myself that we’re all on a journey. I made the mistake of opening up the StackUp beta when…

  3. As a user planning my own training schedule, I would like to know how much time I have planned in each zone for future weeks, so I can ensure that the proportion of high intensity and low intensity work is in line with my desires.

Currently, if I want to know how much time I am planning to spend in zones 4, 5, 6 compared with zones 2 and 3 in a future week of my training plan, I need to manually calculate the cumulative time in each zone by summing them together from each workout in the week. This…

  4. Hi there,
when using the scattered graph and introducing different views of various combinations of data channels, these settings will reset to the default every time it is closed and reopened. This does not make too many sense.
Would be a very nice feature if the settings I introduce to the scattered graph would be saved when leaving the dialogue saving it or "save and close" ...
Ideally for bike and run differently as - depending on the discipline - different combinations of channels are relevant / interesting.
    What do you think?

Thank you for the feedback. This is a common request and has been added to that project’s feedback.

Future opportunities have not been added to our road map yet, but we are actively collecting feedback which contributes to the prioritization process. We do not want to set up false expectations and want to make sure that there is awareness that this update currently is not prioritized and does not have an ETA.

  5. I currently have a Garmin watch (currently Forerunner 955) and a Garmin Index scale. Everyday my health data from Garmin is synched from Garmin Connect to TrainingPeaks. However, they synch separately and I end with two different entries. One with the weight metrics from the Garmin scale, and another with the sleep data and other metrics from the forerunner. I believe all health data should be incorporated into a single daily file, at least for the first weigh in of the day. I understand some people might want to weigh themselves more than once daily, and that could make it…

  6. Currently the planned workout includes breaks and gives a time and pace based on that. The uploaded workout does not, so the pace and TSS are higher, and the workout compliance ends up not green.

There are pros and cons for both measures - being able to see actual swim pace, not pace including breaks, or being able to see the total duration of the sessions., Either way I think we should compare the same thing, not 2 different things.
I would prefer the uploaded file to include breaks, but a toggle to be Abe to switch between them on…

  7. Hi, it is possible to add the ability to select median heart rate rather than average? If there are enough outliers in the data, it will skew the results. As an example, I just completed an hour run. My heart rate settled in to a range of 130-132 for most of the run but since there was a ramp in the beginning and at the end, they were included and it skewed the average down. I have also seen this have a larger impact on treadmill runs where I had to stop momentarily to start another session since I exceeded…

  8. Provide Added functionality to 'Peak Performance' feature that allows to see 5s, 1min, 5min, 10min, etc based on virtual or outdoor rides. Also, add capability to see peak performances based on normalized power.

  9. Whoop does this with heart rate zones, it shows how long you staid in each zone, and once you click on the zone, it shows on the graph the moments on the training where that zone was being worked. This is good to understand if the actual training achieved the zones required. This can be done based on Power Zones and Heart Rate zones.

  10. For a triathlon, there are 5 workouts uploaded to the calendar (Swim, T1, Bike, T2, Run). I could cope with that. But when it comes to swimrun, workouts with 15 runs and 14 swims are normal. This bloats the calendar.

I want TP to be able to show this as one event but when i go into the details of the workout, all workouts that makes up this multisport event are listed. Garmin Connect handles this in a neat way.

  12. The PP chart in Strava, Golden Cheetah, etc. show peak power numbers for basically all time intervals, which is very helpful. It's nice to know if someone smashed an effort 8m long, but then you see a big drop to 10m. Or if someone has a great climb that's 45-50m long and their peak performances are on that climb, but not for 30m or 1h. Those highpoints on the curve are impossible to see with the big gaps in TP.

  13. Now that AI has come in to place, it would be nice to see a projected FTP and not have to do an FTP test

It would be nice For self trained athletes to develop a workout plan and see where they will be in the next six or 12 weeks in regards to your FTP. It could also have a range of variance high and a low if you are not compliant 100% to the plan anyway I think it be nice touch.

  14. it would be nice, if it is possible to add Fat/Carbohydrate- and of course the overall energy Combustion data from a lab test (e.g. Inscyd, Spiro) to the training zones. So it would be possible to automatically calculate e.g. the fat/carbohydrate combustion during a training session/training week. I think, that would be a great improvement For all coaches, who use those lab tests. Other Platforms (todays plans, azum) already have this feature...

  15. Please add longer standard durations for Peaks. Currently the max duration for measuring power or HR is 90 minutes. However, many fitness events, for example Gravel cycling or running marathons, last much longer than 90 minutes. Being able to measure performance over longer durations than 90 minutes is a key requirement, in training for events such as these.
There are other Ideas for the ability to define custom durations. That would be very good, but would also take quite a bit of developer time to implement since it’s a more complex function. As a short term, easier-to-implement enhancement, please just…

  16. For trail runners will be useful to have NGP available in graphs and scatter plots.
Also charts like Time in Speed Zone to be based also on NGP.

  17. While preparing for an event, it would be nice to overlay previous period to compare progress. Like, what do these 16 weeks look like, compared to another “similar period” last year. Especially interesting if you reuse an old training plan.

  18. Currently you cannot 'overlap' ATPs. You can create multiple ATPs but these must not overlap in terms of dates. However, it would be very useful to be able to create different versions of an ATP (with the same / similar date period), so that we could compare different possible approaches to periodising the year. At any one time, only one of these ATPs would be 'active', and that's what would link to the calendar etc. But you could switch between the different ATPs. Currently the only way to do this kind of comparison is to create an ATP, then make…

  19. data in sleep metrics is currently measured in % hr. It should be measured in hrs:min:sec, like the time field in workouts.

also, more generally, it would be good to have a general custom field where athletes can track a bespoke metric which may not be currently available to be measured in metrics. thanks.

  20. For mountain runners and skimo racers a peak VAM chart similar to the peak power and peak HR charts would be really useful. You could see your best VAM for varying durations and track improvements over time.
