User friendly printable training program
Interactive, electronic platforms are crucial for training. Yet I find I still journalling my experiences, making handwritten notes, thoughts, ideas, responses an important personal part of my training.
The current printable format for training plans is cumbersome and not user friendly. It was also difficult to cut and past into either a word document or spreadsheet.
Would you please make at minimum a copy ( even pdf) printable training plans and notes available in a user friendly format3 votes -
ATP events
As a coach. It happens very often that i have to create the same race events for several athletes during the Atp creation/edit. this leads to a duplication and wasting of time. i suggest to split event creations in a shared season calendar and the athlete specific goal for that event in his own ATP so to reuse the events already created.

Custom duration/time selection
The ability to manually add specific durations for peak power like 15" or 3'.
2 votesThis is a feature of WKO and will probably not make its way into TP for some time. it is not out of question though.

Calendar view
need to be able to view as many weeks on one screen as the classic allowed up to 6 weeks. There now is no way to adjust that or a search for date option.
2 votesControlling the number of weeks shown is no longer an option with the infinite scroll calendar. However, if you put the app in fullscreen mode the workouts go into a compact view mode. In this mode you can get 4-6 weeks visible depending on the number of workouts on the calendar. It is the button with the arrows on it, two down from the today button at the top.

Customize fitness history
Would be great if we can customize the intervals in TP Fitness History. Standard are 5sec, 1m, 5m, 20m, 60m. would be great to be able to add our own (i.e. 10m, 30m, etc)
2 votesWe do not have plans to allow custom durations for the Peaks calculation. However, this is a feature of WKO.

This is something that we will consider in the future.

Set Workout builder to measure by Zone
Love the new Workout builder, but would like to measure by zones. Easier to select zone than to reenter the %HR since I've already the appropriate ranges for each zone in setup.
2 votesGreat suggestion. We’ve struggled with this as the workout may be created based on a zone methodology different from an athlete’s or multiple athletes’ zones. Thus Zone 2 per the workout may not map correctly to different users depending on each users’ specific zone settings. We will continue to look into this as we agree planning and execution of workouts is often based on zones – we’re just wanting to ensure if we do enable this, it’s usable for athletes with differing zone settings/methodologies. Thanks for your feedback!

TP Details as an option to view on the calendar
Hello guys;
I would suggest that the "Datails" column in ATP could have an option to appear on the calendar, as well as the "Limiters - Run" column; TSS planned... As this would help in the construction of the weeks with information from each athlete...
It would be possible??Thanks!

Support visibility into SRAM eTap shifting data
SRAM eTap tracks shifting data and I can see that data on my Garmin Edge 1030 but that doesn't get surfaced up into my TP workouts. I know this data is in the SRAM AXS portal also. Perhaps by building a connection to that partner the data could be mapped in?

Find a way (icon or colour code) to see in calendar what unit the structured work out is using. (threshold pace, Threshold power, etc)
I deliver trainings either in pace threshold or power threshold. Because I copy paste some trainings, sometimes I will use the wrong unit (using power threshold vs pace threshold for example). I always audit each training once I m done but this takes time as I have to enter the training and hoover on the structured work-out. Would like an icon or colour in the structured work-out in calendar view to save time. For example a little lightning strike on the structured workout if this is a power based training, a shoe icon if it s pace based, etc..

bigger laps and splits column chart
It would great if the laps and splits column chart could be enlarged. When there are lots of laps in an interval session, it is hard to easily analyze all the lap times. Something like Stravas model would be easier to read. This also goes for the the list data. It would be great to be able to expand and see the whole list if needed.

Absolute grade
How about a simple feature to calculate relative steepness called “absolute grade”? It would simply take the absolute value of the grade for any given climb or descent, and divide it by distance. For example, when I ran the Headlands 100M, which gains and loses about 20K feet over the distance, absolute grade would come out to 7.6%. That’s an exceptionally useful number to have, and must be extremely easy to calculate.

Improve the recalculate TSS option so it includes run power
Currently you can't recalculate run workouts with power, so if they load with the wrong threshold you have to recalculate them manually!

Adding time in zone for power and heart rate into the ATP graph.
I use the custom ATP a lot to keep on track and plan what comes next. The only real drawback right now is that I constantly have to toggle between the ATP page and the Dashboard in order to see what the makeup of a week or month or other period of time in terms of accumulation of time in zone. I use time in zone and total hrs much more than I do any of the other metrics. Being able to hover over a week or highlight a period on the ATP page and see time in zone for…

ISO week numbers in the calendar view
In my part of the world we sometimes refer to the different weeks as the week number, for instance the school refers to which week is vacation. My coach also refers to which week that has some test and so on. This leads to myself cross referencing dates and weeks as well as adding notes some times of which week it is.
It would be great if the ISO week number could be added somewhere in the calendar view, for instance under the "Week Controls" button.

Different unit for different sports
It would be nice to have the ability to select different unit system for different sports. For example, I use English units for my run log (mile, min/mile, ...) and I keep my swimming log under metric system (m, min/100m, ...
TrainingPeak's support confirmed with me that this is not possible with current version of TP. I really hope this can be included in future releases.1 vote -
Remove the requirement to enter threshold power in order for NP to be calculated.
Could TP remove the requirement to enter threshold power in order for NormPower to be calculated? Since threshold power is not a variable that's a part of the algorithm it's hard to understand why this is required. Not all coaches base their training or ranges around "Threshold" so it's a bit unclear as to why this must be done and would be helpful to not have to enter default data that does not have any bearing on the athlete just to use the NP functionality in the graphs.
