  1. For trail runners will be useful to have NGP available in graphs and scatter plots.
Also charts like Time in Speed Zone to be based also on NGP.

  3. I think it is very useful to allow the search for activities based on the search criterion based on RPE and subjective feeling. It would also be interesting to be able to visualize the trend of these parameters over time using a graph, in order to understand what may have been done wrong in the preparation

  4. Hi, it is possible to add the ability to select median heart rate rather than average? If there are enough outliers in the data, it will skew the results. As an example, I just completed an hour run. My heart rate settled in to a range of 130-132 for most of the run but since there was a ramp in the beginning and at the end, they were included and it skewed the average down. I have also seen this have a larger impact on treadmill runs where I had to stop momentarily to start another session since I exceeded…

  5. To see NGP in running workout analysis metrics, you have to toggle back and forth between TSS and rTSS selection on the summary screen. This is a pain point as it as a lot of slow screen switching when analyzing laps or segments of workouts. Display both NGP and power metrics for running workouts when power is available.

  6. I have a proposed enhancement for workout analysis. I'd like to be able to set a power threshold using a vertical slider alongside the analysis graph. The graph would highlight each time my power was above this threshold showing the length of time I was above it. This would help me analyse multiple efforts during the same ride e.g. sprint intervals or 30s efforts above FTP. The tool could work in exactly the same way with heart rate.

  7. For Peak Performances, if I set a new record that's greater than 25% more than my previous, I feel it should ask me to confirm if it's valid. Or at least some checks that I'm not running faster than Usain Bolt's 100m mph for a full mile, or swimming faster than Michael Phelps or biking faster than Lance Armstrong, etc... For those of us that live in a city and the buildings the GPS can be inaccurate and cause wildly incorrect times and an upper bound would be quite useful.

  8. Provide Added functionality to 'Peak Performance' feature that allows to see 5s, 1min, 5min, 10min, etc based on virtual or outdoor rides. Also, add capability to see peak performances based on normalized power.

  9. Whoop does this with heart rate zones, it shows how long you staid in each zone, and once you click on the zone, it shows on the graph the moments on the training where that zone was being worked. This is good to understand if the actual training achieved the zones required. This can be done based on Power Zones and Heart Rate zones.

  11. For mountain runners and skimo racers a peak VAM chart similar to the peak power and peak HR charts would be really useful. You could see your best VAM for varying durations and track improvements over time.

  12. Due to displaying multiple scales on the same chart and that the data is fairly well-bounded, the plots of metrics feels very "choppy." It'd be nice to have an option to display data in a rolling average form to smooth it out. Businesses already do this for displaying YoY data for the same reason. See attached screenshot as an example.

  15. The Fitness History tables include one year of historical data. It would be great to be able to go further back in time. The custom date range feature works for the charts but not for the tables.

  16. Hi Peakers,

I'd like to request the addition of the Scatter Plot function, currently available in individual analyses, to the Dashboards section as well. This function should include variables such as Pace, HR (Heart Rate), Power, Cadence, Step Length, etc., plotted against Distance, Time, Temperature, etc. Importantly, it would be highly beneficial if the analysis could incorporate not just peak values but also averages or median values. This is because training sessions occur more frequently than competitive events where peak performance is observed.

Furthermore, it would be great to have the option to construct a chart showing minimum, maximum, average,…

  17. Hi guys, As a coach sometimes the question is asked by our athletes when doing track sessions what the time is for each lap or segment. For example if I wanted my athletes to run a 900m continuous effort at slightly faster paces for each 300m then I would normally go to a website and plug in the information. This would be good to have on the Training Peaks website and Mobile app to be able to calculate at the time speaking with the athletes (especially if you are not the greatest with math calculations quickly). So in my example…

  18. While preparing for an event, it would be nice to overlay previous period to compare progress. Like, what do these 16 weeks look like, compared to another “similar period” last year. Especially interesting if you reuse an old training plan.

  19. Improve rTSS calculation method. Currently it is based exclusively on average pace. So if you do a hard workout, say that gives you 80 rTSS points, and then you jog to cool down, the rTSS score diminishes. Let's say to 70. This makes absolutely no sense. The algorithm needs to be changed to actually make sense. Since I learned this, I end my workout before cooling down. So I either disregard the cool down TSS, or I have to upload two different workouts.

If you look at the lap chart, you will quickly see that in an interval workout the…

  20. Currently when tracking metrics for athletes or oneself, you must choose from a preset selection of options, which obviously does not include every possible concern. When coaching athletes with less common concerns, it would be very useful to be able to add a custom metric so that one could track that specific symptom without having to write a note about it each time. One example of this would be migraine headache. Another would be an athlete with intermittent chronotropic incompetence, or HR issues related to intermittent beta blocker usage, for example for arrhythmia or performance anxiety. Adding every foreseeable medical…
