  1. Hello,

for running workouts, the efficiency factor calculation for me uses m/s for the pace divided by heart rate.

Due the values for these metrics, the EF is a rather small value somewhere around 0.02 which ends up being a rounded value and would require an increase of around 50% to show a change.

I would request that you multiply the result of the calculation pace (in m/s) / heartrate by factor 100.

This would allow to actually see smaller improvements of this metric.

    As an example right now:
Pace of 2.5m/s (which is around 6min/km) and a heartrate of…

  2. Sweat Rate Tracking - would be brilliant to input weight pre and post session, with automatic sweat rate tracking. Tagging the rates to activity types and able to plot against intensities and temperatures for analysis.

Takes this analytic away from our spreadsheets and into a sole training platform!

  4. I would love the ability to compare specific segments of repeated structured workouts over time.

Many key sessions repeat during a training cycle — for example threshold blocks, tempo intervals, or marathon-pace segments. The most valuable insight for me as a coach is not the comparison of full workouts, but how an athlete performs within the same workout segment from week to week.

Being able to compare segment-level data (pace, heart rate, power, cadence, efficiency, drift) across multiple instances of the same workout would help identify progress, plateaus, fatigue, or form changes much earlier and far more accurately.

    Right now…

  5. I need a reporting tool that can be easily exported and presented to the athlete weekly to show compliance, ramp rate, and then the PMC. These are displayed in the graphs on the mobile app but I need to take screenshots on mobile and metrics like ramp rate is not available on desktop where I could have done a loom video report. Maybe a group leaderboard with weekly stats I can share in the group chat?

  6. This would be fantastic for building useful charts in WKO for dedicated athletes. Being able to populate metrics like RMSSD, SDNN, HF, and LW, in addition to the existing HRV channel and heart rate, would be a true game-changer for monitoring athlete fatigue using TrainingPeaks-WKO.

  7. I think TrainingPeaks should add a notification feature when athletes' TSB exceed certain amount, like -30/-50, etc. Because my athletes usually get ill or injured when they keep their TSB below -50 for a few weeks, that might indicate athletes could get overtraining in a short period of time.

Hopefully this feature can help coaches to avoid overtraining beforehand.

    Thank you

  8. I have been using TP for 4 years and with the latest updates it seems like outdoor workouts no longer can be seen on a map when using the app on a computer. I can still see them on my iPhone. Why is that? Is it a setting/knowledge thing on my side or a deliberate feature?

  10. I would like to be able to sort my peak paces by time, as well as distance. For instance, Joe Friel uses a 20 minutes time trial to set pace and heart rate zones, it would be good to filter that to see my other peak 20 minutes efforts.

  11. I’m a skating coach and use TrainingPeaks to analyze and create training plans. In speed skating, we don’t have power meters to measure training load alongside heart rate data. However, we do have lap times measured with a transponder, and these lap times provide a good indication of training intensity, similar to how a power meter works in cycling.

I was wondering if it’s possible to use lap times as custom zones in TrainingPeaks, so that I can analyze what percentage of a training session was completed in each lap time zone, similar to speed zones in running or power…

  12. Hello everyone,
in the dashboard there are performance statistics such as the power profile.
I’m 65 years old, and in this profile my results look quite weak.
However, Garmin shows that my performance is actually within the top 5% in my age cathegory.
Wouldn’t it make sense for these charts to reflect age categories, similar to how it’s done at the UCI Masters World Championships?

  13. It would be nice to have a more advanced way of tracking gear, not the very simplistic bikes and shoes section
For example, I would like to be able to add different components (chains, cassetes, tyres, forks, shocks, etc) and keep track of their wear
Also, very important (Garmin also doesnt offer this) - the option to see total time for a specific component (very useful for service intervals for forks and shocks, also useful for users who wax their chains - i personally keep track of riding time for a waxed chain, so i know when it is time…

  14. Why can you not see a ATP weekly TSS or Hrs in the athletes training plan. It's frustrating these are not linked and you have to keep referring to both, very inefficient.

What we need is a weekly total visible in the athletes training plan as its shown in their calendar

  15. Currently, we can only see lap data in a list/table format. While functional, it makes it harder to see trends, spot pacing inconsistencies, or quickly assess interval workouts at a glance.

I'd love to see a Pace Analysis tool that shows the average pace of each lap in a bar chart format, similar to what Strava provides (see screenshot reference). This would make it much easier to quickly visualize pacing consistency across laps compared to the current table-only view.

    Proposed Solution
Introduce a Pace Analysis chart that:

Displays each lap’s average pace as a bar (pace on the y-axis, laps…

  16. It would be very useful in the beta charts to add the option to zoom in the X-Axis selection made, to make more accurate selections and focus only on a specific part of your workout.

  18. At the moment, the CHO/FAT breakdown and percentages are only shown for the entire activity. For structured workouts or substrate testing, it would be extremely valuable to see Fueling Insights per lap, interval, or user-selected section of a workout.

This would allow athletes and coaches to:

Compare substrate usage across different intensity blocks (Z2 vs Tempo vs Threshold).
Run field-based substrate tests without exporting and splitting FIT files manually.

Better individualize fueling strategies for specific race scenarios.

  19. I usually export the .FIT file and then cnvert it into a .CSV to make my own Excel data analysis but it takes me a lot of time.
Wouldn't be possible to go straight from Training Peaks to a CSV?

  20. Average Metrics for a highlighted section of a ride in beta charts. In attached screenshot with power and heart rate charts presented, I have highlighted the tail end of a recent ride for about the last 5 miles or 13 minutes - click and hold cursor and drag from left to right over the desired section/duration of the ride which is charted. It would be nice to present the average metrics in the popup for that highlighted segment, such as average heart rate, average power, duration in distance and/or time. If this has been suggested or can configured, I have…
