  1. In user settings allow coaches (and athletes) with appropriate warnings to set a starting CTL and ATL, ideally per sport, that will be used for athletes that are unable/unwilling to import their previous 42 days of workouts. As an experienced coach I can take a reasonable guess from an athlete's first week of training combined with an interview or 'stalking' on a certain sports social media app.

I realise the PMC has this, but if you set the PMC start ATL/CTL in coach dashboard it applies the same values to every athlete.

  2. No idea why my data can't be imported properly by TP. The tech people have been terrible with addressing this as power smoothing. But power smoothing 50-100+ watts for sustained intervals that aren't 5 second sprints? This is inexcusable for a paid service

  5. I keep a separate diary in Excel for all my post-activity comments. I don't put them in TP because it is impossible to get a good list of all comments. With a list I can see patterns. Now in TP there is a very limited view in the calendar. Just make a report listing all post/pre activity comments

  6. Wanting to explore the possibility to plot the "how did you feel" responses in a similar way to how you can plot other metrics like weight/sickness/injury etc

I use the How Did You Feel as a useful and simple tool to monitor my training progress. I grade each workout based on how I feel during the workout and record this value using the How Did You Feel.

By grading each workout this way, I can make a quick scan of my workouts and see any trends over the last week. As a good rule of thumb, if I have two…

  7. Movistar team and many other people and teams , use Reserve HR, that’s very accurate instead LHT, Max HR and Rest HR.
Please consider to add and ask them if you want to how important it is to train with this reserve HR metrics.
    Many thanks .

  8. TP analytics offers "elevation correction" (important to trail & mountain runners and others) BUT after any changes, it does NOT update corresponding (r)TSS!

I cannot find that "recalculate" button that I used before, so what I to do is switching from rTSS to TSS and back to rTSS, just to trigger that recalculation. Please fix in some way (recalculate option, trigger TSS refresh after elevation correction <> 0). thank you!

  10. Subject: Feature Suggestion - OpenAI Chat Integration for Instant Feedback and Analysis

    Dear Training Peaks Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am an avid user of the Training Peaks platform and have greatly benefited from its various features. Recently, I've come across an opportunity to enhance the user experience and provide valuable insights for athletes by integrating OpenAI chat functionality into the platform.

Feature suggestion: OpenAI Chat Integration for Instant Feedback and Analysis

    Overview:
Integrating OpenAI chat functionality into Training Peaks would enable athletes to receive instant feedback on their training and analysis based on their personal…

  11. Hi, I'm an exercise physiologist & coach. I often run into a scenario where I test an athlete and input new heart rate zones based off the results into the athletes training peaks account. Then when I want to look at dashboard metrics related to heart rate (I.e. time in heart rate zones) on this athlete, the outdated zone numbers are all I can see on dashboard. To my understanding, I need to go into each individual workout and recalculate (see image attached) every workout within the dashboard chart timeline I choose.

For example, I test someone and have to…

  13. Most Garmin watches now offer sleep analysis and they incorporate this into a feature called Body Battery that indicates fatigue and training readiness. Since you can now sync this sleep data into TP, please can you integrate it into the Performance Management Chart? Sleep quality is a critical factor in the body's ability to perform but right now the PMC ignores it.

  14. In the TrainingPeaks app, under the calories and macronutrient charts, please add the ability to account for calorie expenditure based on either the basal metabolic rate, or a user determined calorie goal. The web version of the platform already has this ability under the 'Calories by Time Period' chart, but the app lacks this. At least that's true for the Android version of the software. If the maintenance calories are not accounted for, the consumed calories far out-weigh the expended calories. It would be nice to just look at the graph and know that the required calories are being consumed…

  15. Blood Glucose readings are only available as a metric currently. Please add support for continuous Blood Glucose readings during a workout, in the same way that Power, Torque, Cadence, Speed and Elevation are supported. Not just on the Scatter Graph, but on the main Graph please.

Both professional cycling teams and amateurs are now using CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitoring) for training, recovery and fuelling analysis. Now is the time to start supporting this data in Training Peaks., as other providers are getting onboard.

SuperSapiens (https://www.supersapiens.com/) support export of a glucose CSV file. I have attached one so that…

  16. Provide Added functionality to 'Peak Performance' feature that allows to see 5s, 1min, 5min, 10min, etc based on virtual or outdoor rides. Also, add capability to see peak performances based on normalized power.

  20. I am 54. Part of my new routine has been to regularly take my blood pressure. I have always prided myself on keeping active. I have also been egotistical in ignoring some things. Heart attacks and strokes are no longer things off in the distance for me. I recently bought a Garmin Index BP monitor. It syncs with the Garmin Connect app but the data doesn't transfer over to the Training Peaks side. The Garmin S2 scale weight information transfers just fine (usually).
Anyway, as an older athlete the time has come to keep regular check of my blood pressure…
