  2. It would be great to get a calculation for future workouts, so I would like to see planned kJ (ast least) for a Watt based bike workout and also planned kJ for a Week would be great! So kJ as a nother metric like planned Duration, TSS…

  3. I would like to add yoga and core/PT exercises to my calendar as a recurring activity. For instance, yoga every Tuesday and Thursday. I know we can copy and paste but the ability to add it once and have it be a recurring activity until a specified end date would be helpful.

  4. Why not be able to search for workouts by workout file name?
    Here's the thing. I just submitted a support/help case for this because when trying to manually upload a .FIT file to the website, it tells me the .FIT file has been uploaded successfully, however, it doesn't "Pair" with the planned structured workout for the day, nor do I even see the file anywhere. And when I try to upload the file again, it tells me that it's already been uploaded. The catch? I have no idea where that file landed on the calendar. And I can't even search…

  6. I would like to see HR data for pool swims added to the main overview screen in the TP web interface.

    I am aware I can see it elsewhere, but I like the at-a-glance option that exists on the main overview screen for run and cycling workouts.

  7. In theory, as my fitness improves as the months pass, a specific pace (e.g., my easy pace) will seem… easier, which will be reflected in a lower HR at that pace if graphed over the weeks/months. Alternatively, for a given HR, I’ll be able to run faster, so at that HR, I should see my average pace increase over the weeks/months. It’d be great to be able to graph either pace (for a given HR) or HR (for a given pace) on the Y axis with days/weeks/months on the X axis to see fitness go up/down.

  10. It would be nice to be able to edit the tags - I'm a cross country skier so I do a lot of things that have nothing to do with swimming, running or cycling so I've been using tags. The opportunity is to allow editing of the List of tags to eliminate accidental duplicates, misspellings, etc. I'm using premium in a tab in Chrome on a Windows computer. I don't use the phone app and I have WKO5 but have never really figured out how to use it since everything seems so focused on power and cycling which are not…

It would be nice to have possibility to create special pause/rest block in workout builder that could be used between intervals which wouldn’t be calculated in the final average pace of the entire workout. It similar case like in Garmin ultra run workout where you can see average pace without pitstop stations.

  12. In order to define target more precisely (e.g. exact target pace for certain intervals) it would be great if we could use one decimal number in % of Threshold field in case Target option is chosen.

  13. Checking and fixing workout tags is a tiresome process on TP. Lamentably, many athletes forget or don't care about using the right sport-type profile on their head unit during workouts. I have a few suggestions:
    1) Move tags to the left area of the summary workout view. Long post-activity messages push them downwards, making it harder to remember to check them (see screenshot).
    2) Make them available on the Analyze view.
    3) Allow athletes' tags to be editable in their settings.

  14. I currently subscribe to my Training Peaks calendar through my Apple calendar and share this subscription with my wife so she can see when I am training. In Training Peaks I would typically set a swim workout start time of 06:30 with duration of 30mins. This 30mins is typically the time I plan to be actually swimming (excluding rests) which is absolutely the information I want to record against my ATP. However in reality I will be in the pool for 50-60 mins, and if I also factor in travel time to and from the pool, getting changed etc. the…

  15. Currently when you search the Workout library you can only sort by Title A-Z, Title Z-A, and type. I would like the ability to sort by:

    • Distance High to Low
    • Distance Low to High
    • TSS High to Low
    • TSS Low to High
    • Time High to Low
    • Time Low to High

    While filtering helps, sorting would also make it better.

  16. I would like to be able to filter training plans by the intensity targets used for structured workouts. The 8020 Endurance plans offer a number of plans that are identical except for the usage of HRM, Power meter, or pace for intensity targets. If I have a preference for one of those, it would be nice to be able to only see plans that feature my preferred intensity metric.

  17. It would be great and really easy if there was a method to automatically upload an excel file and it auto-populate into the software for a client to view the workouts.

    For example, if there was a template with a column for date, time, workout type etc. then a column for the workout itself. Then you populate the template and could just drag the file into TP and it auto-populates into the athletes calender.

    This would make programming so easy and simple instead of having to do all the manual work of pressing all the different buttons, dragging workouts, editing,…

My idea/proposal is to be able to create a 'Master' workout, then if you copy this workout and place it in your calendar say 10 times (secondary workouts) when you make a change/update to the master workout this is automatically pushed through to all the secondary workouts. Currently I believe you would need to edit each of the 10 workouts individually.
    A further development of this concept would be to have recurring workouts, with perhaps the possibility to increase volume/intensity by X% for each occurence to fit in with periodisation.

  19. It would be awesome if you could connect default equipment to a sport. If a default bike is a racebike and yoi go mountainbiking you always have to change the equipment in the workout file from racebike to mountainbike. If you can connect the mountainbike as the default bike for mountainbiking, you would not have to change it anymore. Same for shoes. You could connect specific trailrunning shoes as the default equipment for trailrunning.

  20. Have a checkbox in the PMC on the dashboard that will display race days with a distinctive star or other icon, allowing a visual way to see how the metrics line up with planned races.
