Add recurring workout functionality
I would like to add yoga and core/PT exercises to my calendar as a recurring activity. For instance, yoga every Tuesday and Thursday. I know we can copy and paste but the ability to add it once and have it be a recurring activity until a specified end date would be helpful.

weekly summary totals now hidden...please no!
Please bring back the weekly total calculations while we coaches are building our weekly training schedules in the hidden mode. Having these weekly totals out of view while we are building schedules certainly adds more computer time and this is not the goal. This just changed with the most recent update and I personally find it a huge disappointment.

Structure workouts based on specific Zones
It would be a good option to be able to choose specific zones for an athlete when building a workout in the Workout builder.
This could then be chosen from a drop-down menu for the sport-specific zones an athlete has (either based off HR or Pace/power).152 votes -
Workoutbuilder: please add functionality for "multiple-step-repeats"
In addition to a warm-up and cool-down, interval training usually consists of successive, repetitive performance blocks, which in turn consist of "ramp-up" and "recovery" phases. - Currently TrainingPeaks only allows "sub-blocks" of 2 or 3 step repeats in its "Workout Builder". This is insufficient.Real training life requires more flexibility! Please create a new (or replace) the current blocks with a freely configurable block (up to at least 10 repetitions).A manual workaround is possible, but not status-compliant.

Allow Scattergraphs to show full data precision...
I recently acquired an SmO2 sensor and was able to connect it to my Wahoo Bolt. When I upload the data to TP I can display a scattergraph of the O2 saturation levels by time but the graph seems to round off all the data to whole % points rather then displaying it to the tenth of a percent as is found in the data. The actual data contains three decimal places (ie. .495 or .503 these correspond to 49.5% or 50.3% respectively). However all the scattergraph points just show the whole percent and throw away the last decimal value…

Completed TSS removed???
It appears that the recent updates to the web interface have removed 'Completed TSS' from Settings/Layout/Calendar/Workout. IOW, we can no longer see Planned AND Completed TSS for the workouts in the Calendar.
Please bring this back!
If I'm missing how to (re)enable this please direct me.
Cheers,
/Howie1 voteBy default completed duration, distance, and TSS are now always shown on the calendar, which is why the Completed TSS setting was removed. A checkmark now being displayed next to the metric that was used to determine compliance. Planned duration, distance, and TSS are still available as options.

It would be nice to see which outside services such as Garmin are connected to my TrainingPeaks account. Most other places have something like this to view connected apps.

HRV vs TSS in a single chart
In Dashboard section, I would like to see a chart that shows relations between HRV and TSS.
I have tried HRV with the overlap of "Yesterday's training", but it does not really show any data for the training and if shows them - it will be the TSS score of what?
I see the HRV is a data field in Metrics and TSS is part of the activities tracking (calculated field?) and those two sources seem to not be integrated into a single chart. Do you have some future plans to do so?
Thanks a lot in advance.Best regards, …
4 votesHRV and TSS can be displayed on the same chart in our mobile apps. Using our mobile apps you can display any metric along side just about any aggregate workout value. I suggest adding TSS, HRV, and Sleep to a PMC chart to see how all those values interact. Our Customer Success Team can give you more details. https://help.trainingpeaks.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Comment indicator in desktop/web application
It would be nice if each activity that has any comments has an indicator in calendar view, indicating that there are comments. The mobile app shows a speech bubble with a number in it, corresponding to the number of comments. It would be great to have that same functionality in the desktop app.

Peak Performances Browser
The recommendation is for a "peak performances" browser/manager in both the web app and the mobile app.
I really like the new-ish Peak Performances feature. It has really helped spark a new resurgence in my performance and i am setting all kinds of new PRs, in part motivated by this feature. If nothing else, it is aiding in my awareness of where my performance is day to day and helping me to set new, realistic goals which drive training and race selection.
I've posted elsewhere a need for a better FTP/field test tracker/manager. One thing i'm actually quite surprised about...is…

Total time and Running dynamics
Total time would help identify if people were taking long breaks on their workouts.
Running dynamics similar to the ones Garmin connect has. If you added this then I wouldn't have to open another app to view their data.
12 votesRunning Dynamics data can be viewed in the Scatter Graph. The Scatter Graph is available to coaches and athletes with a premium subscription, and can be added to the File Viewer from the Chart Library.
More information on using the Scatter Graph to analyze Running Dynamics data can be found here:

Allow range for workout targets
When creating workout targets in the workout builder, allow setting target values for duration in range.
For example, currently instead of 10 min warm up at 60%,
allow setting 10 min warm up at 60% - 65% (this is usually how coaches specify target values..).This should also apply for actual values, not just percentage of TH. e.g., 10 min warm up at 100 - 120 bpm / 120-150 watt).

The workout builder has been updated with three new features:1. Workout steps can be set to have an open duration. For most devices pressing the lap button will take you to the next step of the workout. This is currently available for Garmin devices. We expect other device manufacturers to implement this feature shortly. A suggested duration is still required for these steps so the planned duration and TSS for the workout can be calculated. This value will also be used for devices and file formats that do not support this feature.
2. Target values for the step (power, pace, heart-rate) can now be set to a custom range. This range will be used for Garmin devices. Most indoor cycling platforms require a single value for ERG mode, and the midpoint of the range will be used in that instance.
3. Cadence can now be set…

Estimated TSS for Training Plans
When purchasing and applying a training plan to the calendar, an estimated TSS would be automatically applied to each workout. This TSS could be based on averages from previously completed workouts.

Ability to apply individual weeks of a training plan to an athlete.
To use when, having created an individualised Plan, apply to the athletes calendar in say, 4 weeks blocks.
1 voteYou should be able to accomplish this by using our dual calendar view and copy/paste week(s) from the training plan into your athlete’s calendar. Hope this helps and please do reach out to our customer success team if you have any issues getting this to work. To accomplish this if you have to scroll the view, you can select the first day then shift+select the last day of the period you want to copy then select the copy option. Thanks!

Workout with both duration and distance
I would like to create a workout that has both duration and distance.
However it seems you can only select one, duration or distance.
For example a recent workout I am doing is run 2.4 kilometres with 90 seconds recovery (repeat twice).
The only work around I can see is to create each section individually, see attachment.12 votes -
Workout builder - include cadence options
Much like you can build from % ftp it would be nice if we could create workouts based on athlete's average/self selected cadence. Probably best to use a +/- on that. So I can say avg cadence + 10 or -10, etc. The workout would make its calculations by athlete when assigned.

Copy options in Workout builders - ability to change % of FTP to % of threshold Speed
I would like to be able to change from % of FTP to % of threshold speed (or visa versa) for workout I copy.
This would allow me to duplicate workouts I have created for athletes working with power or just HR.
Currently I can copy the workout but not change the fundamental metrics the specific training zones are measured by.
I have to rebuild complex workouts for both groups which is not a good use of my time, so please can we have the copy function amended to include this

Allow third party workout files (ERG, MRC, Zwift, FIT, etc) to be imported
FEATURE REQUEST
Ability to import a workout file from a third party, like Zwift, Garmin, TrainerRoad, PerfPro, CompuTrainer, or a generic ERG or MRC file, etc. Drag and drop or import the file into the TrainingPeaks calendar day.BENEFITS
There are thousands of workout files already out there developed by third parties, and so no reason to have to create more of them in TrainingPeaks, especially if those workouts in TrainingPeaks cannot control a smart trainer.SUB-REQUEST
Click on the imported workout and have it launch the third party application (if that app can be opened directly from a workout…243 votesA few months ago, someone suggested that we figure out a way to get workouts from ERGdb.org to TrainingPeaks. Alex at ERGdb thought that was a good idea too, so we put our heads together and found a way to make it happen. As of today you can sync structured workouts from ERGdb to TrainingPeaks. You can also import all of your ERG, MRC, and soon your Z**** workout files into ERGdb and then sync them to TrainingPeaks. Check out this blog post how it all works and let us know what you think.https://ergdb.org/training-peaks-push-workouts/
