  1. I use the Cadence app on my iPhone as my bike computer while riding, and I would really like to see easier integration between Cadence and TrainingPeaks.

At the moment, when I have a structured workout in TrainingPeaks, I need to manually export/import files in order to use it in Cadence. This adds friction to what would otherwise be a very simple workflow.

Cadence is a very easy-to-use cycling app, and I believe many riders are already using it or would benefit from being able to send TrainingPeaks workouts directly to the app. Their website is: https://getcadence.app/

  2. I started a strength workout on a Tuesday, wasn't able to finish, then on Wednesday finished the remaining items and it says I did 22 hours of strength training and my dashboard is all out of whack. I cannot seem to modify the total time via the web or the app.

  3. It would be an extreme huge step forward if you add rowing to TrainingPeaks Virtual as the first platform that is dealing professionally with virtual bike riding (and maybe also running in the futer) and training.

  4. Adopting Critical Power as the standard for defining metabolic zones is justified by its superiority in delineating the true boundary between physiological equilibrium and fatigue accumulation, the mathematical robustness provided by the W' parameter, and greater test stability compared to the traditional 20-minute protocol. Far from rendering FTP obsolete, this standardization incorporates it as a derived reference, enabling training that is more precise, individualized, and scientifically aligned with current models of fatigue and performance.

  5. When you are creating a workout in the builder, if you get to the last step and Remove it, it changes all of the FTP Percentages that were just set. Super annoying whenever I forget this!

  6. Is it possible to create an AI coach assist on top of the functionalities you already have, so we have an AI model that take all data into consideration and make a recommended "new" plan including trainings from our own workout library?
Or even better also a AI assistent coach that can create new workouts based on training history for each athlete.
Both questions above would help us coaches to be more in interaction with our athletes in person, and I can see a lot of athletes "just" create their own plans with ChatGPT or similar. (And Tridot is already…

  7. Many times, the disclosure of zones in the “Workout Details” section of the Planning session is unnecessary information that only complicates understanding and adds unnecessary clutter to the reading. A button with the option to hide these zones, either within the session itself or in the athlete’s settings, would effectively address this issue.

  8. As a coach, can you PLEASE get rid of the athlete's fuelin' information that autopopulates into their workouts if they're using the app? Like, make it invisible for the coach if they want it gone. It makes my workspace really difficult to visually navigate, every time I have to navigate it, it's frustrating and it is not something that I personally am interested in seeing.

  9. I would love to see the ability to select multiple laps and view their combined statistics, similar to the functionality available in COROS Training Hub.

For example, after selecting several laps, TrainingPeaks could display:

    • Total time
    • Total distance
    • Average pace
    • Average heart rate
    • Average power
    • Elevation gain

This would make analyzing interval workouts much faster and eliminate the need to manually calculate the combined metrics for work intervals.

  10. Time in Zones for Selected Workout Section

It would be extremely useful to select any portion of a workout and view the time spent in each training zone (heart rate, pace, or power) for that specific section.

For example, after highlighting a section of the workout, TrainingPeaks could display a zone distribution chart showing:

    • Time in each heart rate zone
    • Time in each pace zone
    • Time in each power zone (if available)

This would make it much easier to analyze the intensity of specific workout segments, such as the main set, tempo blocks, or climbs, without being limited to the…

  11. Enable a structured workout in TP to match a ride's data even if the workout is paused temporarily mid ride (like to get through a stop light)... It really bothers me that my ride data doesn't match up to the structure

  13. One of my favorite features was being able to quickly see the total time and TSS from all activities on the calendar, including Strength workouts. The new design where it shows numbers of sets and numbers of exercises is really unfortunate. I know that I can still see the time and TSS if I click into the activity, but what's the point of having sets and exercises on the calendar view?

  15. need to be able to view as many weeks on one screen as the classic allowed up to 6 weeks. There now is no way to adjust that or a search for date option.

Controlling the number of weeks shown is no longer an option with the infinite scroll calendar. However, if you put the app in fullscreen mode the workouts go into a compact view mode. In this mode you can get 4-6 weeks visible depending on the number of workouts on the calendar. It is the button with the arrows on it, two down from the today button at the top.

  16. Be able to add a blank square to the dashboard to allow more organised groupings of charts by filling rows to the end.

  17. I want to customize my intervals for the peak power chart. For example, the current display does not show peak power for 3 minute or 8 minute durations. Yet, in Training & Racing with a Power Meter by Allen and Coggan 3-8 minute intervals are described as the VO2Max zone. I'd like the same customization abilities in a new fatigue profile chart too.

  18. I create workouts which are time trials and would like to be able to specify some steps as RPE and other steps as power, hr, pace based.

Currently the structured workout builder only allows for one specific primary unit for every setp in a workout, which is fine most of the time, but during time trial workouts, e.g. Cooper V02max tests, Critical Power tests, etc. The purpose of these tests is to establish or verify current best efforts, not to perscribe best effort goals or ranges.

My clients do a significant amount of testing throughout their training and it would…

  19. TP desperately needs a way for people to provide coach feedback and reviews. Same goes for the training plans. My wife got burned twice by working with incompetent and unreliable coaches. The same goes for the training plans they are publishing. Just because someone says they are a qualified coach, does not mean they have any clue as to what they are doing or creating.

  20. It would great if the laps and splits column chart could be enlarged. When there are lots of laps in an interval session, it is hard to easily analyze all the lap times. Something like Stravas model would be easier to read. This also goes for the the list data. It would be great to be able to expand and see the whole list if needed.
