  1. The charts show my HR or power in Z1, 2, etc., but I would like to manually enter the ranges in a chart so I can really see what a Z1, 2 entails. Yes, I could put this in a Note per week, but I would like to see it in with the charts. Thank you.

  2. I have lost 3-4 workout notes because I accidentally hit the back button (mobile) or the ESC key (web). The workout has closed, discarding what I've written without giving me a warning. I've started writing my workout notes in the Notes app on my phone / notepad on my computer and copying them into Training Peaks so I don't lose them accidentally.

Suggested fix: add a "you have unsaved changes" warning so I don't accidentally lose my workout notes.

  3. Request -Add a way to add the actual gears for the bike into TrainingPeaks (probably associated with a bike + wheel combination)?

Currently the Beta Charts include a "Front Gear" and "Rear Gear". These seem to be on the way to becoming the Front and Rear gearing. It would be great to be able to assign to Bike and separate Wheel combination - sometimes training with disc wheel that has different cassette to non-disc wheel.

Bonus - have the option to have a single chart with gear ratio (rather than two charts). This will simplify the number of charts required…

  5. The desktop version supports searching for workouts (the magnifier symbol right next to the refresh symbol). It would be convenient if it were available in the mobile version of TrainingPeaks on phones and tablets.

  6. As mentioned, sometimes it would be useful if you could just increase/decrease the intensity of a single workout step and every step afterwards jumps back to the 100%.

  7. The mobile app will force logout on a schedule that cannot be altered by the user. This creates repeating cases where the athlete attempts to open the app and is forced to login again. This is onerous when it occurs during an activity when the athlete is looking at the app for details of the workout.

Add a setting to control the duration of the automatic logout on the mobile app. Include an option to disable the automatic logout entirely.

  8. I usually export the .FIT file and then cnvert it into a .CSV to make my own Excel data analysis but it takes me a lot of time.
Wouldn't be possible to go straight from Training Peaks to a CSV?

  9. when adjusting notification settings for all my athletes, i should be able to see the athletes by group, such that i can adjust an entire group's notification settings at once. for example, i have a group of athletes that i am "casually coaching", where i don't necessarily need to be notified when they complete a workout or set a new threshold. but another group of athletes, i do need these notifications. and rather than memorize which athlete is what group, i'd like to adjust notification settings on a group basis, rather than an individual basis.
    thanks!

  10. I’m a skating coach and use TrainingPeaks to analyze and create training plans. In speed skating, we don’t have power meters to measure training load alongside heart rate data. However, we do have lap times measured with a transponder, and these lap times provide a good indication of training intensity, similar to how a power meter works in cycling.

I was wondering if it’s possible to use lap times as custom zones in TrainingPeaks, so that I can analyze what percentage of a training session was completed in each lap time zone, similar to speed zones in running or power…

  11. Regarding Strength
It would be very useful to be able to create an exercise library and also organize the exercises into folders for better differentiation.
For example: Plyometrics, Sprints, Upper Body Strength…, Mobility, Core… Being able to create your own exercise library and categorize them into folders. Additionally, for each exercise, it would be helpful to include "Parameters" for recovery or rest time.

  13. The Portuguese translation contains a very glaring and shameful error. The English words "Run" become "Executar," which in Portuguese (Brazil/Portugal) means the same as "to execute" or "to implement" in English. The correct translation in these cases would be "Corrida" (which means the activity of running). This needs to be corrected!

  14. Allow easier downgrade - do no remove the 'downgrade' button / link from left menu . Have it in same place as the 2 'Upgrade' links/buttons for a basic athlete

2 images attached to show the discrepancy

Do not require coaches to hunt around for the downgrade button in one of the payments / settings sections of TP.

It seems unfair or disingenuous to have 2 separate left menu upgrade links but not one downgrade on left menu . This was something that previously did exist.

Why not have the convenience of that link in the workflow when disconnecting or…

  15. When adding a workout of duration greater than 24hrs, it still shows only on that start date in the calendar - it should span the workout over whatever number of days needed based on start time of the workout (particularly useful for long distance bike riders).
Background: Typically we don't cut down the activity recording by day we just let it run (so we can't create a workout per 24hrs period).

  16. It would be nice to have the ability to select different unit system for different sports. For example, I use English units for my run log (mile, min/mile, ...) and I keep my swimming log under metric system (m, min/100m, ...
TrainingPeak's support confirmed with me that this is not possible with current version of TP. I really hope this can be included in future releases.

  17. Could TP remove the requirement to enter threshold power in order for NormPower to be calculated? Since threshold power is not a variable that's a part of the algorithm it's hard to understand why this is required. Not all coaches base their training or ranges around "Threshold" so it's a bit unclear as to why this must be done and would be helpful to not have to enter default data that does not have any bearing on the athlete just to use the NP functionality in the graphs.

  18. Being able to track nutrition by workout (calories / hydration per exercise) would be helpful. Especially for long workouts where nutrition planning is important.

  19. I generally work in statute units. But occasionally I would like information to be displayed within an individual workout in metric. The most common being when running on a track. (But also when swimming in a "meters" pool). I would like to be able to configure specific workouts to display in metric. (Bonus points if the distances can be metric, but speeds/paces in statute.)

  20. There should be a option to display peak power curve in NP rather than AP. I think this would be nice since i know many of my best efforts have been done with quite undulating terrain, which has resulted in a fair bit of discrepancy between my AP and NP for the effort (particularly during a long HC climb that includes a few descents) .
