  1. For mountain runners and skimo racers a peak VAM chart similar to the peak power and peak HR charts would be really useful. You could see your best VAM for varying durations and track improvements over time.

  2. I recently purchased a NoblePro treadmill which has the ability to export completed workouts back to Training Peaks.

It was be a great addition to be able to sync Training Peaks workouts back to Kinni (NoblePro's application) so I can then run those workouts on my treadmill without the need to make any adjustments manually during my run.

I'm not sure who would be responsible for making this happen but if you could work together with NoblePro on this it would be a game changer!

  3. This would be similar to how you can create folders for workouts. If you have many training plans across different disciplines is can be quite tedious to find the one you're looking for. With the addition of folders, you could group them by season or discipline and make it much easier to find what you're looking for.

  5. For swim workouts that have full HR data, the hrTSS seems to be a much better measure of workout intensity / fatigue than sTSS (swim TSS).

The ability to set swim workouts to either hrTSS or sTSS as a default would allow users to chose what works best for them, and not have to remember to adjust / change after the workout.

Currently, ALL Swim workouts default to sTSS.

I see this also shows up for trail running as well.

  6. Would it be possible to add a "SICKNESS/INJURY" option when you "+" to ADD A WORKOUT or ADD OTHER. It would be great if under "ADD OTHER" their was another option for "sickness/injury". This way you can add a note to a day if an athlete is injured or sick and easy to see especially when looking back over training. It would make it a lot easier to see rather than entering it as a note or as a "other" workout which is what you have to do now. Athletes already get multiple notes in their week on other things…

  7. In events add an option for gravel biking. This would be in addition to the categories already there (road, mountain, cyclecross...)

  8. When reviewing my planned workout, it would be very nice to see an estimated distance based on the est avg pace without having to do the calculation in my head or guess. Just helpful to see the rough distance so as to know which running route I will need to take to consumer the time within the workout plan

  9. No idea why my data can't be imported properly by TP. The tech people have been terrible with addressing this as power smoothing. But power smoothing 50-100+ watts for sustained intervals that aren't 5 second sprints? This is inexcusable for a paid service

  10. to se the weather forecast is already a great point
but would be even better to have the weather history o your workouts, or at least keep the weather history , it would be nice to see in history what was the weather when you have done your workout or race..

  11. Update: Seems this is really a Garmin issue. I can get the structured workouts from TrainingPeaks into Garmin Connect and it shows up on my calendar. But I see no way to select that workout and go through it on Tacx.

[Original] I would like to seamlessly upload a TrainingPeaks workout into the Garmin ecosystem so that I can use that workout on my Tacx Neo 2 trainer. I really enjoy the trainer and that I don't have to think so much about my workout (before I was watching the clock, the power, etc.) I've not found a way to…

  12. As a coach, I track what bike athletes use through the power meter device id available on WKO5. Can we have that on the TrainingPeaks web app?

  13. Since TrainingPeaks doesn't differentiate between open water and pool swims most devices including Garmin watches, only support importing structured workouts from TP in Pool swim mode. Seems to me we are missing a trick as the pool environment is already structured! Set distances, pool clock etc., and many swimmers (and coaches) prefer not to use a watch in the pool. However, when we go out outside, we lose the wall clock and the lap lengths. To avoid the common trap of falling into “mono-speed” swimming we still need to provide structure. I do this by setting the intervals on duration…

  14. Long synchronise times for the app regardless of internet connection speed (80Mbps+). Often waiting for and retrying synchronise attempts for a few minutes per use - even when using multiple times per day.
Surely save the majority of data locally? It appears to download all data everytime I open the app.

  15. I suggest dragging and deleting calendar cards if one drops them in the week summary area. That would decrease user clicks from three to one (maybe two if you keep the confirmation dialog).

  16. One an android mobile its not possible to log into the Training Peaks web application. It always redirects to the mobile app.
But with this behavior it's not possible to use features like adding equipment.

  17. I can view and edit tags on my workouts on desktop, but I don't see the tags in the Android app and certainly no option to edit them. This means that I have to remember to log in on my computer to edit the tags on my workouts instead of being able to do so right away on my phone. It is very inconvenient.

I have checked through support articles and searched online to see if I've overlooked this basic feature, but haven't found any resources. If it's already possible to do this please let me know. Thank you.

  18. HI Guys my I pad training peaks calendar has a glitch and shows the Monday activity on the Sunday and Sunday has gone. If I open training peaks on computer or phone no problem - it is as it should be.

  19. An easy glossary of initialisms/acronyms in the platform. They're not really clear and show up everywhere but don't lead back to an easy way to read about terminology like TSS.

  20. One of the recent updates forced the calendar URL link for exporting calendar to GMT rather than the local time zone. It can't be changed in Google calendar and so it shows up wrong on the calendar. This wasn't a problem until sometime earlier this year and I just figured out it wasn't me or my new phone.
