  1. Very often weights or a machine are being used and we need to swap the planned exercise for something similar. Like the BB bench is busy, so we can do DB bench press instead. Or we want to add something we didn't program previously.

  2. I'd like to create custom workouts like TPv default ones, which fluent ramp-up warm up phases. This seems not possible in the current workout builder. To do this with the given ramp-up option I need at least 5 steps, which seems cumbersome for configuration.

    Unfortunately, TP workouts are a lot less sophisticated than Zwift but I'd like to give TPv more chances. Having a fluent ramp-up option in the workout builder would be another missing part in the TP ecosystem!

  3. The equipment section in the Training Peaks mobile app is great for logging what gear we use for our workouts. However, a key piece of information is missing: the total distance accumulated on each item.

    Currently, if you want to check the mileage on something like your running shoes to know when to replace them, you have to go to the web version, navigate to settings, and find the information there. This is a clunky workaround that interrupts the mobile workflow.

  4. Dear all,

    how about offering the function of assigning different colours to different types of notes in the calendar view. Me, for example, I enter my home officce dates and periods where I have to travel for business purposes and other things into my calendar. Unfortunately, I cannot assign different colours to these notes and I do not see what will be going on the following week at the first glance. That`s quite a nuisance sometimes when I want to plan the following week.

  5. This has been an issue forever. Trainingpeaks only shows total "Elapsed Time". There is no option to even display actual "Moving Time" vs. "Elapsed Time". When a ride is synced to a workout, the Planned vs. Actual time is not quite accurate as it counts elapsed time towards the planned time, not moving time. There are many reasons why one would need to stop mid-ride - to fix a mechanical, relieve oneself, eat, change layers, or just wait up for riding buddies. This is true especially in long rides.

  8. TPV understands and plays .zwo files perfectly. This means TPV can already handle the <FreeRide> and <Ramp> instructions.
    However (as a coach) you normally create workouts with the TrainingPeaks WorkoutBuilder and have the athletes export them to the desired platform. Which is not even necessary with TPV.
    Unfortunately I have no way to mark an interval as "FreeRide" in the WB. This is necessary for all forms of tests e.g. FTP, max. efforts, etc., and "Ride by feel" sections.
    Not as much important are ramps. While we have fixed step intervals in the WB it would be nice to have…

  9. I would like to be able to assign substitutions or alternatives for strength exercises. I have many clients who all have various equipment available to them and are at different levels, strength wise. If I could put a variety of options for a specific exercise and allow them to pick which best fits their situation that would save me a lot of time and give them more flexibility. Another example would be I program chin ups, but I have a client who can’t do them so they could look at the alternatives and select inverted rose instead.

  11. The mobile app will force logout on a schedule that cannot be altered by the user. This creates repeating cases where the athlete attempts to open the app and is forced to login again. This is onerous when it occurs during an activity when the athlete is looking at the app for details of the workout.

    Add a setting to control the duration of the automatic logout on the mobile app. Include an option to disable the automatic logout entirely.

  12. Most computers and screens allow for 'dark mode' where the background is black and text is white. I have all my computers and screens set up this way and it's increasingly obvious how much harder Training Peaks is on my eyes vs other apps that switch to dark mode when that's the default setting for the computer. Allowing for this option would be a welcome improvement for many of us!

  13. The new Private Notes feature is great but can we make it more visually distinct from Post-activity Comments? I keep almost writing my shared comments in the new Private Notes box.

  14. Currently once you start a workout which has been created in the new strength workout builder, you cannot alter some of the key parameters (e.g. adding sets, merging to create supersets, etc). This kind of functionality is so useful (and is built into the free versions of apps like 'Strength Log'). It would be great to have this available as part of the TP version.

    Also not sure why you can only create the workout on the desktop app, and then only execute it on the mobile app?

  15. When I'm entering my weights into the strength workout screen, I can't enter decimal points, for example if I am using a 12.5kg dumbbell, I can only enter 12 / 13.

  16. New strength builder is a good step in right direction. However, basically every gym app has section for history/analytics where a user can easily check progression and different kind of graphs. We need that too.

    Also, it is a very easy task to look a few popular gym apps like Strong and see how history/analytics has been done. And what other features they have... ;)

  17. the 'overall fitness' graph on mobile is not rendering. The other graphs (e.g. completed duration) work fine, but the overall fitness time graph just shows an empty box. Would be great if we can fix this.

  18. Some things you can click outside of the secondary window and it goes away back to the calendar, like the workout analysis and the details but some don't, like the new ST workout and the advanced metrics. Clicking outside of the detail does nothing.

    And please remove the buggy new ST hovering menu. Most times you just pass the cursor in the calendar ST session and it opens a context that doesn't go away even if you roll the calendar up or down and we have to go back to that specific day to put the cursor in the workout…

  19. It would be nice to have a more advanced way of tracking gear, not the very simplistic bikes and shoes section
    For example, I would like to be able to add different components (chains, cassetes, tyres, forks, shocks, etc) and keep track of their wear
    Also, very important (Garmin also doesnt offer this) - the option to see total time for a specific component (very useful for service intervals for forks and shocks, also useful for users who wax their chains - i personally keep track of riding time for a waxed chain, so i know when it is time…

  20. As a coach I rely on emails to alert me on athlete activities and comments. Ideally comments could be placed at the top of the email, below the header, and with space optimized before "your athlete.., updates". In doing so, I would save time scrolling down on every single email update received.
