  1. Integrate Ai tools into TP. Your competitors are doing it! And we as coaches need it desperately. We are all using it. I know a few coaches are already using AI to help with coaching tasks.

    Some are copying athlete notes, workout history, training data, race goals, messages, and other bits of context into ChatGPT or Claude to create reports, spot patterns, summarize progress, write feedback, or just get help thinking through training decisions.

    Which makes total sense.

    The goal should be that coaches will be able to use tools like ChatGPT or Claude to work with your TrainingPeaks data…

  3. When my coach adds a note to a day - NOT on a workout, but just a note - I get a notification in the app, but when I click it, I'm taken to a blank note that I can write, not any note my coach left

  4. Modern Web sites and Web apps don't make users reload when there are updates. I see that TP Web app makes heavy use of AJAX, so it shouldn't be too hard to make this change to make TP Web app feel more "modern."

    I often keep TP Web app open in a browser tab for days at a time, but the "Today" highlight does not move, or new (relative to the last time when the page was loaded) training data from previous days don't show up automatically, unless I reload the Calendar page even if I am revisiting the browser…

  5. I used to be able to make workouts and save them in my library but I’m no longer given the option to save them in my library file. Is there a limit to that file or is that feature gone?

  6. I have created a new strength workout (mobility) in my calendar and planed it for today.
    Two issues the planed workout doesn't show up on my Apple Watch 10. So I did a regular strength workout on the Apple Watch.
    I am not able to pair the Apple Watch workout which TP was able to import to the planned strength workout. It doesn't offer the option.
    Can you add pairing for strength workouts.
    And can you make it possible to see a strength workout that was planned in TP in the apple workouts app.

  7. Why is it not possible to upload manual activities from Strava to TS?

    It would be great if manually entered entries in Strava were also automatically uploaded to TS. Then there would be no need to make duplicate entries.

  8. Allow for custom data analytics and chart creation, essentially ncorporate WKO5 into Training peaks, allowing easy access to charts to monitor aerobic efficiency, decoupling, and variability index

  9. MyZone is often used to track heart rate data during workouts. This data is useful to assist with analyzing heart rate during activity and can be compared to the metrics on a smart watch

  12. I love the idea of having goals or task show up on the calendar. BUT I hardly ever use them because you can't make them recurring. Often an athlete needs to remember to do something regularly that either doesn't have workout data or I don't want it to skew workout data.
    Currently I get around this by making it a one second workout but I'd much prefer these tasks being represented correctly.

  13. The ability to format font in both workout descriptions, and notes with Bold, Italics, Bullet points etc. Right now i have to use a bold font generator to copy and paste in and use "Option + 8" to get bullet points. Would be nicer if I could do it more seamlessly in one place.

  14. Problem

    Currently, the Strength Workout Builder defaults to imperial units (lb), even when:

    The user’s account settings are set to metric
    The endurance side of TrainingPeaks correctly operates in metric

    While it is possible to manually change units within individual exercises or workouts, this is not persistent and must be repeated each time.

    This creates a system-level inconsistency and repetitive manual overhead.

    Why This Matters (Practical Impact)

    For coaches operating in metric regions (Australia, UK, EU):

    Requires manual unit switching for every workout or exercise
    Introduces unnecessary cognitive load (constant kg ↔ lb awareness)
    Increases risk of programming errors

  15. With different power capture devices for both indoor and outdoor rowing we have discrepancies between training zone targets based on whether the athlete is training indoors or outdoors. Giving the athlete feedback on training zones is not possible unless we can update different zones based on activity subtype.

    This should be a very easy integration and hold value across multiple sport/activities.

  16. Bonjour,

    Proposition : afficher une petite icône « chaussure » dans chaque case du calendrier/agenda lorsqu’une paire a été renseignée pour la séance, à l’instar des icônes RPE ou État de forme.

    Contexte : il est possible d’enregistrer dans une séance quelle chaussure de son inventaire a été utilisée. Toutefois, cette information n’apparaît pas directement dans la vue calendrier : on peut voir le RPE et l’état de forme, mais pas la chaussure. Cela oblige à ouvrir chaque séance pour vérifier le matériel, rendant le suivi du parc de chaussures peu pratique.

  17. Die Einstellmöglichkeit über Training Peaks einen eigenen FTP für drinnen festzulegen, und mit diesem das Training mit TP Virtual gesteuert wird.

    Bei TP besteht die Möglichkeit für RR (CX) und MTB unterschiedliche FTP einzugeben aber nicht für Indoor.

  18. currently there is an option to use GPX routs in events but would it be possible to have an extension from the GPX routes from the scheduled events to the trainings options so you can train on your own routes and prepare for real live competitions in "zen mode" while doing scheduled trainings without setting an event and having the option to ride your own route when ever you need

  19. I keep experiencing a pop-up encouraging me to sign up to Premium when I try and move a planned session in the calendar view. If I don't sign up to buy then I can't move my session. It is very annoying....can you please stop this from happening.

  20. In my view, TrainingPeaks could become one of the most comprehensive platforms if options for monitoring and quantifying strength training load were added. In particular, I am thinking about the following features:
    • The ability for coaches to record RIR or RPE for strength exercises
    • The addition of tools to track strength training volume, such as total tonnage, number of repetitions, or combined metrics (tonnage × repetitions)
    • The integration of options that support velocity-based training

    These enhancements would, in my opinion, make the application highly attractive within the broad training-platform market by providing a more complete and accurate…
