  1. TrainingPeaks tracks everything that builds fitness, but nothing that breaks it. I'd like to see injury tracking added as a first-class data type, not a metric comment buried in the calendar.

    Four parts:

    1. A dedicated injury entry type. Log an injury via a visual body map plus a structured body-part list (so it's selectable data, not free text). Each entry holds detailed descriptors, rehab methods, and attachments from a physio or medical professional, all in one place on the calendar.

    2. A daily pain score out of 10. The entry repeats daily, so the athlete logs where the injury is at…

  2. Hi TrainingPeaks team,

I'm a triathlon coach and write my sessions directly in the workout description field. This field currently only supports plain text, which makes structured sessions hard to read — particularly for athletes in the mobile app.

Request: Markdown support in the workout description (headings, bold/italic, bullet and numbered lists, links) plus a preview of the rendered text before saving. The Jira description editor is a good reference — formatted editing, a raw/Markdown view, and a preview of the final result.

Example of what I'd like to write today:

    Warm-up
    - 10 min easy, Z1-Z2
    - 3x 20s…

  3. Good morning.

It would be very helpful to include a search function for weeks/days and sessions in the training plan builder.

It's quite tedious to constantly scrolling down through weeks when you're reviewing and/or using existing plans to copy them for an athlete.

    Thanks.
    David.

  4. If TP is synced with TP Virtual, why can't athletes ***** their ride directly in TP Virtual when the ride is finished? That would make it easier for coaches to gather subjective data from their roster.

  5. Once the workout file is (auto) uploaded trainingpeaks could send a mobile app push notification to the athlete to say -> your workout is uploaded -> COMMENT!

in other apps I am testing as alternatives to training peaks in 2026 this is a very effective way of increasing engagement with athletes . The frequency and consistency of comments increases hugely .

  7. A lot of multisporters are training for kayaking so it would be usefulto be able to log it as kayaking, not "other." I know there is a subcategory, but this seems pretty useless, as I still can't see kayaking on my summary.

  8. For the past few months, when I want to edit a note and change the date, clicking on the calendar only allows me to change it for the current month, and doesn't let me change it to another month. This is very inconvenient, and it used to work fine. This only happens on the web.

  9. Using 360, Analyze, Laps -When your analysis tool detects intervals in a workout, it would be great if those detected intervals that auto-populate the fields (power and/or heart rate) - also had planned - for comparion- similar to what you have in the overlay graph.

It would also help to be able to export that table (detected intervals plus planned power/HR) to Excel, so coaches can revie

  10. Don’t show ads for subscribers.

I just got an ad for “free ride August 4”. I don’t know what it’s about, but I pay for this app and I didn’t opt into ads.

  11. I’m not a big user of Stack Up as mainly interested in in my own progress (or not) but where I find somewhat useful is relative ranking over time as I age as a masters athlete. 2 UX items make it clumsy
    - would be helpful to have the chosen filters displayed so one knows what one is seeing
    - persistence in filters chosen, as seems to revert to default (and nor relevant ) values each time I move away from the app

These are both simple software fit and finish gaps that probably were probably scoped out in the…

  12. On the TP website it is in the strength workout type not visible (in the calander) if any comments or training feedback (RPE) are not visible as in other workout types. In the app it is visible as always.

  14. Now that the merger has happened, it would be great if Training Peaks Virtual rides could be automatically synced into Garmin Connect. Under the current system, I have to do a manual upload of my TPV data into Garmin and then it syncs back to Training Peaks giving me a redundant entry on my calendar.

  16. Enable a structured workout in TP to match a ride's data even if the workout is paused temporarily mid ride (like to get through a stop light)... It really bothers me that my ride data doesn't match up to the structure

  17. On the summary tab for a planned workout, you can hover over the intervals in the workout builder and it'll tell you the planned time and rpe/pace, etc. It would be really cool if when you complete the workout the lap data would be fed into the hover. It would be a much easier way to see how you executed the workout in my opinion. Screenshot of suggested functionality attached.

  18. I'm currently using John J Davis' excellent book Marathon Excellence for Everyone for my training plans. However, he uses percent of 5K pace and percent of marathon pace extensively in all of his plans.

I can easily enough create those custom pace zones (for example, my 5k pace is 4:24/km, and my marathon pace is 4:56/km). However, if I want to create a workout at 85% of 5k pace, I have to manually tweak the percent of threshold pace until I get to the right value, rather than just choosing my 5k pace as the baseline, and then selecting 85%.

  19. I'd like the ability, when building a structured workout, to assign a specific TrainingPeaks Virtual course from the existing course library (not just a custom GPX upload) directly to that workout. Then, when I open TrainingPeaks Virtual and select my scheduled workout for the day, it would automatically load the correct course from the library, along with my structured erg targets, rather than requiring me to manually search for and select the course myself.

This would let structured training plans and TrainingPeaks Virtual work together seamlessly, saving time and reducing setup friction for athletes who use Virtual regularly for indoor…

  20. Time in Zones for Selected Workout Section

It would be extremely useful to select any portion of a workout and view the time spent in each training zone (heart rate, pace, or power) for that specific section.

For example, after highlighting a section of the workout, TrainingPeaks could display a zone distribution chart showing:

    • Time in each heart rate zone
    • Time in each pace zone
    • Time in each power zone (if available)

This would make it much easier to analyze the intensity of specific workout segments, such as the main set, tempo blocks, or climbs, without being limited to the…
