  1. Add the option to write in a comment during a workout. Within the lift function id like to be able to annotate specifics about what I did, such as altering the exercise. You can add comments before and after the workout but I want to add info for the specific exercise I’m doing at the time.

  2. In the TP workout builder, I can either select a target FTP or FTP range. It'd be nice if I could just write a target power in mind. Right now, I have to fiddle around with the target FTP ranges until I get the power range I want, and I'd rather just input the power myself (e.g. 150-200 watts)

  3. As a coach with an unlimited subscription, there shouldn't be a restriction on my account because my athletes are on basic subscriptions. The limited notifications from the basic athletes is a real pain. I have to go into each account to see if a comment was left. This information should be pushed to me regardless of my athlete's subscription status. I should also have full access to their training metrics.

  4. I’d like to request that TrainingPeaks stop automatically adding average pace to RPE-based runs. I use RPE specifically for prescribing trail runs, where pace is highly dependent on the route and terrain. However, the system keeps adding an average pace, which is not relevant in these cases.

Manually deleting the pace is time-consuming, and it often reappears anyway. While I advise my athletes to ignore it, some still see it as a target, which defeats the purpose of using RPE. At this point, it feels like I may as well prescribe pace instead, which I want to avoid for the…

  5. I know this may be a bit 1990's but I'd love to be able to make a print out of the Strength Workout schedule out to take into the gym with me. I can then make comments on the page using a 1970's gadget that I think used to be called a pen and update my workout using the app afterwards.

Notes like "bailed after 8 reps" or "next time use same weight for both sets" are much easier with a pen and paper. many thanks.

  6. Training Peaks is such a great platform for coaching multiple athletes and helping coaches to make a living.

The key to coaching athletes is to help them in achieving their goals in their events.

Right now, there is no feature that shows the coach all of their clients' events in one place. It would be extremely helpful to have a calendar view for all events for all athletes to ensure coaches don't miss any events. Currently, you would have to mark all of your athletes' events on another platform's calendar. With how dynamic athletes shift or cancel events, having all…

    Like this< sander, mark, judith

Mark is shown. You can pres judith and its teh next, you can press sander and its the previous.

    Good luck.

  9. Is there a way to view the peak power(s) in a lap or retrospectively added section? I’d like to compare a series of efforts but by their 12 and 20 sec power rather than purely peak power. For example, if I were to highlight a 15 minute section, the peak powers (HRs etc) would be from that section only, not the whole workout.

  12. For swim workouts, I would like the equipment option to be pool type (25m/50m/25y/OWS) rather than shoe. I could add these as shoe types, but then I would see them every time I enter a run as well. I don't see much use for shoe type under a swim anyway.

  13. My peak power graph in dashboard shows grey and purple in the legend (last 3 months versus last 2 years) but in the graph itself both lines are purple, one being darker than the other, with no grey in there at all.

  14. I'm not sure how to incorporate this, but including sleep hours/quality into the TSS calculation would give a more accurate assessment of fatigue level and help guide training choices.

I think what you are looking for is a way to incorporate other factors in to the TSB calc, but then it would not be Training Stress Balance anymore. HRV is another metric that you may find useful as well. We plan to add HRV as a metric in the future. Currently you can plot sleep metrics on the PMC in our mobile apps. This blog post briefly touches on that:

  16. May I suggest a stepped reverse log scale for the time axis to display the PMC?

Daily for the most important last 28-60days,
    Weekly for the preceding quarter,
    Monthly for the preceding year
    Quarterly back 5-6 years
    Annual beyond that.
    (Or something along those lines)
This gives us a way to look at where we are coming from, without sacrificing the detail of the recent history.

Some if us have been w TP for many years and I certainly like like to look back, comparing my fitness progress to previous training bouts.

  17. When working with track/road sprinters and cyclocross riders, I have found that knowing and having hub/crank/bb torque values is very helpful in making sure the riders have the instant start power they need to be successful in some events. Can the online version have an estimate like the desktop WKO? Thanks!!!!

  18. Current metrics only work for endurance sessions and a really hard strength workout on the bike can give very low figures for TSS, IF and calories. This affects the graphs for CTL, ATL and make it more difficult to assess a race taper.

There are multiple options for syncing Apple Health data to TrainingPeaks. This blog article lists some of the more popular apps.
    https://www.trainingpeaks.com/blog/how-to-use-trainingpeaks-with-your-apple-watch/

The HealthFIt app is probably the most robust of the syncing apps, as it supports these 13 wellness metrics:
    - HRV
    - RHR
    - Steps
    - Sleeps (hours and numberTimeWoken)
    - body weight
    - body fat
    - bmi
    - spo2
    - blood pressure
    - water consumption
    - Insulin delivery
    - blood glucose
    - menstruation
