Easily reorder workouts in a day (current bug)
This is a very simple but frustrating issue. When I'm trying to reorder workouts in a day (say a warm up, session and cool down, or a morning session and an evening session) more often than not, the workout will be copied rather than reordered, so then I just end up with two duplicate workouts in the wrong place. I can drag and drop things around, but then they don't necessarily drop where they're supposed to. This is extremely frustrating for what should be a simple fix.

custom workout editor block
Allow us to Customize the Workout Editor Blocks...the ones you can drag in place when creating a workout. Let the user decide the default Power %, number of steps, Duration of blocks, etc. ie right now, "Active" is 10min at 70-80%...let us change that.

Set workout "unit" per block not workout
When putting together a workout such as an interval run, I want to be able to chase the hard intervals, which have a specific pace target or range, with an RPE based recovery.
This would also be applicable for warm ups and cool downs for which I don't want to commit to a fixed pace weeks or months in advance3 votes -

Integrate MyZone data into Training Peaks
MyZone is often used to track heart rate data during workouts. This data is useful to assist with analyzing heart rate during activity and can be compared to the metrics on a smart watch

Have a Notes History for Strength Movements.
I have a lot of clients that use the notes on their strength portion of the app. However, they have asked if possible to have a notes for each exercise, and be able to access that via history. The example is if they needed to use a red band for an exercise, there's no real great way to annotate that and be able to search that for next time. Or if they had to modify an exercise, it'd be nice to have a notes section next to the exercise, and the history, so they can see what they did the…

Save Training plans
I'd love to be able to save training plans I'm interested in, but not ready to buy for comparison or later purchase!

Pair Planned Strength Workouts with Garming Strength Workouts
It's terrible that strength workouts from garmin cannot be synced with the new strength tool. I understand there are probably data limitations but without syncing it's double counting the workout and losing data if I delete one or the other. I'm going to just go back to logging my reps in a separate app but it would be nice if I could integrate all here in TP.

Event/Race Calendar - multiple athlete overlay
Event Calendar
A feature that would be really helpful for coaches would be an Event Calendar view. The ability to view upcoming races/events across multiple athletes on a single calendar, with the option to overlay selected athletes, would make it much easier to track race schedules, plan training blocks, and identify athletes targeting similar events. This could be especially useful for managing group communication, race-specific content, camps, and shared preparation for key races throughout the season.
I think this would add real value for coaches managing multiple athletes.

Remove useless user tracking api calls
Please remove the call to https://api.iterable.com/api/users/update; it blocks mouse activity for 25 seconds after the page loads. It completely ruins the user experience. During that time, I can’t view or create a workout. The Facebook follower feature also throws errors. These should be optional. The privacy policy also makes no mention of iterable or what data is sent to third parties.

Enable Planned Work (kJ) calculation for the Mtn Bike sport type
Currently in the Structured Workout Builder, Planned Work (kJ) is only calculated when the sport type is set to "Bike". Switching the exact same workout to "Mtn Bike" causes the kJ field to go blank — even when FTP is configured for Mtn Bike Power and the workout is built in % FTP with Target intensity. Planned TSS and IF still calculate correctly in both cases; only kJ is affected.
This was confirmed with TP Support (Anthony H.) and is not currently documented as a known limitation.
Why this matters: for athletes who genuinely train and race on MTB —…

Myfitness pal sync should include if the day has been marked complete
The sync with Myfitnesspal should include whether I've marked the day as "complete" or not, in Training Peaks. Its not possible for my coach (or myself) to determine if I've fully logged a day in my fitness pal when I look at my training calendar.

Athlete onboarding questionnaire and weekly availability module
I would love to see TrainingPeaks introduce a more complete athlete onboarding system directly inside the platform.
Currently, many coaches have to rely on external tools like Google Forms, Notion, Typeform, PDFs, or onboarding calls to collect basic athlete information before starting a program.
It could be extremely useful to have a built-in “Athlete Intake/Profile” section where athletes complete a structured questionnaire during onboarding.
This could include:
Anthropometric data
Sports background and experience level
Available equipment
Work/lifestyle information
Nutrition and recovery habits
Injury history or limitations
Goals and target races
Psychological/sport mindset questionsBut the most valuable addition, in my…

Add Estimated Duration for Strength Workouts and Distance for Run Sessions
It would be very useful to have an estimated duration for strength training workouts and an estimated distance for running workouts (walking/running), so that athletes and coaches can better plan and understand sessions more easily.

Injury tracking with a daily pain score and PMC overlay
TrainingPeaks tracks everything that builds fitness, but nothing that breaks it. I'd like to see injury tracking added as a first-class data type, not a metric comment buried in the calendar.
Four parts:
A dedicated injury entry type. Log an injury via a visual body map plus a structured body-part list (so it's selectable data, not free text). Each entry holds detailed descriptors, rehab methods, and attachments from a physio or medical professional, all in one place on the calendar.
A daily pain score out of 10. The entry repeats daily, so the athlete logs where the injury is at…

Live automatic update of training zones with real workout data using the different connected smartwatches.
When athletes use a smartwatch, set a feature that allows trainingpeaks to update the HR, speed, pace and power zones of athletes. Possibly allow coaches to activate, deactivate this function for all athletes or selected athletes. Allowing to for example update once a month or every 3 months.

Multi-day calendar entry
Add custom option when using date ranges similar to Availability. For example to add in travel, away from home, marking multi-day races etc. Rather than using the single entry, copy/paste which is hard to use - add in colour options to distinguish different types user decides. This would be simpler than ical integration but do the same thing. I often have to mark things which span several days but may or may not have anything to do with availability - away from home, training camps, exams, period, team trips. Often these are reminders to share with the coach. Example…

Clear Notification on Click
When I click a new notification (and go to the thing it has notified me about) it should indicate that notification is no longer new.
Now I go back to my notifications, and I don't know which one I just read, and which is actually new.

TrainingPeaks Integration for the Cadence App (Access to your API)
I use the Cadence app on my iPhone as my bike computer while riding, and I would really like to see easier integration between Cadence and TrainingPeaks.
At the moment, when I have a structured workout in TrainingPeaks, I need to manually export/import files in order to use it in Cadence. This adds friction to what would otherwise be a very simple workflow.
Cadence is a very easy-to-use cycling app, and I believe many riders are already using it or would benefit from being able to send TrainingPeaks workouts directly to the app. Their website is: https://getcadence.app/
From what I…
