  1. Hello,
Firstly I'd like to tell you I'm quite new to Training Peaks and it's been a revelation. Being focus on the essential, and having a clear view on the calendar & workouts is absolutely great. (unlike strava or garmin where it's messy. Also, all these useless badges don't help at all).
I enjoy every component on Training Peaks and it really helped me reach a next step in training and sport overall.

Using a lot the calendar an pre-made workouts I realized something was kind-of missing I'll try to explain it :
    -When you have a pre-made workout on…

  2. I sometimes have a short sleep in the afternoon or after work. Or sometimes before an event, I might have short sleep. That makes my watch detect and send more than one sleep record to TP via HealthFit.
I would like to see sleep hours by day, so I will know if I have enough sleep in this period (a week or a month...). Separating the record will make me confused if I don't have enough sleep in that day.

  4. Integrate Hydrow rower output directly in TP. Hydrow already uploads automatically into Strava. Can we work with Hydrow to also upload directly into TP.

  5. Why not be able to search for workouts by workout file name?
Here's the thing. I just submitted a support/help case for this because when trying to manually upload a .FIT file to the website, it tells me the .FIT file has been uploaded successfully, however, it doesn't "Pair" with the planned structured workout for the day, nor do I even see the file anywhere. And when I try to upload the file again, it tells me that it's already been uploaded. The catch? I have no idea where that file landed on the calendar. And I can't even search…

  7. Elevation Gain and Elevation Loss are not currently included in the items exported with the Workout Summary CSV Export feature. These are fundamental indicators of a completed workouts difficulty and would be very helpful to have included.

  8. When looking at summary info on a workout, it would be nice to see kJ of work without clicking through and expanding the workout to a full-screen view. This summary info could be useful. It's great that it shows on the weekly summary tab, but having it posted on unexpanded workout blocks, or on the partially expanded screen would be great for increasing efficiency.

  10. I currently subscribe to my Training Peaks calendar through my Apple calendar and share this subscription with my wife so she can see when I am training. In Training Peaks I would typically set a swim workout start time of 06:30 with duration of 30mins. This 30mins is typically the time I plan to be actually swimming (excluding rests) which is absolutely the information I want to record against my ATP. However in reality I will be in the pool for 50-60 mins, and if I also factor in travel time to and from the pool, getting changed etc. the…

  11. Currently when you search the Workout library you can only sort by Title A-Z, Title Z-A, and type. I would like the ability to sort by:

    • Distance High to Low
    • Distance Low to High
    • TSS High to Low
    • TSS Low to High
    • Time High to Low
    • Time Low to High

While filtering helps, sorting would also make it better.

  12. There are already a number of requests in this forum to enhance the ability to enhance the ability to auto-assign and track the equipment used for activities.

While most suggestions focus on individual use cases (e.g., wheel sets), I propose a more general approach:

Please add different equipment types or a "other equipment" category. This would allow us to track the use of not only a pre-set equipment type (like e.g. wheels) but chains, cassettes, tires, helmets (e.g. UV exposure), smart trainers, etc.

Additionally, please enable us to set default equipment based on activity types, eg. one shoe for running…

  13. My idea/proposal is to be able to create a 'Master' workout, then if you copy this workout and place it in your calendar say 10 times (secondary workouts) when you make a change/update to the master workout this is automatically pushed through to all the secondary workouts. Currently I believe you would need to edit each of the 10 workouts individually.
A further development of this concept would be to have recurring workouts, with perhaps the possibility to increase volume/intensity by X% for each occurence to fit in with periodisation.

  14. Simple 2x2 widget for the Home Screen that displays the big 3 metrics (CTL - Fitness, ATL - Fatigue & TSB - Form).

When a workout synchs to the TP app in the background the widget will update.

Possibly customisable for larger widgets to include more data? 🤷🏽‍♂️

  15. I love your new feature named “Available “ but it only allows you to be “unavailable.” Athletes travel for work, training, and or races and coaches need to be informed. The “availability” option should allow an athlete to input their status in this box. This would allow more communication between athlete and coach.

  16. Having used both apps side by side for weeks, I find MyNetDiary to be a cleaner faster UI than My Fitness Pal. I find the MND accuracy at least as good if not better than MFP. I find in fitness threads that MND has a userbase that is not being recognized, and many of these users want TP integration. I think overall almost every athlete at this point wishes for ONE platform that will capture any and all the metrics that athlete wants to measure and that all the athletes preferred vendors would just sync and share this information. I…

  17. Garmin recently updated some of their Forerunner devices to enable users to enter Self Evaluation data during the save of the activity just completed. Two values are asked for: perceived effort (scale: 0-10) and how you felt (5 point scale from Very Weak to Very Stong).

These seem to map directly to what TrainingPeaks has had as an activity setting for years already.

Is there any plan in place to automatically set the values in TrainingPeaks during sync of activity data from Garmin Connect?

This sure would make life easier for TrainingPeaks users who are also Garmin device users (a…

  19. So with the new updates from Garmin for their 245,745, 945 (and Fenix?)

After finishing a prescribed workout - the watch are now asking for the precevied effort and how you felt - I understand these new values are stored / saved within the .fit file.

Could TP look at importing these new values and matching to the values stored on TP workouts?

Thank you for the feedback. This is a common request and has been added to that project’s feedback.

Future opportunities have not been added to our road map yet, but we are actively collecting feedback which contributes to the prioritization process. We do not want to set up false expectations and want to make sure that there is awareness that this update currently is not prioritized and does not have an ETA.

  20. A sync with Oura Ring can help TP’s take into consideration sleep time and quality, HRV, Resting heart rate and recovery status. A sync with Hyperice can help TP’s take into consideration recovery modalities used by the user and adjust the fatigue and stress scores accordingly. Both can help to avoid overtraining and or give overtraining alert suggestions based on data pulled from Oura and Hyperice.
