  1. Modernize the file system and user interface associated with workout library management so we can do basic functions as follow:

Drag and drop workouts from one library into another in bulk to ease library restructuring. Just like you can with regular widows files and folders.

Also allow this for SHARED libraries as well so you can pick and choose shared workouts to add to your personal libraries.

Current functionality involves manually adding and saving each workout into a different library and is terribly cumbersome. As you get more mature in your coaching re structuring your library is inevitable.

We just released a few improvements to your workout libraries. You can now rename your libraries as well as move/copy workouts between libraries. Thanks for you suggestions and patience on this!

  2. Update current API integration of Garmin health:
Garmin is collecting various health data points which could be enabled in TP software these are:
    1.Steps.
    2.Intensity Minutes.
    3.Sleeping data.
    4.Stress.
    5.Hydration.
    6.Calories.
    7.HRV.
    8.Heart rate.
    9.Pulse Ox
    10.Body battery.
    11.Respiration.
    12.Body composition.
    13.RMR.
And make them update at the same time.

  5. Things that need addressing in order to bring Beta up to the functionality available in Classic:

    • Add a Peak Power Chart to the Beta daily view, so an athlete has the ability to make comparisons of that daily session upload (pink line) against the Historical PB's (Peak Power Chart grey area), just like Classic. And like Classic, allow the athlete to select the timeline comparison between the session Peak Power vs. Historical PB's via the Option button.

    • Add the ability to overlay HR Zones in Beta Map & Graph view, just like Classic.

    • Add the ability in Beta Map &…

  6. Allow metrics cards to be merged together automatically.

I have several devices reporting metrics (e.g. an Oura ring upload sleep data, my Withings scale uploads weight data, etc), but each of these devices creates its own metrics card with potentially repeated data. ITs not obvious which one I should add subjective metrics too then (subjective fatigue etc).

Training peaks should allow me to combine metrics cards automatically so I get one card per day with the metrics from that day.

  7. Apple watch integration needs to be improved. Syncing workouts to Traningpeaks does not work proper. With the latest Apple watch ultra announcement workout sharing from Trainingpeaks to Apple watch is needed more than ever. Not possible at the moment. Ideally there is a watch app to do this whole syncing. Similar to the Stryd app which works flawless.

  8. Saturday.fit is a new workout nutrition app from Dr. Alex Harrison, PhD Sport Physiology & Performance
Saturday Morning LLC. This app calculated optimal pre and intra-workout nutrition plans, and it would be great if they could get api access to allow for automation of nutrition planning based on my upcoming workout and race schedule.

  10. I would like to bring back the topics of improving the Strength Training Interface on TP. Strength training is a core tenet of endurance training and is a huge part of my coaching practice. Training Peaks is easily the industry standard apart from the strength training. Having the ability to enter sets/reps on a particular exercise as well as being able to track improvements over time within the app on similar exercises would be a phenomenal.

Please consider adding this feature as it would no doubt be a game changer for users and coaches. Thank you.

  11. I would like to see paddle sprots added as a workout type. This workout type would be able to cover

    Outrigger Paddling
    Standup paddleboard
    K1
    C1
    Kayaking
    Canoeing
    Dragon Boat
    Whitewater Rafting
    Surf Ski
    Paddleboarding

Training Peaks is used for more than Bike, Run, Swim. I heard a podcast with Dirk Friel recently and he stated "Other" was the largest growing sport sector currently. Adding a general "Paddle Sport" would allow you to enable a lot of functionality across all of the sport types I listed making TrainingPeaks great for water endurance sports.

Also to note, your competitor Final Surge,…

  13. A sync with Oura Ring can help TP’s take into consideration sleep time and quality, HRV, Resting heart rate and recovery status. A sync with Hyperice can help TP’s take into consideration recovery modalities used by the user and adjust the fatigue and stress scores accordingly. Both can help to avoid overtraining and or give overtraining alert suggestions based on data pulled from Oura and Hyperice.

  14. Please provide a printing option on the new platform. As of now I have not been able to print anything and need to go back to the "classic" version to print my weekly workouts.

On July 29, 2015 we released numerous improvements when printing the calendar. You should notice that the formating looks a lot better. Plus, only the weeks in view will print now. So if you size your browser so that only one week is showing, that should be the only week that prints. If you want to print as many weeks as possible, you can put the calendar in compact mode to so that more weeks are shown and therefore printed.

One thing to note, is if you resize your browser to get just the right number of weeks showing, you may need to scroll the calendar once to get it locked in on the weeks you want to print.

We also improved printing for the Quick View, so you can take your workouts with you. Next week we will release improvements when printing the ATP.

  15. O think it will be very useful for coach account to have in training peaks the local previous weather. It can help a lot a coach to take good decisions and save a lot of time instead of looking previous in other website. i think it will not be a problem because you can do it with Best bike split or my wind sock...
Exemple in the planning add an icon previous weather sync with the city of the athletes in his settings.
    Best regards
    Emmanuel

  16. The "old" system allowed for coaches to make notes that could only be seen by the coach and not the athlete.

Can we or will we have this ability in the Beta/New platform?

Check out our new Coach Home view where you can store your athlete notes.

  17. The Zone setting functionality is fine but what I miss is history. Say we have a table that would record each time we reset our Threshold value ,whichever an athlete is using (Power,Heart...),basically a history of Threshold tests, possibly with weight as well. That would be neat.

  18. I know that a new workout creator tool is going to be developed for the web/desktop platform. But I would like to suggest that TrainingPeaks uses something similar to the TrainerRoad's one. As a coach it's really a lot of work to write PERSONALIZED power workouts based on their current FTP and race specifics. I have developed a Excel spreadsheet that helps but still...

You can now see estimated TSS when you create a planned workout and enter duration and IF.

  20. The workflow to upload files to training peaks is unwieldily. It would make more sense to me if workouts were uploaded automatically when detected. I was going to do this myself with a folder action in Mac OS X. Garmin Connect does it by using a browser plugin.

I suspect that there is a way a more clever programmer could use the easy upload link service to script this action, but I'm not quite knowledgable enough to do that.

All that I really need is a way to script uploading a file, Mac OS will take care of the rest.…
