  1. It would be very useful the possibility of customizing period names in ATP programming (other that base 1, race, ...) for Premium Athletes that are themselves coaches.

  2. I'd love to see a workout components library functionality. Meaning, I'd like to have a library of things like spin ups, strides, warm up routines, over/unders, etc that I can drop into a workout as I'm building it.

  3. In TrainingPeaks Virtual, when doing any type of group ride it would be nice if we had the ability to ride in a two line paceline or roll turns.

  4. After completing a structured workout and reviewing in the mobile app, the workout structure is not shown in the graphs, only my data. I can only see this on a web client. I can’t check my performance against target as a result.

  5. Gym strength workouts are underpowered compared to other gym apps
    - ability to modify a workout during execution eg to substitute one set for another
    - populate weight and rep count with last achieved
    - recommend new weight and rep count based upon analysis of history
    - show me strength by muscle group and how this is changing
    - show me equivalent 10 rep capability for each set

  7. I have been using TP for 4 years and with the latest updates it seems like outdoor workouts no longer can be seen on a map when using the app on a computer. I can still see them on my iPhone. Why is that? Is it a setting/knowledge thing on my side or a deliberate feature?

  11. In event imports form gpx with larger routes it s difficult (for me) to associate the virtual route with the real route.
    So the solution could be to add markers visible in tpv via the type (type), comment (cmt) or description (desc) tag of gpx nodes.
    Virtual crossroads to enhance the minimap or text notifications could be also helpful.

    I thing this is much easier to implement than a full world building map editor.

  12. I would like to be able to sort my peak paces by time, as well as distance. For instance, Joe Friel uses a 20 minutes time trial to set pace and heart rate zones, it would be good to filter that to see my other peak 20 minutes efforts.

  13. I’m a skating coach and use TrainingPeaks to analyze and create training plans. In speed skating, we don’t have power meters to measure training load alongside heart rate data. However, we do have lap times measured with a transponder, and these lap times provide a good indication of training intensity, similar to how a power meter works in cycling.

    I was wondering if it’s possible to use lap times as custom zones in TrainingPeaks, so that I can analyze what percentage of a training session was completed in each lap time zone, similar to speed zones in running or power…

  14. Need a workaround that would allow you to automatically convert all of your structured sessions and apply your custom zone mappings at scale.
     
    While you can change the target type (pace, HR, power) for individual steps within a workout this action does not intelligently translate the intensity based on a coach's specific zone settings. For example pace does not equat to power zone etc.

  15. Hello everyone,
    in the dashboard there are performance statistics such as the power profile.
    I’m 65 years old, and in this profile my results look quite weak.
    However, Garmin shows that my performance is actually within the top 5% in my age cathegory.
    Wouldn’t it make sense for these charts to reflect age categories, similar to how it’s done at the UCI Masters World Championships?

  16. Some things you can click outside of the secondary window and it goes away back to the calendar, like the workout analysis and the details but some don't, like the new ST workout and the advanced metrics. Clicking outside of the detail does nothing.

    And please remove the buggy new ST hovering menu. Most times you just pass the cursor in the calendar ST session and it opens a context that doesn't go away even if you roll the calendar up or down and we have to go back to that specific day to put the cursor in the workout…

  17. It would be nice to have a more advanced way of tracking gear, not the very simplistic bikes and shoes section
    For example, I would like to be able to add different components (chains, cassetes, tyres, forks, shocks, etc) and keep track of their wear
    Also, very important (Garmin also doesnt offer this) - the option to see total time for a specific component (very useful for service intervals for forks and shocks, also useful for users who wax their chains - i personally keep track of riding time for a waxed chain, so i know when it is time…

  18. As a coach I rely on emails to alert me on athlete activities and comments. Ideally comments could be placed at the top of the email, below the header, and with space optimized before "your athlete.., updates". In doing so, I would save time scrolling down on every single email update received.

  20. Why can you not see a ATP weekly TSS or Hrs in the athletes training plan. It's frustrating these are not linked and you have to keep referring to both, very inefficient.

    What we need is a weekly total visible in the athletes training plan as its shown in their calendar
