Want to be able to search notes
Want to be able to search notes. For example, I use notes to track illnesses and odd symptoms. I'd like to be able to generate a list of those over a time interval.

Recurring goals
I love the idea of having goals or task show up on the calendar. BUT I hardly ever use them because you can't make them recurring. Often an athlete needs to remember to do something regularly that either doesn't have workout data or I don't want it to skew workout data.
Currently I get around this by making it a one second workout but I'd much prefer these tasks being represented correctly.6 votes -
Why is it not possible to upload manual activities from Strava to TS?
Why is it not possible to upload manual activities from Strava to TS?
It would be great if manually entered entries in Strava were also automatically uploaded to TS. Then there would be no need to make duplicate entries.

Provide ability to specify indoor and outdoor rowing power zones
With different power capture devices for both indoor and outdoor rowing we have discrepancies between training zone targets based on whether the athlete is training indoors or outdoors. Giving the athlete feedback on training zones is not possible unless we can update different zones based on activity subtype.
This should be a very easy integration and hold value across multiple sport/activities.

Exercise Substitutions and Unit Conversion in Strength Builder
I would like to suggest two improvements to the Strength Builder that would significantly improve usability for coaches and athletes.
- Ability to Program Exercise Substitutions
Coaches should be able to assign up to two substitute exercises for each programmed strength exercise. In practice, athletes often encounter situations where they cannot perform the exact exercise prescribed (equipment limitations, minor injuries, gym restrictions, etc.). Currently, this creates confusion because athletes do not know what alternative movement the coach prefers.
Allowing coaches to pre-assign one or two substitute exercises would solve this issue. If the…

Save draft notes, publish notes
Often as I write workout comments, I need to exit the workout, look at a previous workout(s), look at metrics, look at something else in the calendar, etc., and then return to finish the comments. Currently I [command delete] the draft of comments, review what I need to, return to the workout, paste the draft comments, finish comments, save and close. Could we have an option to save a draft of comments, exit the workout, return to the workout, publish comments?

Event/Race Calendar - multiple athlete overlay
Event Calendar
A feature that would be really helpful for coaches would be an Event Calendar view. The ability to view upcoming races/events across multiple athletes on a single calendar, with the option to overlay selected athletes, would make it much easier to track race schedules, plan training blocks, and identify athletes targeting similar events. This could be especially useful for managing group communication, race-specific content, camps, and shared preparation for key races throughout the season.
I think this would add real value for coaches managing multiple athletes.

Injury tracking with a daily pain score and PMC overlay
TrainingPeaks tracks everything that builds fitness, but nothing that breaks it. I'd like to see injury tracking added as a first-class data type, not a metric comment buried in the calendar.
Four parts:
A dedicated injury entry type. Log an injury via a visual body map plus a structured body-part list (so it's selectable data, not free text). Each entry holds detailed descriptors, rehab methods, and attachments from a physio or medical professional, all in one place on the calendar.
A daily pain score out of 10. The entry repeats daily, so the athlete logs where the injury is at…

TrainingPeaks Integration for the Cadence App (Access to your API)
I use the Cadence app on my iPhone as my bike computer while riding, and I would really like to see easier integration between Cadence and TrainingPeaks.
At the moment, when I have a structured workout in TrainingPeaks, I need to manually export/import files in order to use it in Cadence. This adds friction to what would otherwise be a very simple workflow.
Cadence is a very easy-to-use cycling app, and I believe many riders are already using it or would benefit from being able to send TrainingPeaks workouts directly to the app. Their website is: https://getcadence.app/
From what I…

Coach intellectual property and athlete data history with new Garmin merger
How will Garmin and Training Peaks be using the vast data set built by and subsequently populated by their paying customers (Coaches and athletes) over many years? Most (maybe all) coaches would consider their unique approach to their athlete success through their schedule building, coaching approach, comments and feedback as their intellectual property. This is likely the value that Garmin saw in the acquisition in an effort to improve their own coaching and training models (something that someday could undermine business of individual coaching). Can Training Peaks ease the concern of coaches and athletes by explaining how their data will…

Hate the new Strength appearance
One of my favorite features was being able to quickly see the total time and TSS from all activities on the calendar, including Strength workouts. The new design where it shows numbers of sets and numbers of exercises is really unfortunate. I know that I can still see the time and TSS if I click into the activity, but what's the point of having sets and exercises on the calendar view?

Planned structured strength workouts in overviews and calendar
With the expansion of the Structured Strength builder integration (now linking to Garmin workout files), I feel it's now essential that the TSS & time related to these files now displays on the main page as a planned/completed workout. It's not counted in the pie chart! Nor does it appear as a coloured spot in the calendar view, it looks like I have nothing planned for the day. I could still add a legacy workout, but given the new syncing rules, this seems superfluous.
Please ensure Structured Strength complies to the core functionality of TrainingPeaks.

Equipment
EQUIPMENT CONFIGURATION
1) Create a universal equipment type
2) Build groups of universal equipment into "configuration"
3) Allow for designation of configurations and additions/removals of pieces of equipment for an activityExample:
Equipment: road bike frame, training wheels, race wheels
Configuration A: road bike frame, training wheels
Configuration B: road bike frame, race wheelsSolves at least 5 separate equipment-related suggestions.

Customize fitness history
Would be great if we can customize the intervals in TP Fitness History. Standard are 5sec, 1m, 5m, 20m, 60m. would be great to be able to add our own (i.e. 10m, 30m, etc)
5 votesWe do not have plans to allow custom durations for the Peaks calculation. However, this is a feature of WKO.

Please add labels to chart columns in the TrainingPeaks and mobile apps. This feature is industry standard in presenting data. Thank you!
Please add labels to chart columns in the TrainingPeaks web and mobile apps, both the data field of the column and the data itself. This is an industry standard feature and practice in presenting data effectively. It will make the charts much more visually useful. I realize that you can hover your mouse over each column and see the data, but we need to be able to see all this summary data in the chart. See attached mock up. Thank you!
5 votesThank you for the suggestion. Adding the labels to the Time in Zones charts works well, but we have a few charts that can show 52 or more columns, and that is where things start to breakdown. But this is something we will consider in the future.

Set Workout builder to measure by Zone
Love the new Workout builder, but would like to measure by zones. Easier to select zone than to reenter the %HR since I've already the appropriate ranges for each zone in setup.
5 votesGreat suggestion. We’ve struggled with this as the workout may be created based on a zone methodology different from an athlete’s or multiple athletes’ zones. Thus Zone 2 per the workout may not map correctly to different users depending on each users’ specific zone settings. We will continue to look into this as we agree planning and execution of workouts is often based on zones – we’re just wanting to ensure if we do enable this, it’s usable for athletes with differing zone settings/methodologies. Thanks for your feedback!

Provide Normalized Power Peak Performances
Provide a way to see Peek Performances for NP, not just AP. I typically watch my 60min NP as a sign that my my FTP is changing. AP doesn't tell the whole story.
Since NP doesn't mean much for short durations, it could be an option for only 20min + durations.

Make the PP chart infinitely variable. Do not include only the specific time intervals (5s, 10s, 12s, 20s, etc.).
The PP chart in Strava, Golden Cheetah, etc. show peak power numbers for basically all time intervals, which is very helpful. It's nice to know if someone smashed an effort 8m long, but then you see a big drop to 10m. Or if someone has a great climb that's 45-50m long and their peak performances are on that climb, but not for 30m or 1h. Those highpoints on the curve are impossible to see with the big gaps in TP.
5 votesThank you for the feedback. This is a common request and has been added to that project’s feedback.
Future opportunities have not been added to our road map yet, but we are actively collecting feedback which contributes to the prioritization process. We do not want to set up false expectations and want to make sure that there is awareness that this update currently is not prioritized and does not have an ETA.
