As a suggestion: I can understand that maybe history is not currently stored in the athlete's profile, and FTP is over written each time its updated creating a technical challenge that might be a bigger lift than it seems on the surface. While tracked history with dates etc. would be the ultimate, a seemingly easy improvement could be to simply display the current FTP from the athlete's profile next to the current zones so when you go to any particular workout you can easily see what the FTP was for that day next to the calculated zones for that day. All the data is there and you already do exactly this for zones. Just display current FTP in a field on this workout screen for each workout and that is a 90% improvement. See attached for visualization.

Kicking this one again and agree 100% with Egor below. Can I put all of my votes on this? I don't understand how this continues to be overlooked so many times. At the beginning of every season I bemoan this not being a standard feature when I start comparing "where we are" vs prior years for athletes.

Thank you for the feedback. This is a common request and has been added to that project’s feedback.

Future opportunities have not been added to our road map yet, but we are actively collecting feedback which contributes to the prioritization process. We do not want to set up false expectations and want to make sure that there is awareness that this update currently is not prioritized and does not have an ETA.

This: "This may of course be better implemented by allowing all users to set a default TSS calc method at global or activity level."

The capability to: 1) select and set a default TSS per activity type and then 2) be able to still manually toggle between the various TSS types is what is desired. There is value to the toggle in certain scenarios. You can kind of do this for cycling and running, but setting default is only done by a seemingly random pop up prompt. It would be good to be able go to a setting menu and make the adjustment vs waiting for the pop up and of course be able to do it for any workout type not just run and bike.

Trying again with this one: can you simply make the "Training Availability" field be editable free text vs a rigid locked value? Every time I go to use this feature it drives me just a little nuts that this is not editable as it would make it so much more useful to coaches and seems crazy easy to remedy.

A more specific and related suggestion on this one. Screen shot below for reference: The field "Training Availability" has "Unavailable" as a fixed value and its what shows up in the calendar and you can't edit it. This should be a free text field and it would make the feature much more valuable at the calendar level. Seeing a block on the calendar with "Tour of the Gila Stage Race" or "Tucson Training Camp" or "Wedding" is much more useful vs just a generic "Unavailable".

To add one more point on this, in my mind this feature should almost be a multi day banded note. It seems like the current direction is to add more rigid options with check boxes for statuses and pick lists for sports which makes it harder to navigate and limits the usability. I am not understanding the ideas behind constraining it. It should be simple and tailorable. So the flexibility of titling and comments of notes but the multi day visualization of the current availability feature.
