In the TrainingPeaks app, under the calories and macronutrient charts, please add the ability to account for calorie expenditure based on either the basal metabolic rate, or a user determined calorie goal. The web version of the platform already has this ability under the 'Calories by Time Period' chart, but the app lacks this. At least that's true for the Android version of the software. If the maintenance calories are not accounted for, the consumed calories far out-weigh the expended calories. It would be nice to just look at the graph and know that the required calories are being consumed…

  2. I keep a separate diary in Excel for all my post-activity comments. I don't put them in TP because it is impossible to get a good list of all comments. With a list I can see patterns. Now in TP there is a very limited view in the calendar. Just make a report listing all post/pre activity comments

  3. to se the weather forecast is already a great point
    but would be even better to have the weather history o your workouts, or at least keep the weather history , it would be nice to see in history what was the weather when you have done your workout or race..

  4. No idea why my data can't be imported properly by TP. The tech people have been terrible with addressing this as power smoothing. But power smoothing 50-100+ watts for sustained intervals that aren't 5 second sprints? This is inexcusable for a paid service

  6. Performance Manager Chart:
    1) Add date sliders for more functional zoom in/out via PC
    2) Ability to select/deselect y-axis components in their entirety

    Activity - "Analyze" Screen:
    1) Fix visual bug of Performance metrics box (cadence, HR, etc.) remaining "on" / not clearing after selection is made

    Dashboard Screen:
    When adding a chart, existing charts and layout have a tendency to go haywire, especially if you want to scroll to a different location to drop the chart. Lock the current layout until the desired location is selected. (PC)

  7. Is there a way we can pull some data from a group of members into a report at all? Looking at threshold improvements over time in swim bike and run, and fitness, fatigue and form changes over the last 6-7 months

    Is this possible?

  8. In the summary of my running activities the unit of elevation gain and loss is 'm' but the figures seem tobe in 'feet'. How to change that in meters as my preference setting is metric ?

  9. I would like to be able to save a workout with the same title.

    I would recommend a subtitle to be added to differentiate the session. This would save having to edit workouts too.

    Example below are two sessions but the structure of the session is different.

    Example.

    Title - Run test to establish your Threshold and Zones
    Sub Title - 20 Minute test

    Title - Run test to establish your Threshold and Zones
    Sub Title - 20 Minute test. Shorter warm up and cool down period.

  10. When selecting a section of a workout, the calculated average is often wrong. As shown in the attached screenshot, the average is frequently so wrong it is outside of range of the data (pace or power) in the selected section. This bug has been present for years, and significantly reduces the value of the analysis tool. I have seen the issue pointed out many times in online forums and somehow it has never been fixed. Please fix this!

  11. Hi,
    is it possible to search a note on the calendar instead of a workout?
    I need to track nutrition, biomechanics checks, ... through notes.
    I think that can be helpful for other users and athletes.

  13. There appears to be a fault in the data and presentation pulled from set group training programmes into an individual athletes plan. The athlete is presented with a % of threshold to complete a section of a training session but there is a drop down box that doesn't always correlate to the prescribed % of threshold. I am not sure if the TSS is therefore being calculated as well as this being confusing for the athlete

  15. When I view run cadence in the laps view, it is completely wrong and not matching the actual recorded data.
    E.g., when doing sprints (high cadence of ~190) it shows low cadence of just over 100. The. When walking (low cadence) it shows high cadence.
    Not sure what is going on here.
    During the run and in the Apple app it displays the correct cadence, it’s like the training peaks app just reads it completely wrong for some reason.
    I use an Apple Ultra 2 watch.

  16. There should be a report on available on the Dashboard that shows stats like cumulative training time, distance, and elevation gain. I'm shocked that I have to go to a Strava account to get these features... Cumulative elevation isn't even available in CSV file exports.

    Consider opening the Data Exports to have selectable fields for export (that include all of the fields that are currently captured for any individual workout or available to report on in the dashboard).

  17. Is there any possibility to make the window of "laps and splits" bigger? Not everyone has a large monitor. It's not easy to check all laps there. I always have to check on Garmin Connect (if i have the connection).

  20. I would like the option to calculate NGP using hrTSS. Using rTSS to derive NGP is inadequate for trails or variable terrain.

    I'm a trail/ultra runner and am new to TP, though not new to tracking/analyzing data. I recently discovered that you can't assess NGP on a run unless you use rTSS. Using a pace-based threshold for trail running is entirely inadequate. My threshold pace would vary considerably depending on a huge variety of factors; steepness, terrain under foot, condition of the trail, heat/humidity/weather, etc. For example, if my threshold pace on a flat paved road is x'xx/mi, but I…
