  1. I’d like to suggest an enhancement to the strength training functionality in the web and mobile apps, specifically around tracking and applying progression in exercises.

    Currently, I can plan a workout (e.g. for specific body parts) by entering exercise, sets, reps, and weights. After completing the workout—including warm-up sets and working sets —I manually update the actual values used, especially for the working sets, where I push close to muscular failure to stimulate hypertrophy.

    While the app does store these updated values and I can review my progression manually, it would be incredibly helpful if the next time I schedule…

  2. Add extra light, light, medium, heavy, and extra heavy as options for a resistance band parameter in the new strength builder. E.g. Banded Clamshell exercise where athlete can select which band they used.

  4. Custom App logo for coaching business.
    I really don't mind any TrainingPeaks branding along with a custom logo. But my business heavily relies on MY branding as much as TrainingPeaks relies on theirs.
    A bit of a compromise here will go a LONG way.

    It's different if athletes are buying training plans in TrainingPeaks, but maybe if athletes are accepted or sent a ling to 'onboard' by a coach with the intention of being a long-term client, then the custom app logo can be used.

  5. It will be very useful to have available the possibility of record NOTES in the library as well.

    I use reminders and recurring notes for the athletes that I have to record in the library in the post-activity comments in a custom workout without any structure.

    Probably many other coaches have the same problem as well.

  6. When selecting the 'Filter by' option, allow coaches to type in the duration/distance/tss instead of just using the slide bars. Sometimes the slide bars are too close together and it makes it impossible to re-adjust them.

    Also add a 'reset' button that would clear all of the filters.

  7. When entering a note with iOS app, save it if the app loses focus. Otherwise the note is lost.

  8. I have lost 3-4 workout notes because I accidentally hit the back button (mobile) or the ESC key (web). The workout has closed, discarding what I've written without giving me a warning. I've started writing my workout notes in the Notes app on my phone / notepad on my computer and copying them into Training Peaks so I don't lose them accidentally.

    Suggested fix: add a "you have unsaved changes" warning so I don't accidentally lose my workout notes.

  10. This has been an issue forever. Trainingpeaks only shows total "Elapsed Time". There is no option to even display actual "Moving Time" vs. "Elapsed Time". When a ride is synced to a workout, the Planned vs. Actual time is not quite accurate as it counts elapsed time towards the planned time, not moving time. There are many reasons why one would need to stop mid-ride - to fix a mechanical, relieve oneself, eat, change layers, or just wait up for riding buddies. This is true especially in long rides.

  11. My request is to implement a note/comment pictogram in the web version of TrainingPeaks (PC/Mac), similar to how it's shown in the iOS app?
    In the mobile app, a small icon with a number (e.g. "1x") appears when a workout has a comment or note. This is extremely helpful to quickly identify where feedback or discussion has occurred — or where something is missing.
    I was under the impression this feature used to exist on desktop, but maybe it was removed?
    Either way, I believe this would significantly improve the usability of the calendar view for coaches and athletes alike.

  12. Currently a user can add the weather forecast to their calendar to adjust their future workouts. It would be useful to add to that the forecasted Air Quality (AQI) as well to know whether to workout indoors or outdoors. For those athletes that live in areas downwind of relatively frequent wildfires, this is a critical metric to protect one's health.

  14. Additional activity subtypes for cross country skiing - specifically Classic roller ski and skate roller ski. Right now it's just a generic roller ski. Someone also mentioned adding ski erg which would be awesome too!

  15. 3rd Party Account linking through the Zepp app for Amazfit watches via Terra keeps unlinking every couple of days. It's frustrating to have to sign in and reconnect multiple times to have the activities shown in the TrainingPeaks app. Not sure if it's on your side or the Zepp side, but if that could be worked out so that it remains paired/linked/connected without having to resign in multiple times that would be fantastic. Thank you

  16. The "New Strength Workouts" in Training Peaks should be exportable to the athlete's device, similar to those structured for endurance sports. In this way the athlete follows the training from his watch which warns him at the beginning and end of each series and recovery time

  17. Why can you not see a ATP weekly TSS or Hrs in the athletes training plan. It's frustrating these are not linked and you have to keep referring to both, very inefficient.

    What we need is a weekly total visible in the athletes training plan as its shown in their calendar

  18. My coach has assigned me some nice indoor cycling workouts that I’ve ridden in TrainingPeaks Virtual. I’d like to ride some of them again occasionally, without having to nag my coach to take time to search for and re-copy them. I would love it if TPV included a section for “past workouts” in the list of workouts I can choose to ride (just like I can look through the default TPV workouts and, e.g., sort by duration).

  19. Different subscription levels rather than paying over £100 for premium. I’m sure other users like myself would like basic features which have now been removed such as notifications of comments and the ability to edit/move training set by coaches but don’t want to pay the full cost of premium

  20. In my view, TrainingPeaks could become one of the most comprehensive platforms if options for monitoring and quantifying strength training load were added. In particular, I am thinking about the following features:
    • The ability for coaches to record RIR or RPE for strength exercises
    • The addition of tools to track strength training volume, such as total tonnage, number of repetitions, or combined metrics (tonnage × repetitions)
    • The integration of options that support velocity-based training

    These enhancements would, in my opinion, make the application highly attractive within the broad training-platform market by providing a more complete and accurate…
