  1. Over the past many years I have saved alot of workout plans in the Training library. I would like to download them to word or excel or pdf as a backup save to Training peaks. I feel at the moment that TP owns my work because I have no way to take it off TP. I could loose it all one day.

If TP goes down, is hacked or changes their account rules etc I may loose years of work that went into creating the workouts. I would like to be responsible for backing up my own work.

    In a…

  2. I sent this to TrainingPeaks about 6 months ago, and got a glazed over non-answer-answer:

I would really like to see "equipment" metrics in the app. Specifically, I would like to have quick access to view the total miles that I have accumulated on each of my shoes-- this function exists in the desktop web browser page of TrainingPeaks, but I hardly ever use that and it is fairly inconvenient for me to find a desktop to log in to and pull up the page just to see shoe volume (since all other TrainingPeaks functions I use are on the…

  3. as an elite athlete there are a few metrics that I look for at year end.

    1. Total hours training
    2. Total tss

The total hours training should be easy for TP to program. It can even be a number right next to the pie chart.

And yes, I know I can add these up myself, but on occasion, the pie pieces are so small that the scroll over isn't accurate.

  5. My idea/proposal is to be able to create a 'Master' workout, then if you copy this workout and place it in your calendar say 10 times (secondary workouts) when you make a change/update to the master workout this is automatically pushed through to all the secondary workouts. Currently I believe you would need to edit each of the 10 workouts individually.
A further development of this concept would be to have recurring workouts, with perhaps the possibility to increase volume/intensity by X% for each occurence to fit in with periodisation.

  6. I'm sure this has been posted but I didn't see it. I'd like to be able to export a structured workout (specifically running by HR) to my apple watch. Thanks!

  7. It would be very useful to be able to customise the duration of peak performances. For example as someone who competes in 25 mile time trials a 50 min duration would be very useful for comparison, where as a 60 min duration is typically useless as this is just above the typical duration of an event

  9. On the Calendar page's weekly summary, show zone distribution for planned workouts.

So, for example, if following an 80/20 regimen with a week-on-week increase in TSS, this would enable an athlete to raise training workload for the week while maintaining their prescribed proportion of HIIT vs endurance.

Thank you for the feedback. This is a common request and has been added to that project’s feedback.

Future opportunities have not been added to our road map yet, but we are actively collecting feedback which contributes to the prioritization process. We do not want to set up false expectations and want to make sure that there is awareness that this update currently is not prioritized and does not have an ETA.

  10. For example, if you have a rest day every Monday - be able to see this as a repeat entry. Or if you have a class or group session. You can set it as a repeat with same details for a defined period of time (i.e. next 8 weeks or forever)
Also - ability to delete the whole series too.

Notes updates are currently planned for in our roadmap.

We do not want to set up false expectations and want to make sure that there is awareness that this update currently planned in our roadmap but does not have an ETA.

  12. Consistent power is not always preferred. It would be great to have continuous ramps so that you can set a target power or HR for the start and end of an interval of any chosen length. E.g. warm-up starting at 60% FTP finishing at 75% FTP over 25m. Or, a 10m cool down, or an endurance session that starts at 65% and finishes at 80% 2h later.... There are a lot of ways this would be useful.

  13. So with the new updates from Garmin for their 245,745, 945 (and Fenix?)

After finishing a prescribed workout - the watch are now asking for the precevied effort and how you felt - I understand these new values are stored / saved within the .fit file.

Could TP look at importing these new values and matching to the values stored on TP workouts?

  14. A sync with Oura Ring can help TP’s take into consideration sleep time and quality, HRV, Resting heart rate and recovery status. A sync with Hyperice can help TP’s take into consideration recovery modalities used by the user and adjust the fatigue and stress scores accordingly. Both can help to avoid overtraining and or give overtraining alert suggestions based on data pulled from Oura and Hyperice.

  16. Hello,
I know it is not really TP's core business but I believe it could nicely complement it.
If I could define devices and parts in TP, link them to a value and set a threshold that would trigger an alert, that would be very handy.
In other words, if I could define my Garmin Vector 3 power meter, link it to the number of hours of my workouts and set up an alert at 150 hours, it would help me check the battery before it fails me.
Same principle with my Di2, the chain of my road bike and…

  17. Apple watch integration needs to be improved. Syncing workouts to Traningpeaks does not work proper. With the latest Apple watch ultra announcement workout sharing from Trainingpeaks to Apple watch is needed more than ever. Not possible at the moment. Ideally there is a watch app to do this whole syncing. Similar to the Stryd app which works flawless.

  18. A notification to coaches that an athlete has missed a scheduled workout. Perhaps notifications linked to the session adherence RAG status.

Often workouts are completed as planned and only need a small amount of feedback. The conversation around understanding why a workout has been missed is far more valuable to the coach-athlete relationship.

  19. I would like to add yoga and core/PT exercises to my calendar as a recurring activity. For instance, yoga every Tuesday and Thursday. I know we can copy and paste but the ability to add it once and have it be a recurring activity until a specified end date would be helpful.
