  1. It would be cool if we could write some things in the ATP blocks, like running mesocycle, or swimming mesocycle and even coloring the weekly blocks with different colors.

  2. Would be nice if you could mix HR and Pace in workouts, i think the recovery HR is more important than Pace, i like it if i´m running outside but hate to use garminconnect for creating workouts(with that you can mix both)

  3. Using free-ride segments in Zwift is often used for short max efforts. Now its not possible to export certain blocks as a free-ride segment i.s.o. a steady-state segment. This means you still need to edit the workout in Zwift.

    A solution would be that a block set to 0 watt would be exported to a free-ride segment for a Zwift workout.

    RPE based workouts can now be exported to Zwift. These workouts use Free Ride blocks along with text messages to communicate the target RPE. During a free ride block the trainer will be in ERG mode and respond to changes in the simulator. This is a good option for building FTP test workouts since the trainer will not be locked in to a specific power target.

  4. The new strength workout builder is great, but it's not syncing with Garmin calendar. It would be great to use the TP interface to create the trainings, as well to have exercise data to visualize and analyse there after.

  5. Hello,
    Firstly I'd like to tell you I'm quite new to Training Peaks and it's been a revelation. Being focus on the essential, and having a clear view on the calendar & workouts is absolutely great. (unlike strava or garmin where it's messy. Also, all these useless badges don't help at all).
    I enjoy every component on Training Peaks and it really helped me reach a next step in training and sport overall.

    Using a lot the calendar an pre-made workouts I realized something was kind-of missing I'll try to explain it :

  7. add trail running/orienteering activity that calculates TSS directly from HR (hrTSS) since the use of rTSS in trail running/orienteering is not accurate because of the slower running speed at the same HR/perceived effort

  8. It would be great to be able to import and export workout libraries into a format that could be uploaded into other types of coaching software (e.g. Commit Swimming, etc.) or used with one's own Excel spreadsheets.

  9. Customized graphs are needed in general, but specifically, as an exercise physiologist, I would like to have the possibility to compare training sessions of an athlete, and different athletes that complete the same session.

  10. Having completed a lactic acid threshold test I would appreciate the option to set the heart rate for 2mmol/L, the heart rate for 4mmol/L, max heart rate and resting heart rate.
    I may be in the minority, but have found that entering either of these heart rate thresholds as well as my max and resting heart rate have not yielded reasonable results for the Zone calculation. I ended up having to play around with the threshold until I arrived at reasonable zones.
    Alternatively/in addition, links to the source material of how the wealth of methods calculate threshold would be helpful…

  11. A notification to coaches that an athlete has missed a scheduled workout. Perhaps notifications linked to the session adherence RAG status.

    Often workouts are completed as planned and only need a small amount of feedback. The conversation around understanding why a workout has been missed is far more valuable to the coach-athlete relationship.

    Future opportunities have not been added to our road map yet, but we are actively collecting feedback which contributes to the prioritization process. We do not want to set up false expectations and want to make sure that there is awareness that this update currently is not prioritized and does not have an ETA.

  12. The new note feature is good but would be better if the coach and / or athlete received a notification if either added or updated a NOTE - basically the same functionality as workouts, other etc

  13. i have accidentally deleted workouts before as a coach and as an athlete before and would like some way to retrieve that. either an undo button or something. i do not want to have to lock everything

I'd like to have keyboard shortcuts implemented to speed many common actions within TrainingPeaks from adding items to the calendar (workout, metrics, notes) to searching/selecting/adding from the Workout Library, switching athletes (for coaches), copy/paste, save changes (e.g. "Save & Close" a workout), and many more functions. Keyboard shortcuts along the lines of Gmail (i.e., extensive actions, pop-up shortcut guide) would be a great addition to TrainingPeaks!

  16. Most workouts include more than one type of interval/exercise/drill in various combinations. It would be very convenient, when creating workouts as a coach, to have a separate library of workout blocks that can be draged into workouts.

  18. It would be great to be able to add multi-day events like stage races or ultra distance events over several days. At the moment you have to add a event for every single day of the event.
