A tally of ALL training hours
as an elite athlete there are a few metrics that I look for at year end.
- Total hours training
- Total tss
The total hours training should be easy for TP to program. It can even be a number right next to the pie chart.
And yes, I know I can add these up myself, but on occasion, the pie pieces are so small that the scroll over isn't accurate.

to be able to import and export workout libraries into a tabular Excel format
It would be great to be able to import and export workout libraries into a format that could be uploaded into other types of coaching software (e.g. Commit Swimming, etc.) or used with one's own Excel spreadsheets.

ATP Improvements
It would be cool if we could write some things in the ATP blocks, like running mesocycle, or swimming mesocycle and even coloring the weekly blocks with different colors.

Samsung Health App
Is it possible to get Samsung Health added to the list of compatible apps? Otherwise I have to use the Health Sync app to move my data from Samsung Health to Suunto (which I don't use) just so I can move it to Training Peaks. This complexity makes it hard to justify signing up for TP though I hear it's an outstanding platform.
Referencing the book Atomic Habits, increasing difficulty leads to decreasing likelihood that a habit will stick. If I have to buy a new watch and use multiple apps to get my training going, it tempts me to…

trail running
add trail running/orienteering activity that calculates TSS directly from HR (hrTSS) since the use of rTSS in trail running/orienteering is not accurate because of the slower running speed at the same HR/perceived effort

Heart rate zones based on lab-based lactic acid threshold test
Having completed a lactic acid threshold test I would appreciate the option to set the heart rate for 2mmol/L, the heart rate for 4mmol/L, max heart rate and resting heart rate.
I may be in the minority, but have found that entering either of these heart rate thresholds as well as my max and resting heart rate have not yielded reasonable results for the Zone calculation. I ended up having to play around with the threshold until I arrived at reasonable zones.
Alternatively/in addition, links to the source material of how the wealth of methods calculate threshold would be helpful…31 votes -
Structured Swim Workout Builder Redesign
The Structured Workout Builder for swimming workouts needs to be completely redesigned for high performance swimming in my opinion. Trying to apply what we do for running and cycling to swimming doesn't work. The new Garmin sync for structured swimming workouts just further drives down the wrong road.
Here's what we need for a Structured Swim Workout builder.
The "Units" in the Swim Structured Workout interval would just need to be 3 options. 1) Perceived Effort, 2) interval including rests, 3) interval excluding rests. This helps the swimmer learn how to swim on an interval.
The interval is determined from…

Multi-day events
It would be great to be able to add multi-day events like stage races or ultra distance events over several days. At the moment you have to add a event for every single day of the event.

With TP's new strength builder, strength no longer contributes to the fitness summary chart in the dashboard or to hours on the ATP.
With TP's new strength builder, strength no longer contributes to the fitness summary chart in the dashboard or to hours on the ATP. I'd love to see this feature adjusted to reflect the work athletes put in.

Data Security - Protection of athletes datas and intellectual property of coaches
Dear TP,
its getting more and more common in professional athletes that, athletes are forced by national federations or teams to share their TP account.
In a certain way its OK, to show by this way that work is done for a payed job and support.
Today there are no international rules about the data security of athletes on online platforms - and if you share the TP account with somebody - you have control on the one hand who you share with, but you dont have control if the shared person downloads your datas with and uses them in…28 votes -
Export 0watt blocks as FreeRide segments to Zwift
Using free-ride segments in Zwift is often used for short max efforts. Now its not possible to export certain blocks as a free-ride segment i.s.o. a steady-state segment. This means you still need to edit the workout in Zwift.
A solution would be that a block set to 0 watt would be exported to a free-ride segment for a Zwift workout.
28 votesRPE based workouts can now be exported to Zwift. These workouts use Free Ride blocks along with text messages to communicate the target RPE. During a free ride block the trainer will be in ERG mode and respond to changes in the simulator. This is a good option for building FTP test workouts since the trainer will not be locked in to a specific power target.

Add longer durations for peaks
Please add longer standard durations for Peaks. Currently the max duration for measuring power or HR is 90 minutes. However, many fitness events, for example Gravel cycling or running marathons, last much longer than 90 minutes. Being able to measure performance over longer durations than 90 minutes is a key requirement, in training for events such as these.
There are other Ideas for the ability to define custom durations. That would be very good, but would also take quite a bit of developer time to implement since it’s a more complex function. As a short term, easier-to-implement enhancement, please just…27 votesAgreed! Longer duration peaks would be rad - we're keen on these too.

Missed workout notification
A notification to coaches that an athlete has missed a scheduled workout. Perhaps notifications linked to the session adherence RAG status.
Often workouts are completed as planned and only need a small amount of feedback. The conversation around understanding why a workout has been missed is far more valuable to the coach-athlete relationship.
27 votesThank you for the feedback. This is a common request and has been added to that project’s feedback.
Future opportunities have not been added to our road map yet, but we are actively collecting feedback which contributes to the prioritization process. We do not want to set up false expectations and want to make sure that there is awareness that this update currently is not prioritized and does not have an ETA.

It seems a no brainer to include a Dashboard pod for Hunter Allen's Fatigue Profiling.
Given Hunter's relationship with Training Peaks it would be great to see his Fatigue Profiling available
