Ability to add tags into workouts in library
I would like to be able to add tags to workouts in my workout library so that when I add the workout to a calendar it already has the tags in it that I need to follow. Adding tags individually into each and every workouts is stopping me from using tags at all.

Please allow the ability to see the details and steps of a workout from the library.
Currently when using either the Android or IOS app, there is no way to actually see the specific steps of a given workout in the library except by adding it to the calendar then going into the calendar details.
Would be much better if the specific steps of the workout can be viewed directly from the library.

2-week calendar group view
As a coach, I use the calendar athletes' grouped view (birds' view) to review my athletes' plans. The only option is one week at a time; however, most plans span up to 2 weeks. I wish there were a compact 2-week calendar group view for productivity purposes.

Systems Status Checks
Garmin Connect & Strava both have systems checks (specifically Activity Uploads - see attached links) to let athletes and external companies know their systems' status. Would be very helpful if TrainingPeaks had one as well.

New Strength - Block Size and Hover Over
Please make "New Strength" workout blocks in the user interface behave the same as old strength or any other workout. New strength is nice, but the default block size is really big vs other workout types and takes up a lot of real estate at the calendar level. Since most athletes have multiple workouts a day it causes you to scroll to see the entire day and its a little visually jarring to see a nice short summary for most workouts and then like half the workout spelled out for strength. It dominates the day's workouts with little value added.…

run distance in time based workouts
An issue I have is that the workout distance for run workouts never gets calculated when the workout is added to an athletes calendar. I used to work with Today's Plan before and there total workout distance was calculated by using the pace value from all the intervals and the time. When a pace range was given the middle value was used for calculation. This made it much easier to get an estimation for the weekly distance the athlete would have to run when planning for the athlete even with time based workouts.

email notifications
this was marked as resolved but that is not true. I'd like to receive email notifications of
1. my own post workout comments: I like to have a record of the complete conversation with my coach in my email
2. changes to workouts: I put all my workouts into my personal calendar at the beginning of the week, when my coach assigns them. Sometimes he changes them later on, so I would like to get a change notification.3 votes -
Allow Coaches to Turn Off Email Notifications for Threshold Changes
I have turned off all email notifications for 90% of my athletes. I prefer to manage things in TrainingPeaks. I run a scaling business and get a lot of emails and would like to have the power to block ALL TrainingPeaks emails for most my athletes truly.
As of right now, there is no way to avoid or block emails from TrainingPeaks when an athlete's threshold value changes.
A 4th checkbox in this location (see screenshot) in TrainingPeaks Threshold Settings Page would be a very convenient option.
"Notify me of applied threshold changes."
(I would uncheck it for most athletes.)3 votes -
Extend .ics file sync to Outlook etc period to two months or more
Hello,
I usually have a busy calendar with changing training availability and need to plan may trainings well in advance. I want them to show up in Outlook as well (or even better: edit them in Outlook).
Today online calendars provided via .ics link sync only 14 days into the future, which is way too little to plan properly. This should be extended to minimum 2 months. I can‘t believe this is much effort.
Ideally, we would be able to integrate the TrainingPeaks calendar as full external calendar, so we could edit it directly from Outlook or other calendar applications.

Workout annotation
I would like the ability to add annotations (comments) to particular time points in my workout. It would work by highlighting a segment of a workout and leaving a comment just on that particular portion.
This way I can leave notes for myself or my coach on how I was feeling or what I was doing during a particular moment of the training session. It would also provide a way for my coach to ask or tell me something about a particular moment in my workout. Example comments might include: "I started cramping", "Watch showed high heart rate, but the…

Support direct linking to workouts for athletes and coaches
Trainingpeaks should support direct linking to a particular workout both for athletes and coaches so that I can send my coach a link to a workout they have access too, and clicking it brings up that workout in the training peaks app or web views.
This shouldn't require making the workout public, and it should allow bringing up the workout view as if I had searched for that workout and clicked in on the calendar view or otherwise for full analysis.
This would help improve the workflow and communication for athletes and coaches; right now I have to tell my…

swim distance not shown in workout library
The planned swim workouts in the workout library do not show the planned distance any more. I can only see the planned distance when the workout is moved into the athletes calender. This makes planning very annoying, as I can´t see beforehand which workout I should select based on the distance I want so prescribe. Support suggested to only use distance, but I don't really understand how a swim workout should be only planned by distance as the rest between the intervals will always be time based. Or is there a better way to incorporate interval rest into planned workouts…

Add a timer to the new strength workouts interface
In order to use a timer I need to switch apps on my phone however if there was a running clock on the screen while I completed my strength work I could time things like planks in one app. For example, TrainHeroic has a running timer in the top right of the screen (screenshot below for reference). Would be super helpful and the app is already timing me so I just want to see that too!

Automatically synchronize Motocross activity from Garmin
A balance of exertion and training is important to keep a motocross athlete in shape. The athlete's physical training is handled by other coaches, and it is convenient for both them and the athlete to see the dynamics of training at TrainingPeaks.
Unfortunately, the Motocross activity from Garmin does not automatically synchronize with TrainingPeaks. This is inconvenient for the athlete, plus not all training data can be entered manually.
It would be great to see automatic synchronization of motocross training in the service.

Injury body illustration
Our idea is that whenever someone selects "slightly injured" or a more severe injury status in the Metrics section, a “human body” illustration would appear. This illustration would allow the user to click on the specific area affected, making injury documentation simpler and more intuitive. We believe this could significantly reduce the hesitation, especially for younger athletes, to document their injuries thoroughly and accurately.

Comprehensive HRV analysis with daily alcohol intake as a metric
With HRV being measured by more and more people using a smartwatch, this value is also becoming more interesting for coaches. For coaches, it is important to know whether an athlete consumes alcohol because there is a dose response relationship between alcohol consumption and a lower HRV value. It would be good if an athlete could add in the metrics that he drank alcohol and how much. In addition, more comprehensive analyses could add value for coaches. A graph with standard deviations and bandwidth. A table with the weekly average HRV value could also be of added value as well…

Walk workouts
Walk workouts are not being sent to the Garmin Calendar, and "Walk" cannot be selected as an activity type in the Garmin watch, even if I mark it as "Other." The user should be able to select any available activity in the watch to track their activities clearly.
Why is "Walk" not allowed to be chosen? I doubt that is for a technical reason and for elder people, or recovery workouts, a Walk activity is more than common and expected.
