Timezone glitch?
There is a glitch that causes workouts to appear on the wrong day when exported to Garmin. This seems to have something to do with changing timezones. I travel regularly, and whenever I do, I have trouble with workouts syncing. For example, yesterday I came back to Pacific time after being on the East coast, and my workouts saved in TP to today show up on my Garmin watch for tomorrow, even after changing the date back and forth multiple times. I can fix this by setting the workout to 12pm instead of 12am, which I causes it to fall…

Beta Messaging Improvement
The new Beta messaging feature is great, however, notifications are not provided when an athlete responds to a message. Without notifications, it is easy to miss a note and then defeats the purpose of having this function. Similar to other instant messaging/chat platforms (i.e., Slack, Micro Soft Teams, etc.), notifications in Training Peaks Beta messaging should be included.

Let us turn off trainingpeaks virtual notifications
Please let us turn off trainingpeaks virtual spam notifications- it is extremely irritating to receive these and not be able to turn them off without turning off all notifications. I am not remotely interested in trainingpeaks virtual!

Make "shoes" an optional equipment item for swim workouts
Let's make Shoe Type optional on swim workouts, so that it isn't displayed be default.
I get that SwimRun is a thing (most people probably do not), but I'd be shocked if more than 1% of swim workouts are people swimming in their shoes.
Also, any Swim/Run event will likely have a run segment, and what I care about are road miles on the shoes, not how often they got wet. You do not include the yardage / meters of a swim on the shoes distance, do you?
I see that Pool Type was recently added, so it seems like…

add APPLY ALL button to CADENCE to a cycling training session
When creating a cycling session you have to go through every single component and add cadence. If you have many steps this is very time consuming and if you miss one, the athlete gets a very strange stage with no data
An Apply All button would help, that way you can go through and change just what is different (if there is) and can easily change saved workouts from a long course athlete to a short course athlete.3 votes -
mirror data
I would like to mirror metrics such as RHR. I would like the graph to travel upwards as the RHR data lowers. Up ward travel is universally understood as a good thing and similarly it would be nice to parallel it against HRV which typically is good if its trending upwards. Im doing this manually using an excel spreadsheet but think TP could do a better job.

hide workouts from the library directly
By dragging a workout from the library the workout is active and if activated my clients get a notification - I want the workouts I am dragging from the library to be hidden straight away, so that my clients will just get a notification when I finished programming and unhide the program.
is this possible?3 votes -
INCLUDE A SQUAD ICON / WORKOUT
Create a button in the workout that selects the workout as a SQUAD SESSION - this might create a different outline or an icon to the session so the athlete can determine the difference.
This could go as far as determining the time and location

Strength Metrics & Analytics - Compliance and parameter tracking
Specific to structured strength workouts that include mobility and maintenance physical therapy, I really want be able to see two main metrics - compliance vs time and parameter vs time (like weight or duration).
Mobility and PT are mostly "hey, did I show up and do the work consistently for months and when/where did I have misses" and that data doesn't really show anywhere else, like TSS or duration. However, there is definitely another metric tracking that would be nice, like seeing what weight I could do for single leg calf raise as part of an ankle improvement routine. Basically…

Provide ability to specify indoor and outdoor rowing power zones
With different power capture devices for both indoor and outdoor rowing we have discrepancies between training zone targets based on whether the athlete is training indoors or outdoors. Giving the athlete feedback on training zones is not possible unless we can update different zones based on activity subtype.
This should be a very easy integration and hold value across multiple sport/activities.

Workout Zone Breakdown
Creating workout for my athletes, would be great for them to be broken down by training zone (which is now in TPV). ie split via z1, z2, z3 etc, so i know how much time they'll be spending in each zone without having to work it out manually.

Sync workouts folders structure TP <-> TPV
Hi
You guys make it really difficult to use TP created or customized workouts in TPV!!!
Export, import over filesystem and this for every device…?! Seriously?!
Please develop drag and drop ,workouts moving from folders to TPV folders in TP. This folder then syncs automatically with all instances if TPV on all devices to be selected easily.
Hope my rant is clear

zone based targets
Please add the option to use zone-based targets to your workout builder. Can't quite believe I'm writing this but apparently:
"there have been enhancements to the TrainingPeaks Workout Builder, and one of the key updates is the introduction of intensity ranges. Instead of selecting a fixed zone (like Zone 1 or Zone 2), you now have the flexibility to set your heart rate targets as a specific range (for example, 85%-90% of your threshold)..."
- what would have given us even greater flexibility, IMO, is adding this option to the existing zone-based option rather than taking that one away. I can't…

Custom duration/time selection
The ability to manually add specific durations for peak power like 15" or 3'.

Calendar view
need to be able to view as many weeks on one screen as the classic allowed up to 6 weeks. There now is no way to adjust that or a search for date option.
2 votesControlling the number of weeks shown is no longer an option with the infinite scroll calendar. However, if you put the app in fullscreen mode the workouts go into a compact view mode. In this mode you can get 4-6 weeks visible depending on the number of workouts on the calendar. It is the button with the arrows on it, two down from the today button at the top.

Customize fitness history
Would be great if we can customize the intervals in TP Fitness History. Standard are 5sec, 1m, 5m, 20m, 60m. would be great to be able to add our own (i.e. 10m, 30m, etc)
2 votesWe do not have plans to allow custom durations for the Peaks calculation. However, this is a feature of WKO.

Customize my intervals for the peak power chart.
I want to customize my intervals for the peak power chart. For example, the current display does not show peak power for 3 minute or 8 minute durations. Yet, in Training & Racing with a Power Meter by Allen and Coggan 3-8 minute intervals are described as the VO2Max zone. I'd like the same customization abilities in a new fatigue profile chart too.
2 votesWe do not have plans to allow custom durations for the Peaks calculation online. However, this is a feature of WKO which is what most of the examples in the TRPM book are based on. Fatigue profiling will a feature of WKO4.

joe@onpacesports.com
I create workouts which are time trials and would like to be able to specify some steps as RPE and other steps as power, hr, pace based.
Currently the structured workout builder only allows for one specific primary unit for every setp in a workout, which is fine most of the time, but during time trial workouts, e.g. Cooper V02max tests, Critical Power tests, etc. The purpose of these tests is to establish or verify current best efforts, not to perscribe best effort goals or ranges.
My clients do a significant amount of testing throughout their training and it would…
