  1. Specific to structured strength workouts that include mobility and maintenance physical therapy, I really want be able to see two main metrics - compliance vs time and parameter vs time (like weight or duration).

Mobility and PT are mostly "hey, did I show up and do the work consistently for months and when/where did I have misses" and that data doesn't really show anywhere else, like TSS or duration. However, there is definitely another metric tracking that would be nice, like seeing what weight I could do for single leg calf raise as part of an ankle improvement routine. Basically…

  2. Creating workout for my athletes, would be great for them to be broken down by training zone (which is now in TPV). ie split via z1, z2, z3 etc, so i know how much time they'll be spending in each zone without having to work it out manually.

  3. Hi

You guys make it really difficult to use TP created or customized workouts in TPV!!!

Export, import over filesystem and this for every device…?! Seriously?!

Please develop drag and drop ,workouts moving from folders to TPV folders in TP. This folder then syncs automatically with all instances if TPV on all devices to be selected easily.

    Hope my rant is clear

  4. Please add the option to use zone-based targets to your workout builder. Can't quite believe I'm writing this but apparently:

"there have been enhancements to the TrainingPeaks Workout Builder, and one of the key updates is the introduction of intensity ranges. Instead of selecting a fixed zone (like Zone 1 or Zone 2), you now have the flexibility to set your heart rate targets as a specific range (for example, 85%-90% of your threshold)..."

    • what would have given us even greater flexibility, IMO, is adding this option to the existing zone-based option rather than taking that one away. I can't…

  5. In order to see a projected metrics in a specific date, I note have to go to web, open a workout and then I see the data. It doesn’t work on mobile TBH. I’d like to see the metrics on a given day in app.

    Thank you.

  6. Would love to see the ability to have emojis -add lines to make warm up and main set etc - See screenshot. It just does not hold in the athletes program. its much better for athletes visually to be able to decipher what is happening

  7. Just some constructive feedback:

I recently tested the feature to ride existing routes, using the bike course of the Challenge Almere (The Netherlands).

As you can see in the screenshots, the route that was created was almost entirely on a road surrounded by water. I think that the route probably is below sealevel, but as the screenshot of the GPX and Google maps will show, we do actually have land here.

  8. Currently in the coaching accounts, you can create folders to organize training plans. This should be offered to the athlete accounts (non-coaching accounts) too. As an athlete, I would like to be able to better organize my training plans not only by type, but also distance. Example: Running: Half Marathon, Marathon, 50 Miler, 100K, 100 Miler folders. Lifting: Push, Pull, Legs folders, Mobility. Tri: Sprint, Olympic, Half IM, Full IM.

  9. On the home page, Performance Insights show

    Fitness | Form | Fatigue

On the calendar and menu (top left hamburger menu) we have Performance Metrics of

    Fatigue | Fitness | Form

Which means I'm constantly having to figure out which one I'm looking at and which numbers are which. Excess cognitive load that is entirely unnecessary.

    Please make these consistent.

  13. When you open the training analysis view, you can see all the available data. Currently, you can hide or show individual metrics using the button, but you cannot set which data are displayed by default.

This is a limitation because each coach may prefer to use specific data as their default view, and only add other lines if needed later.

Adding a feature to set default displayed data would allow coaches to have a consistent view for all their athletes and save a lot of time, avoiding the need to manually hide or show metrics every session.

  15. In the weekly recap, on the right side of the calendar, include a small and intuitive graph or table that shows the breakdown of the scheduled training into LIT / MIT / HIT.
It should be simple and easy to read, but highly useful for tracking training distribution.

  17. My coach creates hidden workouts for an upcoming week and then releases them Sunday evenings. It's very spammy to have a dozen "Training Plan Update" mobile notifications even if they're hidden by a coach. This at least should be a notification filter option on mobile app.

  18. It's super frustrating to have the mobile app fully render any time I change screens. App is still open in the background. E.g I open TP to view a workout, then swap to a different app, swipe back to TP it shows the reloading symbol and "Refreshing". Also, use caching for workouts that are viewed. If I click on a run workout, for example, and then check the next day's workout and go back to check the run, it takes a moment to reload that workout. It's a very small amount of data to cache while app is active and…

  19. Offer a more sophisticated workout compliance analysis.
This would specifically be for structured workouts.
For example, if the plan/coach has set a cycling workout with a mix of warm-up, easier zone durations and some higher intensity sets (eg. 6 x 3min at 110% of FTP / with 1 min rest) ... then could compliance be reported on following the structure of the workout.
Eg. I could complete the workout at the allotted duration, or TSS for that matter, but have done so without adherence to the structure. Ideally this could be reported on a per workout basis or across a…

  20. For indoor and outdoor rowing, many coaches prescribe stroke rate targets. Please consider adding Rate as a Unit for structured workouts and workout compliance.

Rowing Power on the water is restricted to a few devices that won't accept structured workouts. Pace fluctuates with water conditions, heart rate and cadence. Indoor rowing power is more meaningful, but still a rate prescription is often a way of indicating intensity as well.

Very specifically, this is how I would like to use this:
I row with an EmPower Oarlock, and an NK SpeedCoach GPS 2 - this is the most accessible on the…
