  1. Copy options in Workout builders - ability to change % of FTP to % of threshold Speed

    I would like to be able to change from % of FTP to % of threshold speed (or visa versa) for workout I copy.

    This would allow me to duplicate workouts I have created for athletes working with power or just HR.

    Currently I can copy the workout but not change the fundamental metrics the specific training zones are measured by.

    I have to rebuild complex workouts for both groups which is not a good use of my time, so please can we have the copy function amended to include this

      • fitness summary - TSS, CTL, ATL, TSB

        The Fitness Summary chart from the dashboard can create a pie chart for "completed distance" and "completed duration", but does not allow "completed TSS", and "planned TSS". It seems completed training load is more valuable than volume.

        Further, it would also be nice to be able to select which activities are included much like the PMC.

        Finally, I'd like to be able to see a pie chart (fitness summary) for CTL/ATL/TSB by sport. However, since these are "summary stats", what makes the most sense to me is "average (actual or planned) CTL/ATL/TSB" over the selected time-range.

        • Specify number of steps in Workout Builder repeats

          I'd like to be able to specify the number of steps to repeat in a workout builder repeat. Currently there are only 2 and 3 step repeats available, which do not suit some of my workouts. It seems possible to simply choose repeat, number of steps, and number of repeats. Of course I can simply specify all sixteen steps in a 4x4 step set individually, but to do so is inelegant and time-consuming.

          • Add Heart Rate Reserve to Workout Builder

            I'd like to be able to specify a percent of heart rate reserve (%HRR) as the measurement method in workout builder. Currently it is possible to specify by % of maximum heart rate but not by heart rate reserve. Athletes vary considerably, and with resting and maximum heart rates specified it seems like this would be programmatically fairly easy.

            • Create the ability to print the entire year of the ATP.

              Would like to be able to print entire year of ATP, not just what is on the screen. Also, used to love the option of being able to print as many weeks of a schedule that you wanted. Please bring back! Why did you eliminate this feature?

              • ATP start date

                Currently, I can't control when the "baseX" periods start, directly. Its all or nothing. The automatic ATP inserts extra base periods to fill as much of the time window to the first A race as it can. then it adds just a few weeks of prep. So, I can't specify a certain amount of "prep" prior to starting a base-build-up sequence.

                It turns out I found a workaround, but its a bit clunky.
                1. Create ATP with restricted date range to "force" TP.com to place the base1-w1 start where desired.
                2. Adjust the ATP start date backwards to include desired…

                  • Option to forward plan athlete programs with the 'hidden' tab available when loading groups of athletes

                    The hidden tab option would save a bunch of time when forward planning, I would be able to plan groups of athletes 2 week or 2 months in advance and unhide individually as session structure is cleaned up amended based on individual athlete needs

                      Have a swimming pace zone like you do now with pace or TSS modifiers for strokes, drills or kicking. For example 1.1 more pace for backstroke. I understand you are also working on hrTSS for swimming. but While I haven't tried the new swim hrms I can't imagine they are all that comfortable and response for short intervals will be slow. You could use hrTSS to inform via threshold test what your sTSS would be for a particular stroke.

                          I am a new coach to TP / WKO have previously only use Golden Cheetah patched with various home made formats and methods of sharing plans and feedback. I am just playing currently and have been impressed with most elements, but the whole ATP is surprisingly crude when most other parts of TP are sophisticated. Most of the comments below are true and need work, but it runs deeper and it is currently absolutely necessary to run an ATP outside TP (in Excel or Word).                             The only units available are currently mg/dL. For those outside the USA, we'd like to track blood glucose in mmol/L. Basically add a similar Metric/Imperial option.

                              The option to use in equipment should be optional in the quickview of the workout. I don't think needing to log the shoes used for swimming is necessary. I would like the option of being able to remove equipment selections.

                                • Use a keyboard shortcut to "Save & Close" a workout.

                                  It would be nice to reduce the need for mouse movements. Keyboard entry is MUCH faster.

                                  Can you make the standard "Cmd + Enter" (mac) or "Ctrl + Enter" (Windows) a keyboard shortcut for Saving and Closing a workout?

                                  • Peak Pace by Distance for Swimming Activities

                                    At the moment it's possible to have a Dashboard chart/table showing the "Peak Pace" at a number of different distances for running activities, effectively showing your PB times and paces for a number of predefined distances from 400m upwards.

                                    It'd be great to have the same functionality for swimming activities.

                                      I was excited about the new workout builder but disappointed and confused when I was told that workouts specified in distance and % FTP intentionally do not estimate TSS and that I must use duration. Well as a runner pace and distance are how my workouts are structured. Intervals are commonly specified in 100s of meters and other distance runs like tempo are specified in miles.

                                      Distance == pace * duration , it seems a trivial feature to support given you support duration. I've been using a spreadsheet to estimate TSS but the process is tedious. WB would make this…

                                        Would it be possible to only publish or reveal specific sections of the ATP to my athletes? They are always a work in progress as I never plan too far in advance. My athletes sometime question why things have change when they have been looking forward a couple of months and when the receive their plan details nearer the time they are not quite what they expected.
                                        I create my own period usually 6 week blocks and would like to have the flexibility if possible of only showing the current block and following period once completed.

                                          Love the new work out builder and it would be fabulous if the names I give each set within the workout could be transferred across into WKO4 when synced with TP.

                                          That way as a coach I would be able to search for specific the intervals eg z2, z4, sweet Spot etc that corresponded to the names I gave the specific intervals in my all my athletes workouts.
