  1. Based on the concept of thrust to weight ratio (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thrust-to-weight_ratio), it would be nice to have a graph that tracks:

    FTP in seconds (power) / weight

    I currently have to do this calculation myself and hide it in the 'waist' metric to display it as a graph.

  2. Hi there
    I have the TrainingPeaks Daily Workout IQ App and use it 4 times a week on my structured plan.
    I am enjoying the workouts and am benefitting from them
    I would like to suggest a couple of tweeks to the app though.

    1 Could it be made to have cadence on the page as a lot of the workouts have a cadence target also.
    2 Could the app be made a 2 page item with the second page being the workout summary as sometimes it is useful to have a reminder of what the upcoming segments are

    Once you are performing the workout you are no longer in the TrainingPeaks CIQ app, instead you are back in Garmin’s workout interface. We are not able to directly make any modifications to Garmin’s workout interface, but we can send your feedback to the the team at Garmin. We have already sent them a request that at least one of the data fields on the workout screen be customizable. This would allow you to add cadence to that screen. Until then, you can still access all the other data screens on your Garmin device, just page left/right or up/down as usual. Even when not on the workout screen, you will still get in/out of range alerts and notifications when starting the next step along with what the new target is.   4. Why not be able to search for workouts by workout file name?
    Here's the thing. I just submitted a support/help case for this because when trying to manually upload a .FIT file to the website, it tells me the .FIT file has been uploaded successfully, however, it doesn't "Pair" with the planned structured workout for the day, nor do I even see the file anywhere. And when I try to upload the file again, it tells me that it's already been uploaded. The catch? I have no idea where that file landed on the calendar. And I can't even search…

  5. Integrate Hydrow rower output directly in TP. Hydrow already uploads automatically into Strava. Can we work with Hydrow to also upload directly into TP.

  6. I thought it might be cool if there could be a color bar below the blue bar on the monthly calendar page that had a theme, phrase, or training specific stimulus to be aware of. Coaches may input something like: Long Endurance Week, Building Week, Make SUre To Focus on Sleep, or Swims are important this week, or Deload Week Take It Easy. That was my idea, just a little rectangular bar mirroring the size and shape of the calendar dates inserted above the workouts.

  7. As a coach, to understand better training process and the adaptations is important to know how athletes is responding to training loads but also, what athelet does during resting time. An easy way to monitor this, could be uploading non-exercise daily activiy, like steps, daily average heart rate or kcal. This metrics are realted with NEAT (Non Exercise Activity Termogenesis) and could be extrapolated.
    Nowadays, most of the wereables athletes use, are monitoring this kind of data.

  8. i.e. If an athlete skips/misses the programmed efforts but still aligns on duration/TSS they get a green box anyway. Would like to be able to manually switch to a yellow or orange.

  9. Trainingpeaks should support direct linking to a particular workout both for athletes and coaches so that I can send my coach a link to a workout they have access too, and clicking it brings up that workout in the training peaks app or web views.

    This shouldn't require making the workout public, and it should allow bringing up the workout view as if I had searched for that workout and clicked in on the calendar view or otherwise for full analysis.

  10. Why not just have the same view as in the mobile app where all the days in the range are marked? Instead of the first day of the period and the athlete's first day of the week.

  14. Why did the "compliance color" designation disappear on the my athlete dashboard? This was a nice way to glance at the workout before I commented and analyzed it...

  16. When workout files are exported to .csv the Planned Duration and Distance are exported along with the Actual IF and TSS. It would be nice the Planned IF and TSS were exported for comparison offline.

  17. The Garmin Ultra activity auto-logs our non-moving time. Presumably our aid station time. It would be helpful if that could show up in TP. Either on a per lap basis or at least the cumulative amount for the activity.

  18. Help coaches limit the amount of clicks needed to upload, modify, or move around on the coaches side. I am finding that with the updates (which are awesome and needed) I have to click more and more each time. Not uncommon for tasks that used to take 1-2 clicks now take 4-5.

  20. Hi,
    Please would it be possible to set MAF heart rate (180-age) as a heart rate single zone for running and cycling? This would make it easier to write training sessions for MAF HR and also train in the right zone.
