  1. Walk workouts are not being sent to the Garmin Calendar, and "Walk" cannot be selected as an activity type in the Garmin watch, even if I mark it as "Other." The user should be able to select any available activity in the watch to track their activities clearly.

    Why is "Walk" not allowed to be chosen? I doubt that is for a technical reason and for elder people, or recovery workouts, a Walk activity is more than common and expected.

  2. Hi,

    I understand Athletes who purchase a Training Plan from the Training Plan store receive an email upon plan completion requesting they leave a Review. As yet, no one has left a Review for any of my TrainingPlans and when I enquire, Athletes tell me they either can't find the 'Review Request' email from TrainingPeaks (perhaps redirected to Junk mailbox)/they've simply missed it/forget.

    It would be really helpful if I, as the TrainingPeaks Coach and Author of a training plan, can also receive the email requesting a review - or at least the link to where the Athlete can leave…

  5. Can we introduce to have a toggle on Notes to make them Private or Public (visible to coach) ... sometimes I make notes/ reminders for myself and don't want my coach to know...

  7. A balance of exertion and training is important to keep a motocross athlete in shape. The athlete's physical training is handled by other coaches, and it is convenient for both them and the athlete to see the dynamics of training at TrainingPeaks.

    Unfortunately, the Motocross activity from Garmin does not automatically synchronize with TrainingPeaks. This is inconvenient for the athlete, plus not all training data can be entered manually.

    It would be great to see automatic synchronization of motocross training in the service.

  8. User story: As a user, I would like all my training sessions (including strength) to sync with my calendar so that I can effectively plan my schedule and coordinate with my coach.

    Background: The current feature only includes some workouts so it means the calendar sync feature only provides partial coverage of your plan and you have to toggle between TP and your calendars to plan effectively.

  9. I would like my coach to be able to add specific recovery items so I can be as optimal as possible. For example: when to use Normatec boots, sauna, ice baths, specific stretching/mobility after workout. Currently the option is to add something that was done as other. Recovery is just as important as the workout.

  10. Good day,
    Is there any chance to introduce the feature to keep the App language in English even if the device setting is in a different language (e.g. German)?
    The automatic translation is terrible, and I would like to keep it in English and not all sites of the App are translated anyway.
    So you end up with a mix between English and German in the App.
    A lot of Apps, which have been programmed in English originally, offer the setting to keep the App language in English no matter of the device default language setting.

  11. Our idea is that whenever someone selects "slightly injured" or a more severe injury status in the Metrics section, a “human body” illustration would appear. This illustration would allow the user to click on the specific area affected, making injury documentation simpler and more intuitive. We believe this could significantly reduce the hesitation, especially for younger athletes, to document their injuries thoroughly and accurately.

  12. Adding the ability to set a reminder for a coach to add in new training before it's due.

    For example; Coach adds two weeks of training ending on a Monday, the coach can add a reminder to that date or the one prior that is invisible to the athlete but gets sent to the coach as a reminder of what needs to be done. It gets sent via email or notification tab in Home screen and can be set to be sent the day or two prior.

  13. Right now gear logging is buried at the very bottom of the activity page on mobile. It is easy for it to end up “out of sight, out of mind.” It would be great if it were more prominent, and I would love it if the screen for “RPE/How did you feel?” included it, but even just having it near the top of the workout view instead of the bottom would be helpful!

  14. Being able to add short (i.e. 60-90") audio messages directly on training blocs and/or Notes would boost the efficiency of communications.

    Those short audio recording could be added to all 3 sections (training description / Pre-activity / Post-Activity) or simply ONE audio recording

    Because sometimes, the best way to communicate something is through your voice!

  15. I cycle to work and back everyday. But TP thinks this my workout and then it’s gone. Can I prevent that? Or mark my commute as non–exercise? (

  16. When the athlete fills the load of one of the strength training exercises, this load will be filled in the next training sessions. This way, the athlete will not have to remember the load he put on in the last training session. The Cargo will already be in the next training session.
    When setting up the training sessions, there could be an option to leave selected.
    Ex: Fill loads until...

  17. Enable “End Step on Lap Press” to advance to the next workout step on Apple Watch like on Garmin. Today the Apple Watch ignores this setting and auto-advances to the next step at the Time / Distance of the step

  18. I have turned off all email notifications for 90% of my athletes. I prefer to manage things in TrainingPeaks. I run a scaling business and get a lot of emails and would like to have the power to block ALL TrainingPeaks emails for most my athletes truly.

    As of right now, there is no way to avoid or block emails from TrainingPeaks when an athlete's threshold value changes.

    A 4th checkbox in this location (see screenshot) in TrainingPeaks Threshold Settings Page would be a very convenient option.

    "Notify me of applied threshold changes."

    (I would uncheck it for most athletes.)

  19. Strength training is a core element of my training strategy, so I am excited that TrainingPeaks is improving support for programming strength workouts. In addition to other requested features here, I would like to be able to prescribe the number of warm-up sets for a given exercise. This is distinct from the warm-up exercises that already exist.

    In my training plan it is important to distinguish that although only 1-2 sets may be "working" sets, there are also several warm-up sets performed at significantly lower weight and reps. From a UX perspective, it is challenging to communicate this when there…

  20. I absolutely love the Apple Watch Ultra sync from the TP app on my phone, but please add in the ability to sync any running workout, not just ones with HR. My coach has been giving me RPE workouts instead of HR because of medical issues I'm coming back from, but I'm having to manually create these on the watch, when a sync that's just time based intervals anyways, should be able to be synced.
