Thank you for the feedback. This has been added to that project’s feedback.

Considered opportunities have not been added to our road map yet, but we are actively collecting feedback which contributes to the prioritization process. We do not want to set up false expectations and want to make sure that there is awareness that this update currently is not prioritized and does not have an ETA.

  2. I've recently came to the conclusion that certain WKO data & charts do not take a custom crank length into account.

It would be good if the crank length (accessible using the cranklength expression variable) could be sent along with the activity data from TP to WKO, and used for data & charts of that activity in WKO.

I think this can be solved in a rather generic & future proof way.
    - Add an 'equipment' property to an activity when sending data from TP to WKO.
    - This property can include things like the bike used for the activity,…

  3. Add the ability to load a route, harvested from many platforms, Garmin, Strava, Kamoot, RideWith GPS, etc to plan a pre determine route or segments as part or the work out. This could be imported as a past workout or a "planned" work out with data to be auto loaded into the current "planned" workout for time, distance, work, tss, if etc . This would be very useful for those of us that coach more locally based and are familiar with local routes, goals and times.

  4. As a coach I’d find it very useful to be able to view Percentage Complete versus Planned sessions. So an overall % and per discipline, per week, per month or whatever dates you requested.

The data for this already exists with Tp so this would be easily achieved for the developers.

It could be used to show an athlete their commitment to the coached plan. Also for the coach hold an athlete to account.

  6. As a coach we receive email notifications, when an athletes training session gets uploaded.
It would be great if this also happened when athletes enter their daily metrics into TP. This way ups and downs and feelings are flagged as well as any notes on sleep etc.

  7. Provide a way to see Peek Performances for NP, not just AP. I typically watch my 60min NP as a sign that my my FTP is changing. AP doesn't tell the whole story.

Since NP doesn't mean much for short durations, it could be an option for only 20min + durations.

  8. The PP chart in Strava, Golden Cheetah, etc. show peak power numbers for basically all time intervals, which is very helpful. It's nice to know if someone smashed an effort 8m long, but then you see a big drop to 10m. Or if someone has a great climb that's 45-50m long and their peak performances are on that climb, but not for 30m or 1h. Those highpoints on the curve are impossible to see with the big gaps in TP.

  10. Hi there
I have the TrainingPeaks Daily Workout IQ App and use it 4 times a week on my structured plan.
I am enjoying the workouts and am benefitting from them
I would like to suggest a couple of tweeks to the app though.

1 Could it be made to have cadence on the page as a lot of the workouts have a cadence target also.
2 Could the app be made a 2 page item with the second page being the workout summary as sometimes it is useful to have a reminder of what the upcoming segments are
    3…

Once you are performing the workout you are no longer in the TrainingPeaks CIQ app, instead you are back in Garmin’s workout interface. We are not able to directly make any modifications to Garmin’s workout interface, but we can send your feedback to the the team at Garmin. We have already sent them a request that at least one of the data fields on the workout screen be customizable. This would allow you to add cadence to that screen. Until then, you can still access all the other data screens on your Garmin device, just page left/right or up/down as usual. Even when not on the workout screen, you will still get in/out of range alerts and notifications when starting the next step along with what the new target is. You can also create a custom page with cadence and most of the workout fields. When adding data fields to…

There are multiple options for syncing Apple Health data to TrainingPeaks. This blog article lists some of the more popular apps.
    https://www.trainingpeaks.com/blog/how-to-use-trainingpeaks-with-your-apple-watch/

The HealthFIt app is probably the most robust of the syncing apps, as it supports these 13 wellness metrics:
    - HRV
    - RHR
    - Steps
    - Sleeps (hours and numberTimeWoken)
    - body weight
    - body fat
    - bmi
    - spo2
    - blood pressure
    - water consumption
    - Insulin delivery
    - blood glucose
    - menstruation

  12. Using free-ride segments in Zwift is often used for short max efforts. Now its not possible to export certain blocks as a free-ride segment i.s.o. a steady-state segment. This means you still need to edit the workout in Zwift.

A solution would be that a block set to 0 watt would be exported to a free-ride segment for a Zwift workout.

RPE based workouts can now be exported to Zwift. These workouts use Free Ride blocks along with text messages to communicate the target RPE. During a free ride block the trainer will be in ERG mode and respond to changes in the simulator. This is a good option for building FTP test workouts since the trainer will not be locked in to a specific power target.

  13. Love the new Workout builder, but would like to measure by zones. Easier to select zone than to reenter the %HR since I've already the appropriate ranges for each zone in setup.

Great suggestion. We’ve struggled with this as the workout may be created based on a zone methodology different from an athlete’s or multiple athletes’ zones. Thus Zone 2 per the workout may not map correctly to different users depending on each users’ specific zone settings. We will continue to look into this as we agree planning and execution of workouts is often based on zones – we’re just wanting to ensure if we do enable this, it’s usable for athletes with differing zone settings/methodologies. Thanks for your feedback!

  14. Would be great to be able to have units as say statute for bike& run but metric for swim as we have 25mtr pools in uk?
Most uk athletes I know run & bike in miles but swim in Mtrs.

At this point, you can change your specific swim units within your workout separate from your overall unit settings. Unfortunately, swimming is the only category we’ve enabled separate units for at this time. Thanks for your feedback.

  15. I see a real need for the TP Coaching Edition to have the functionality to be used offline when connectivity is not available so you can write programs. When service is established, a synch would occur.

Thanks so much for your feedback. While we agree that off-line planning mode would provide an opportunity for training prep and analysis when connectivity is not available, this would require a major redesign of our platform and thus not something we could tackle in the near-term.

  16. Add Efficiency Factor and other advanced metrics to the Reporting Dashboard Chart.

These are extremely useful metrics, but they do no good when buried in the workout details.

It would be helpful to chart them over time, and correlate them against other metrics in the scatter plot

  17. It would be great to be able to import and export workout libraries into a format that could be uploaded into other types of coaching software (e.g. Commit Swimming, etc.) or used with one's own Excel spreadsheets.

  18. I understand the intent of the pre-activity notes but from a user standpoint it does not make sense to me. Please consider a user accessible pre-activity section to record technique comments aside from the actual workout specifics. As a self coached athlete I would find this area useful to input work out tips and techniques to consider or pre-race focus ideas... Restricted areas within a personal training log don't make sense to me as a user... Please consider this as an RFE..

  19. The premium accounts need to have a function in which I can create a training plan, save it in a personal library, and then apply and reapply as needed. I run several of the same races every year and want to simply apply a plan. I know I can copy a week, but going week by week from a year ago to "today" is an unnecessary step in what should be a click and drop style solution.

Space is at a premium in the calendar view, so we are consider other options. In the meantime, you can configure the date range of the dashboard Summary Report to be This Week, Last Week, or Next Week. That will show you the data that you are looking for.
