stop adding average pace to RPE workouts
I’d like to request that TrainingPeaks stop automatically adding average pace to RPE-based runs. I use RPE specifically for prescribing trail runs, where pace is highly dependent on the route and terrain. However, the system keeps adding an average pace, which is not relevant in these cases.
Manually deleting the pace is time-consuming, and it often reappears anyway. While I advise my athletes to ignore it, some still see it as a target, which defeats the purpose of using RPE. At this point, it feels like I may as well prescribe pace instead, which I want to avoid for the…

time in hr zone by year chart
Like the time in hr zones by week chart, I'd like to see the opition for time in hr zones by year so we can compare year over year training time and distribution

comments per exercise on new strength
I am trying out the new Strength entry and comparing it to what I use now in another app. One thing that would be very helpful is if we could enter comments with each exercise not just on the entire workout. I leave notes for the next workout or tell my coach how that specific exercise went or an altercation to the workout for whatever reason. Thank you

Hiding notes in a dynamic plan
I've noticed that's it's not possible to hide notes in a dynamic plan. Could this feature be turned on please? It would greatly help with programming and saves me time having to then go into individual calendars and hide the note until I'm ready for it to be visible.

Request for Design Revision: Improving Readability and Usability
The recently introduced web design update has significantly reduced readability and usability. In particular, the font size and typography make it difficult to clearly recognize activities and their descriptions. The previous layout was much clearer and easier to read.
Additionally, the line spacing, especially in the description preview, is too large. As a result, less content fits on the screen, and I have to scroll more frequently to get a complete overview of my training plan. The changed formatting of numbers in the calendar has also negatively impacted readability.
I strongly urge a redesign to improve readability and clarity. A…

Change TP back to the way it was a week or so ago. The new colors, faint text is terrible. What were you thinking?!
A literal pain in the eye to get close to see the very faint text. TP has done it again, un-needed changes when everything finally was back to working pretty good most of the time. Why did you all change things to pastel colors. faint text, just terrible! Go back!

Having strength workouts part of the weekly snapshot
Strength workouts should be included in your weekly snapshot, it’s supposed to show your “weekly snapshot” so why would a strength workout not be part of that?
They were a few weeks ago, seems silly to void them now as it makes is difficult to see what work we have done each day without looking over everything.10 votes -
Possibility to custom graphs
Customized graphs are needed in general, but specifically, as an exercise physiologist, I would like to have the possibility to compare training sessions of an athlete, and different athletes that complete the same session.

Athlete comments
As a coach with an unlimited subscription, there shouldn't be a restriction on my account because my athletes are on basic subscriptions. The limited notifications from the basic athletes is a real pain. I have to go into each account to see if a comment was left. This information should be pushed to me regardless of my athlete's subscription status. I should also have full access to their training metrics.

Integration of Polar Data (HRV, Resting Heart Rate, Sleep) in TrainingPeaks
Dear TrainingPeaks Team,
As a coach, I see a growing need for a holistic approach to coaching, where not only training data but also lifestyle factors such as HRV, resting heart rate, and sleep play a crucial role. Polar provides valuable insights in this area, and it would be incredibly beneficial if TrainingPeaks could integrate this data directly into the platform.
Currently, TrainingPeaks already supports data from Garmin and Whoop, which is a great step towards providing a complete picture of an athlete or client. As an organization, we aim to use data carriers and wearables independently of specific brands,…

Font size & workout blocks in new look Home updates list are unwieldy.
Please shrink the workout boxes and comment font back to what they were before the recent update. A lot of my athletes comment extensively. I catch these via the Home Update list on the right of the screen. At a glance, it seems like I am getting about half the information within the screen that I am accustomed to.

Strength number of set for circuit and timer
When doing the strength training in mobile app. It could be great to show number of set or/and a check mark on each set.
For time base exercises, could be great to have an integrated timer.1 vote -
On Calendar web page, under Summary, I would urge your team to add "Planned Done" above numbers for Total Duration, Total TSS, etc.
Please see mockup.

Add or change strength exercises mid workout
Very often weights or a machine are being used and we need to swap the planned exercise for something similar. Like the BB bench is busy, so we can do DB bench press instead. Or we want to add something we didn't program previously.

New Calendar Look
The New Calendar Look on the desktop feels too white-wahsed. Run and Walk icons look nearly identical (minus the heal being lifted). Previously the training file icons had more and different color to them. On quick glance, the previous icons were easier to identify. I feel this week for me, writing schedules has taken 1.5x as long.

Metrics Window Too Large
I may be missing something, but when using the Training Peaks website on an iPad the metrics window is too large. The command buttons on the bottom are not visible, and cannot be scrolled to.

New web is font difficult to read & activity icons unclear
While I am all for updates, I find the new style and size of the font on the web version updates make it very difficult to view activities clearly, or read text below the activity name.
The activity name and basic states used to be much bolder and larger sized font. The text below is now so small, I am now unable to read this without significantly increasing the screen size in my browser settings.
The activity icons are not as clear and bold as they used to be and I find myself having to really try to focus on…30 votes -
Have last 42 days (and last 42 and next 7) as one of the timescale for the PMC
Hi TP. have you considered having last 42 days (and last 42 + next 7) as one (2) of the timescale options on the performance management chart. as CTL is the average TSS over the last 42 day it would be useful to look at so you can see quickly what TSS is about to drop out of the 42 day window (you already have last 28 days and last month which are so close that maybe you could drop one of them).

Hide map for a workout
I have an athlete of who his location should remain secret at certain points in time. To see his progress, it would be great to have an option that his location could be hidden, so I can still see the workouts that he's doing.

The new blue color is too contrasted
The new 2025 redesigned blue color in some places is too contrasted and "painful" to see.
Reduce the contrast of the blue color, also the accessibility tool should help with it.20 votes
