  1. Hi, I'm an exercise physiologist & coach. I often run into a scenario where I test an athlete and input new heart rate zones based off the results into the athletes training peaks account. Then when I want to look at dashboard metrics related to heart rate (I.e. time in heart rate zones) on this athlete, the outdated zone numbers are all I can see on dashboard. To my understanding, I need to go into each individual workout and recalculate (see image attached) every workout within the dashboard chart timeline I choose.

For example, I test someone and have to…

  2. I'm a coach with a large (50 person) team, all following the same basic periodization scheme for their year. It would be amazing if either (or both!) of the following capabilities existed:
    1. Ability for a coach to copy & paste a "basic" annual training plan from athlete to athlete. I can apply a weekly plan to multiple athletes, but I can't do the same for the ATP - I have to build it from scratch for every athlete.
    2. Ability to see an "ATP View" for a training plan that I load into an athlete. For example, if you…

  3. Select better weather forecast service. For me, all recent forecasts (7 days) were off and upcoming forecasts are out of sync with the major apps. That can certainly be improved. If I would have acted according to the recent forecasts, I would have not been out cycling at all for 7 days. Instead I had 5 great rides, 2 days off.

  4. Hi TP

    I need a little help.

Each runner can enter their events into TP. But I need a way to export this CSV this information into excel, or at least an overview. It is a huge task demand to manage this.

    Can you help me out?

  5. My Apple Watch data often ends up detached from the actual prescribed workout regardless of if I set the workout to the same description. This is manageable however it then also likes to sometimes take the watch data from the first workout of the day and attach it to the second one instead of the first. I then can not detach the data and make it separate or better attach it to the correct workout. I feel that manually being able to attach HR data/edit the attachment is something that could easily be integrated and would make my life and…

  6. I can only pay for my coaching account via a debit/credit card and not via Paypal. Any plans I sell, TP only pay to Paypal and not back to my credit card or direct to a bank account (preferable option).

I have to move money from a paypal account to a bank account and incur transactions fees from Paypal for doing this. As from the 1 January 2024, Paypal have advised that they will be charging VAT applicable to my country and I will only be able to claim back the VAT at the end of a financial year when…

  7. I have a new athlete who uses an Apple watch and her run comes through as one lap. TP helpdesk has said this is the way the file comes to them and that Apple will label the mile laps in their native app but they are not automatically writing them into the file itself.
While I understand the information provided by the Apple file, I still find the absence of labelled laps in the analyse section of TraingPeaks a bit perplexing, especially considering the investment I've made in TrainingPeaks Premium accounts for my athletes. It seems like a basic feature…

  8. it would be nice, if it is possible to add Fat/Carbohydrate- and of course the overall energy Combustion data from a lab test (e.g. Inscyd, Spiro) to the training zones. So it would be possible to automatically calculate e.g. the fat/carbohydrate combustion during a training session/training week. I think, that would be a great improvement For all coaches, who use those lab tests. Other Platforms (todays plans, azum) already have this feature...

  9. Basic athletes recieve notifications when the coach gives feedback on a session. Feedback is an integral part of coaching and basic athletes are missing this because they do not know when a coach has commented on their session. They should get notifications without having to upgrade to premium and pay for it.

  10. If workouts are accidently deleted there should be a trash functionality to be able to restore those workouts.
This might happen if you synch your training plan to your sportswatch and you want to do today`s acutal training session later and just go for a little commute or something else.

Is anyone else struggling with this?

  11. As a coach. It happens very often that i have to create the same race events for several athletes during the Atp creation/edit. this leads to a duplication and wasting of time. i suggest to split event creations in a shared season calendar and the athlete specific goal for that event in his own ATP so to reuse the events already created.

  12. Create option for comments to be ‘personal’ or ‘coach-athlete’. The practice of reflecting on training post-session is beneficial for training outcomes, but not necessarily appropriate for coach-athlete communication regularly. An athlete may receive more benefit from TP as a tool if they can comment within the workout for themselves only and/or coach.

  13. using the functionality you've already developed for the new strength builder workout, can you add a skill development workout option where we can program drills into workouts? This would be great for more technical sports.

  14. Add option to protect workouts from being copied to an athlete library to protect coach-developed workouts. I realize it won't fully stop copying but it will make it harder.

  15. Some devises take away the mile or km's from a structured workout or some athletes take turn lap off. Please add a show miles/KM laps option rather than having to highlight the graph. being able to change the distances along the bottom of the graph from miles to km and back again within analysis would also help with a small line where the mile/km starts would also help when highlighting sections by dragging

  16. Improve rTSS calculation method. Currently it is based exclusively on average pace. So if you do a hard workout, say that gives you 80 rTSS points, and then you jog to cool down, the rTSS score diminishes. Let's say to 70. This makes absolutely no sense. The algorithm needs to be changed to actually make sense. Since I learned this, I end my workout before cooling down. So I either disregard the cool down TSS, or I have to upload two different workouts.

If you look at the lap chart, you will quickly see that in an interval workout the…

  18. I do not want to receive an email every time an athlete completes a workout. I need to know when they post a comment, but my inbox is flooded with "Workout Completed" emails. I can selectively turn off the notifications with the app, why can't I do it with the emails as well??

  19. I’d love to see a bulk-edit feature for workouts, especially useful for runners like me who switch to treadmill training in winter. Currently, my Garmin Watch records inaccurate pace data on the treadmill, even with calibration, which only adjusts the average pace. This results in skewed metrics like TSS and Peak Performance.

When I program interval training in TrainingPeaks, each segment is recorded as a separate lap. To correct the data, I'd like the option to manually enter a single pace value for each lap, rather than editing every second of data individually. This would save significant time and ensure…

  20. The bulk recalculate TSS should have a feature to choose hrTSS vs TSS. Currently, if I change my pace swim threshold, it defaults all swims to hrTSS. This means I have to go back manually through each swim and change it to sTSS.
