  1. Feature Description:
    We propose adding a new feature that provides personalized training suggestions based on daily performance metrics and overall health status. This feature will utilize TrainingPeaks' existing metrics, including Training Stress Score (TSS), Fitness (CTL), Fatigue (ATL), and Form (TSB), to offer tailored advice for morning and evening training sessions, as well as adjustments for the following day and week. Additionally, the feature will suggest updates to the Annual Training Plan (ATP) and focus on A races in the athlete's calendar.

    Purpose:
    The primary goal of this feature is to help self-trained athletes optimize their training by providing real-time,…

  2. The latest 'refresh' is difficult on the eyes and washed out. Can't make everyone happy, I know, but give us the option for a dark mode or different themes to choose from and don't change them, please and thank you.

  3. Details:
    1. The idea is to set the amount of time spends in every training zone in the exercise

    1. For example (for zones S1-S7):

    We have 2:30h training which consists of:
    - 20min preecool, S1-S2
    - sets for LT: 5x5min S4, 3min breaks S1
    - 20min cooling, S1
    - power intevals: 3x1min S6, 5min breaks S1
    - S2 to the end of the training

    And the coach can set (during presribing the training) time in every zone, in a separate window/section in an exercise view:

    S1 = 40min
    S2 = 82min
    S3 = 0min
    S4 = 25min
    S5 = 0min…

  5. I would like to be able to see upcoming and recent workouts (7 days in either direction would be nice).

    Use cases include sitting on a plane, or when I'm roaming and trying to minimize data usage.

  7. In the workout details there should be an option to sepcify the incline for each block.

    This is especially useful when doing the workout on a TechnoGym Myrun treadmill (among possibly others as well) where the treadmill speed is automatically adjusted to the workout block but the incline is reset to 0% after each block. (Which is btw a bug in the TrainingPeaks or TechnoGym implementation, if not implmented it should at least not reset to 0 after each block)

  8. I have been tracking blood pressure and weight with the help of Withings devices for some time now. Both are synchronized from Withings to Training Peaks.

    Recently I've added body temperature to the metrics I track with Withings; however there is no body temperature field in TP metrics for me to enter them, and oviously it is also not being synchronized.

    Would be great if this field could be added, and an import from withings implemented.

  9. Can you make the scale on the y axis of the charts dynamic so the user can zoom in or out? Often there is a lot of wasted space on the y axis or a few outlier data points skew the scale of the chart. I would like to be able to have more dymamic ability to see smaller changes in my workouts.

  11. At the moment you can only choose between power or heart rate zones when building a workout. As not all athletes have a powermeter it is quite laborious to consider that fact and prescribe the workout with the right zones (power or heart rate). If multiple zones (heart rate, power RPE or other...) can be displayed in a prescribed workout you no longer have to think about wether the athlete has a power meter or not.

  12. As a coach, this is killing us. Every time an athlete completes a workout - they have to be ranked and compared to the TP data base? This is so disheartening for so many athletes who are at the back of the pack, running 14-15 mm and cycling at 90 watts. Honestly, this should be optional. As a coach, we should be able to have access to this to turn it off. And, the athlete, should be able to opt in or out of this. We are not winning races in training and this feature should absolutely be optional.

    Some…

  15. the new strength workout builder does not currently sync to WKO (unlike the old version of the strength workout). This is very frustrating, and currently my workaround is to create a duplicate workout using the old strength workout, so that I do have one which has sync'd to WKO.

  16. User story: As a user, I would like all my training sessions (including strength) to sync with my calendar so that I can effectively plan my schedule and coordinate with my coach.

    Background: The current feature only includes some workouts so it means the calendar sync feature only provides partial coverage of your plan and you have to toggle between TP and your calendars to plan effectively.

  17. It would be helpful if the new strength workout builder could also be ordered in the calendar view. For example now it is always set before a cycling workout and I cannot switch it with the cycling workout, so that it is set afterwards (as it was possible with the old builder).

  19. As other coaches have mentioned here, it would be great if we could prescribe strength training based on percentages of 1RM.

    In addition, something very simple and essential is the addition of a field for interval time between sets, which could contain a timer for the athlete to keep track of. As already seen in other apps.

    Also, as I have seen mentioned here, a field for linking sets of the same block, such as A1 + A2 in a "super set" and A3 separately, but in the same block.

    In the "reps" field, it would be interesting to have…

  20. A literal pain in the eye to get close to see the very faint text. TP has done it again, un-needed changes when everything finally was back to working pretty good most of the time. Why did you all change things to pastel colors. faint text, just terrible! Go back!
