  1. I would like to see paddle sprots added as a workout type. This workout type would be able to cover

    Outrigger Paddling
    Standup paddleboard
    K1
    C1
    Kayaking
    Canoeing
    Dragon Boat
    Whitewater Rafting
    Surf Ski
    Paddleboarding

    Training Peaks is used for more than Bike, Run, Swim. I heard a podcast with Dirk Friel recently and he stated "Other" was the largest growing sport sector currently. Adding a general "Paddle Sport" would allow you to enable a lot of functionality across all of the sport types I listed making TrainingPeaks great for water endurance sports.

  2. Provide requested platform integrations with FasCat Coaching's Optimize/CoachCat system to provide at a minimum, calendar/planned workout syncing.

  3. Currently once you start a workout which has been created in the new strength workout builder, you cannot alter some of the key parameters (e.g. adding sets, merging to create supersets, etc). This kind of functionality is so useful (and is built into the free versions of apps like 'Strength Log'). It would be great to have this available as part of the TP version.

    Also not sure why you can only create the workout on the desktop app, and then only execute it on the mobile app?

  4. the new strength workout builder does not currently sync to WKO (unlike the old version of the strength workout). This is very frustrating, and currently my workaround is to create a duplicate workout using the old strength workout, so that I do have one which has sync'd to WKO.

  5. Can you add "Hiking" or "Backpacking" as an activity type? Walking and Running don't cover these two activity types and athletes want to be able to specify.

  7. when I look at all of my workouts, I want to be able to click and hold on a workout, and then move it to a different day. Kinda like the home screen of an iPhone, clicking, and holding on an app, makes them all shake.

  8. New strength builder is a good step in right direction. However, basically every gym app has section for history/analytics where a user can easily check progression and different kind of graphs. We need that too.

    Also, it is a very easy task to look a few popular gym apps like Strong and see how history/analytics has been done. And what other features they have... ;)

  10. Hi,

    it would be great if I could add certain comments into TP that would be included in the PMC. For example, I contracted Covid twice end in the winter training season 2023/2024 and eventually it took me 4 months to reach the same CTL level that I had at the beginning of the first infection.

    It would be nice to mark the beginning and end of the infection period or mark training camps.

  11. Hi,

    I'm doing lab testing once or twice a year including an indirect calorimetry. It would be nice if I were able to feed back the results of those tests into TrainingPeaks and/or WKO5.

    I'm sure the model could be made more accurate and perhaps, it might be possible to even come up with an estimation of how many grams of fat and carbohydrates I've burned in an exercise using the calorimetry's results.

  12. In addition to being able to specifying heart rate ranges as percentages of threshold or maximum heart rate, it would be helpful to be able to specify HR range values directly.

    As a motivating example, I have a heart rate zone that has an upper limit of 124 BPM. My threshold HR is currently 164. When building a workout using % of threshold HR and choosing that zone, the upper end of the range ends up being 125 BPM instead of 124 BPM because it is snapped to 76% of threshold HR.   13. Currently if you have a training of certain type, all activities with matching type will be automatically matched with training and mark completed. As a consequence, training will disappear from garmin connect and won't sync with devices. The only way to force the training to show on garmin is to go to web and unpair the activities, which is not easy when you have access only to mobile device.

    Idea is to set a "matching percentage threshold" which allows activity to be matched with training automatically. For example if Training length is set to 60minutes and activity is below 80%…

  14. Current Challenge:
    As a coach, I have numerous athletes who sign up for various marathon events. For instance, if 10 of my athletes are participating in the same marathon, I currently have to create an individual event for each athlete. This process is cumbersome and time-consuming.

    Proposed Enhancement:
    I propose that TrainingPeaks introduce a feature to create events in a centralized manner and then apply these events to multiple athletes, similar to how training plans are created and assigned. Here are the key features of this enhancement:

  15. Need to be able to filter CTL etc on Calendar and ATP, like you can with the Performance Mgmt Dashboard. If I track Strength with Garmin, I get TSS, which is great, but then I can't differentiate the TSS that is for my running. I had to stop tracking Strength training because of this screwing up my ATP tracking, which I use to target my race and lead up.

  16. I have several Triathlon Athletes customers, I prepare every week or every two weeks their train for that period, describing day by day what is the train for that day
    Example as follow.
    2024-08-05 , Swim Strength, Swim, warming 10 minutes and swim 3000 in 45 minutes,
    2024-08-06 Running improvements, Run, warming 10 minutes slow and 20 minutes strong (morning), fast climbing,
    2024-08-6 Cycling resistance, Bike, 10 minutes fast pace, 15 minutes slow pace and 10 minutes very fast, 3 times (afternoon), minimum 45Km in total

  17. I don't see where the new strength workout includes TSS or IF for a completed workout. And it also seems that the auto sync for Apple and for Garmin doesn't pair either. Strength workouts add stress so they should have a TSS!

  18. It would be great to be able to upload videos directly from iPhoto/your phone downloads. I don’t want to upload my videos to YouTube or Vimeo so this is a real blocker for me.

  19. To prescribe strength workouts using RPE, you have to enter these details in the coaching comments section...this is a laborious and inflexible solution to programming strength workouts using RPE (like the endurance workout builder allows).

    My suggestion is to include RPE as a parameter in building strength workouts. This would vastly improve each workout's flexibility, precision, and presentation.

  20. Workout view

    Replace the (now defunct) small minimal detail roll over window on workouts with the new vertical full detail view meaning users don’t have to click to view. All functionality already there. Remove a click and make it faster to locate workouts

    Have any click on the new workout view open the edit delete move and duplicate options rather than two clicks to open the menu and then again to select the function

    When dashes or dots are used to separate or delineate workouts have them also fill a complete line in the full detail view. At the moment…
