  1. Build HR Based Workout to Complete on TP Virtual "Scheduled"

    Currently, only % power workouts built in TP will show up in TP Virtual. Many of us use HR based metrics, and we cant even build a workout to follow on the TP Virtual. Just replacing the intervals on the side with HR targets and the time automatically progressing through the intervals would suffice. We dont need a bunch of notifications telling us where our HR is relative to the interval.

  2. We can embed videos on the new strength training feature. Many coaches link video explanations in the notes, it would be useful to have that video within the TP app without having to click a link and leave.

  3. Please allow specifying a rep range for strength workout exercises, not just a target rep. The New Strength Builder is a great step in the right direction to fully-functional programming of strength workouts in TrainingPeaks, but it is still missing critical features like this.

    Being able to specify the rep range is important for communicating and adhering to the workout plan. For example, if the coach programs 4 reps with the mindset of "at least 4" and the athlete executes 3 because it is "about 4", this is quite different than if the coach programs 15 reps intending a range…

  5. enable the importing of macro information from Macrosfirst nutrition app. They are eager to integrate with you and essentially ready to connect. It's a better app than MFP, imo.

  7. I do not want to receive an email every time an athlete completes a workout. I need to know when they post a comment, but my inbox is flooded with "Workout Completed" emails. I can selectively turn off the notifications with the app, why can't I do it with the emails as well??

  8. For example,

    • a kind of diary/annual plan, in which the workouts are less detailed but especially the detailed supplementation schedule can be added to certain periods, where altitude training can be planned, where medical reports/check-ups or physio screenings can be uploaded...
      Ideally, this would then have an output function/reference/link to the detailed workout schedule.

    • An overview of all the 'team members' with a brief summary on past training load, injuries, HRV/RHR, their next race goal... could be interesting as well.

    • Having a possibility to chat with other coaches, nutritionists, doctors through different accounts about a certain shared athlete will be…

  9. This would include a profile generating tool. These files would be the responsibility of the coach (or individual) and reside in TP. The profile and workout details would be included TP, and brought up in TPV as a scheduled workout. Even Racermate has this capability and it is very useful.

  10. as a coach it would be very convenient to have the notifications in the sidebar and not as a pop up bar when you're in the calendar tap. Like this you can work through your notifications and the calendar would go from one athlete to the other without the annoying popup bar. The idea would very similar to checking you emails in preview mode in outlook for example...

  11. Would like for TP to not disregard the HR data recorded by FORM goggles in rest periods. HR often peaks during them, and disregarding them makes it impossible to track the TSS of workouts recorded using FORM goggles.

    Currently TP only shows the heart rate recorded by FORM goggles during swim sets, disregarding it during rest periods. I see the HR data is there when i upload it into the Garmin website, so it must be actively removed by TP.

  12. It would be great if you could facilitate Weekly Report Generation across a group or groups of athletes.
    To think of just a few useful metrics one could include:
    TSS, duration, total distance and elevation, AP/NP, Pmax, longest ride highest EF or IF perhaps
    The reports could be done monthly, annually or date ranged perhaps for even greater functionality.

    this tool would be great a coach's own group of athletes to foster community/share learning

    it also the offers a springboard to share such data in the form of leaderboards across the whole TP community (possibly)...

    Is such a tool available…

  14. If you add multipple resting heart rate metrics per day, they get summed up in graphs! seems like the wrong way to display in my opinion.

    I had 2 metrics both around 50 bpm, on the graph it showed around 100 bpm

  16. In order to use a timer I need to switch apps on my phone however if there was a running clock on the screen while I completed my strength work I could time things like planks in one app. For example, TrainHeroic has a running timer in the top right of the screen (screenshot below for reference). Would be super helpful and the app is already timing me so I just want to see that too!

  18. I would like to save training blocks created in the builder for insertion into new or existing workouts. This prevents me from needing to enter create the same thing over and over again, such as a pre-set opener. The builder is now expected but becomes a lot of extra work.

    It would be nice to allow the upload of running workouts (zwo files). The current implementation only supports cycling workouts.

  20. Hi! I have one suggestion for the coaching site on the web. Is it possible to move the Coach Journal from the left side (under Profile & Zones) to the left side, under the metrics Fitness, Form and Fatigue?
    I usually take notes in the coach journal but I always have to go back and fourth between the coach journal and the workout libary when planning for the athletes. I upload a picture where I suggest you can put the journal.
