    • a kind of diary/annual plan, in which the workouts are less detailed but especially the detailed supplementation schedule can be added to certain periods, where altitude training can be planned, where medical reports/check-ups or physio screenings can be uploaded...
Ideally, this would then have an output function/reference/link to the detailed workout schedule.

    • An overview of all the 'team members' with a brief summary on past training load, injuries, HRV/RHR, their next race goal... could be interesting as well.

  4. Following https://peaksware.uservoice.com/forums/106657-trainingpeaks-customer-feedback/suggestions/47216450-ability-to-upload-externally-generated-structured ,

It would be nice to allow the upload of running workouts (zwo files). The current implementation only supports cycling workouts.

    Thank you!

  5. The new strength builder is great; however, I'm limited to exercises utilizing the existing "movement + video + parameters" format. Oftentimes, I like to have athletes finish a strength session with some sort of circuit (AMRAP, EMOM, etc etc). In the past, I'd just use text to explain this to them but I'm finding that the new builder doesn't allow for me to build a simple text box into the session. Having that as an option would be HUGE.

  6. Currently when tracking metrics for athletes or oneself, you must choose from a preset selection of options, which obviously does not include every possible concern. When coaching athletes with less common concerns, it would be very useful to be able to add a custom metric so that one could track that specific symptom without having to write a note about it each time. One example of this would be migraine headache. Another would be an athlete with intermittent chronotropic incompetence, or HR issues related to intermittent beta blocker usage, for example for arrhythmia or performance anxiety. Adding every foreseeable medical…

  7. Dear TrainingPeaks Team,

As a coach, I see a growing need for a holistic approach to coaching, where not only training data but also lifestyle factors such as HRV, resting heart rate, and sleep play a crucial role. Polar provides valuable insights in this area, and it would be incredibly beneficial if TrainingPeaks could integrate this data directly into the platform.

Currently, TrainingPeaks already supports data from Garmin and Whoop, which is a great step towards providing a complete picture of an athlete or client. As an organization, we aim to use data carriers and wearables independently of specific brands,…

  8. The app is very limited in its functionality, and I find the requirement to have a laptop in order to access all features frustrating, given that I am a frequent traveller and therefore depend on an effective app.For example, it would be useful to be able to create training plans within the app or to record workouts as a series so that they can be repeated on specific days.I would also like to be able to view my Garmin watch's health data in an organised way in the app. A general issue is the absence of a "cockpit" as found…

  10. I have created a new strength workout (mobility) in my calendar and planed it for today.
Two issues the planed workout doesn't show up on my Apple Watch 10. So I did a regular strength workout on the Apple Watch.
I am not able to pair the Apple Watch workout which TP was able to import to the planned strength workout. It doesn't offer the option.
Can you add pairing for strength workouts.
And can you make it possible to see a strength workout that was planned in TP in the apple workouts app.

  11. The tech world is moving at a rapid pace right now and the way we interact with our computers is changing.

As a coach with a lot of clients the process of using the web front end to add workouts is time consuming and inefficient. It's easier than ever for us to customise ways of creating and uploading training plans and comments but to do this we need proper open API access or an MCP server. This is coming to everything and TrainingPeaks should get ahead of the game.

Continuing to maintain a very closed shop here will start to…

  13. When viewing a workout, it's easy to see peak values for HR, speed, pace, cadence, power, etc. for various durations. I have often found it would be helpful in analyzing workouts even further if I could easily determine where in my workout was my lowest speed, cadence, power, HR, etc. Then easily identifying these slower parts of a run/ride could help you identify limiters and/or weaknesses that you need to improve, or possibly just areas of a workout you need better mental focus perhaps.

Would it be possible to add in future updates of the workout viewer to have these…

  14. Be able to set notification parameters to athlete's daily metrics so coaches can get notified when an athlete exceeds one -- a weight parameter which could indicate dehydration, or high morning resting HR which could indicate high fatigue, or overall fatigue level high, etc.

  15. Drag and drop can sometimes fail in TP BETA and no way of knowing until looking on the calendar. For one workout this is not a train wreck, but if you drag multiple files over and 1 or 2 of them fail, then its very time consuming and frustrating working out what has happened and putting it right.

  17. Since the PMC is supposed to be an "at a glance" chart, it will be much more intuitive to see if a day's workout is above / below the ATL/CTL plots if they all were on the same scale.

I see that this idea has been offered up before but declined in 2014. Since I no rationale was given, I thought I would bring it up again in the hope that with the all the changes you have made to TrainingPeaks it would be an easy enhancement.

Great question. We’ve continued to ponder this. We use a different Y-axis scale to display TSS, ATL and CTL so that a user is better able to discern the (relatively) small changes in CTL which are key to tracking training performance. If the TSS scale was the same as ATL and CTL, the larger changes and thus scale of TSS would likely make it difficult to easily monitor changes in CTL.

  18. I've recently came to the conclusion that certain WKO data & charts do not take a custom crank length into account.

It would be good if the crank length (accessible using the cranklength expression variable) could be sent along with the activity data from TP to WKO, and used for data & charts of that activity in WKO.

I think this can be solved in a rather generic & future proof way.
    - Add an 'equipment' property to an activity when sending data from TP to WKO.
    - This property can include things like the bike used for the activity,…

  20. I sometimes have a short sleep in the afternoon or after work. Or sometimes before an event, I might have short sleep. That makes my watch detect and send more than one sleep record to TP via HealthFit.
I would like to see sleep hours by day, so I will know if I have enough sleep in this period (a week or a month...). Separating the record will make me confused if I don't have enough sleep in that day.
