  1. Please add labels to chart columns in the TrainingPeaks web and mobile apps, both the data field of the column and the data itself. This is an industry standard feature and practice in presenting data effectively. It will make the charts much more visually useful. I realize that you can hover your mouse over each column and see the data, but we need to be able to see all this summary data in the chart. See attached mock up. Thank you!

    Thank you for the suggestion. Adding the labels to the Time in Zones charts works well, but we have a few charts that can show 52 or more columns, and that is where things start to breakdown. But this is something we will consider in the future.

  2. EQUIPMENT CONFIGURATION
    1) Create a universal equipment type
    2) Build groups of universal equipment into "configuration"
    3) Allow for designation of configurations and additions/removals of pieces of equipment for an activity

    Example:

    Equipment: road bike frame, training wheels, race wheels
    Configuration A: road bike frame, training wheels
    Configuration B: road bike frame, race wheels

    Solves at least 5 separate equipment-related suggestions.

  3. Provide a way to see Peek Performances for NP, not just AP. I typically watch my 60min NP as a sign that my my FTP is changing. AP doesn't tell the whole story.

    Since NP doesn't mean much for short durations, it could be an option for only 20min + durations.

  4. The TSS is only auto calculated for walking and running, not for strength training, hiking or yoga. Can you please add automatic TSS calculations for all actives so that the TSS graphs overtime are correct and account for all activities.

  5. I use a watch of a brand that cannot be used with training peaks. I would like it to be added as compatible. My watch is Amazfit and the app that uses is called Zepp

  6. I would like my coach to be able to add specific recovery items so I can be as optimal as possible. For example: when to use Normatec boots, sauna, ice baths, specific stretching/mobility after workout. Currently the option is to add something that was done as other. Recovery is just as important as the workout.

  7. Due to displaying multiple scales on the same chart and that the data is fairly well-bounded, the plots of metrics feels very "choppy." It'd be nice to have an option to display data in a rolling average form to smooth it out. Businesses already do this for displaying YoY data for the same reason. See attached screenshot as an example.

  8. Add a metric to the post activity data that shows the elevation gain per distance (ie Feet per Mile) for a run/bike/hike. Add a Dashboard bar graph that shows the weekly elevation gain per distance over time. For more mountainous events, this metric has an increasing training importance.

  10. I can’t seem to build an ATP in the app, but if I try to login to the full website it says I’m using an iPad (correct) and forces me back into the app, where I can’t do it!! So basically I have to have a laptop to set up my initial plan? Or if I’ve misunderstood please can you point me in the direction of guidance on how to do it in the app? Or how I can log into the website from an iPad?

  11. Right now gear logging is buried at the very bottom of the activity page on mobile. It is easy for it to end up “out of sight, out of mind.” It would be great if it were more prominent, and I would love it if the screen for “RPE/How did you feel?” included it, but even just having it near the top of the workout view instead of the bottom would be helpful!

  12. Currently you can't recalculate run workouts with power, so if they load with the wrong threshold you have to recalculate them manually!

  15. Sometimes there's some info that it's interesting to add to your workout to share with youre trainer. In my case, I have a nimbers sheet with all the details about what I have eaten in my long sessions. I would love to add the file, or much better, an screenshot. Many thanks!

  16. I don't use email notifications for most athletes (just 'gold' ) so would prefer that anyone who gets premium account isn't automatically turned on for email notifications - would be nice to have default OFF vs. On or provide that option.

  17. Please allow specifying a rep range for strength workout exercises, not just a target rep. The New Strength Builder is a great step in the right direction to fully-functional programming of strength workouts in TrainingPeaks, but it is still missing critical features like this.

    Being able to specify the rep range is important for communicating and adhering to the workout plan. For example, if the coach programs 4 reps with the mindset of "at least 4" and the athlete executes 3 because it is "about 4", this is quite different than if the coach programs 15 reps intending a range…

  18. Strength training is a core element of my training strategy, so I am excited that TrainingPeaks is improving support for programming strength workouts. In addition to other requested features here, I would like to be able to prescribe the number of warm-up sets for a given exercise. This is distinct from the warm-up exercises that already exist.

    In my training plan it is important to distinguish that although only 1-2 sets may be "working" sets, there are also several warm-up sets performed at significantly lower weight and reps. From a UX perspective, it is challenging to communicate this when there…

  19. Prohibit an athlete from deleting a planned workout. They can move them around but no workouts can be deleted. Locking currently just stops them from moving workouts and deleting but sometimes athletes need to move workouts and they accidentally delete. Also need an undo function
