Compare Power To Professional Riders Feature
Using the new Stack Up feature, it would be nice to also be able to compare power to individual / specific professional cyclists as well as the existing general Training Peaks family.

Equipment Change during sessions
Allow equipment changes during the session. For example, I do my warm-up with one pair of shoes and after that, I switch to my spikes or race shoes. Maybe a manual interface, where you enter the distances for each piece of equipment.

Cumulative Training Volume
There should be a report on available on the Dashboard that shows stats like cumulative training time, distance, and elevation gain. I'm shocked that I have to go to a Strava account to get these features... Cumulative elevation isn't even available in CSV file exports.
Consider opening the Data Exports to have selectable fields for export (that include all of the fields that are currently captured for any individual workout or available to report on in the dashboard).

A report where I can see all my post-activity comments, without going into each single activity.
I keep a separate diary in Excel for all my post-activity comments. I don't put them in TP because it is impossible to get a good list of all comments. With a list I can see patterns. Now in TP there is a very limited view in the calendar. Just make a report listing all post/pre activity comments

Sort out your database!
Come on Training Peaks - get it sorted please!
The delays to the interface loading on my Macbook remind me of a dial up connection in the 1990s!
I understand you had issues a few months ago but nothing has improved in my experience - 20 minutes now since I clicked refresh and all I'm seeing is blank athlete training calendars.

Mountain Bike zones use bikeing zones
It would be nice if Mountain Biking workouts used my biking HR zones instead of the running HR zones.

Need to be able to "FAVORITE" Training Plans
Similar to another users suggestion of having currently ACTIVE Training Plans highlighted, there should be a way to categorize Training Plans or at least mark certain plans as FAVORITES so they are easier to find when needed. As it stands now, if you want me to purchase any more plans I am hesitant because it gums up all the ones I have making it even more difficult to figure out which ones I want to use or have used in the past. Let me categorize them as either favorites, 70.3, 140.6, marathon, 50k, off season, etc., etc.....

Custom Data Export
It'd be great to be able to customize what data you could export:
- HRM
- Avg NGP
- Peak pace
- etc...I tend to manually enter data from TP into separate spreadsheets for athletes that I coach and would save a lot of time with a customized data export option.

Allow open API
Please allow non-commercial open API access to athletes workout data to allow easier exporting and direct data access from outside TP. This would create an ecosystem of apps which may further enhance TP capabilities while keeping TP the central source for all user sports and health data
In my particular use case I log everyday training data from PowerBreathe device into TP. The data is structured in Notes fields. I would now love an easy mechanism to access this data via a TP API to track progress.
In addition I also log every sports doctor visit. It would be great…

protect coach IPO
Add option to protect workouts from being copied to an athlete library to protect coach-developed workouts. I realize it won't fully stop copying but it will make it harder.

Peak power graph colours need a re-do
My peak power graph in dashboard shows grey and purple in the legend (last 3 months versus last 2 years) but in the graph itself both lines are purple, one being darker than the other, with no grey in there at all.

I'm not sure how to incorporate this, but including sleep hours/quality into the TSS calculation would give a more accurate assessment of fatigue level and help guide training choices.
4 votesI think what you are looking for is a way to incorporate other factors in to the TSB calc, but then it would not be Training Stress Balance anymore. HRV is another metric that you may find useful as well. We plan to add HRV as a metric in the future. Currently you can plot sleep metrics on the PMC in our mobile apps. This blog post briefly touches on that:

split work out
Is there a possibility to split (manually) run and bike times in training peaks after a duatlon
4 votesCurrently there is not a way to split a workout and create new workouts for each part, but there is a work around for what you are trying to accomplish. Upload the file twice, to two different workouts, and then edit each workout to only be the bike or run segment. This support page should help.

pseudo-log time scale for extended PMC viewing
May I suggest a stepped reverse log scale for the time axis to display the PMC?
Daily for the most important last 28-60days,
Weekly for the preceding quarter,
Monthly for the preceding year
Quarterly back 5-6 years
Annual beyond that.
(Or something along those lines)
This gives us a way to look at where we are coming from, without sacrificing the detail of the recent history. Some if us have been w TP for many years and I certainly like like to look back, comparing my fitness progress to previous training bouts.
Wanna go teal fancy? Show a "magnifying glass"…
4 votesThere are features in WKO4 that will be able to help you solve this problem, but in a slightly different way. The pseudo-log like scale is interesting, it may only work with CTL we would need to test it out.

Some meaningful metrics for sprinters?
Current metrics only work for endurance sessions and a really hard strength workout on the bike can give very low figures for TSS, IF and calories. This affects the graphs for CTL, ATL and make it more difficult to assess a race taper.

Require email when plan is sold
When someone buys a training plan, their email should be included in the info provided so the coach can follow up.
4 votesWe can (and do) provide the purchaser’s email address when the buyer has consented to receive additional information in their user settings.

Scroll between people
Scroll between people is great. I see you tried to get it in, it doesnt work correcty. Even more fasten and simpler is to show 3 names.
Like this< sander, mark, judith
Mark is shown. You can pres judith and its teh next, you can press sander and its the previous.
Good luck.

mynetdiary
Having used both apps side by side for weeks, I find MyNetDiary to be a cleaner faster UI than My Fitness Pal. I find the MND accuracy at least as good if not better than MFP. I find in fitness threads that MND has a userbase that is not being recognized, and many of these users want TP integration. I think overall almost every athlete at this point wishes for ONE platform that will capture any and all the metrics that athlete wants to measure and that all the athletes preferred vendors would just sync and share this information. I…
