  1. The new strength builder is great; however, I'm limited to exercises utilizing the existing "movement + video + parameters" format. Oftentimes, I like to have athletes finish a strength session with some sort of circuit (AMRAP, EMOM, etc etc). In the past, I'd just use text to explain this to them but I'm finding that the new builder doesn't allow for me to build a simple text box into the session. Having that as an option would be HUGE.

  2. Currently when tracking metrics for athletes or oneself, you must choose from a preset selection of options, which obviously does not include every possible concern. When coaching athletes with less common concerns, it would be very useful to be able to add a custom metric so that one could track that specific symptom without having to write a note about it each time. One example of this would be migraine headache. Another would be an athlete with intermittent chronotropic incompetence, or HR issues related to intermittent beta blocker usage, for example for arrhythmia or performance anxiety.     As a coach, I see a growing need for a holistic approach to coaching, where not only training data but also lifestyle factors such as HRV, resting heart rate, and sleep play a crucial role. Polar provides valuable insights in this area, and it would be incredibly beneficial if TrainingPeaks could integrate this data directly into the platform.

  5. When viewing a workout, it's easy to see peak values for HR, speed, pace, cadence, power, etc. for various durations. I have often found it would be helpful in analyzing workouts even further if I could easily determine where in my workout was my lowest speed, cadence, power, HR, etc. Then easily identifying these slower parts of a run/ride could help you identify limiters and/or weaknesses that you need to improve, or possibly just areas of a workout you need better mental focus perhaps.

  6. Drag and drop can sometimes fail in TP BETA and no way of knowing until looking on the calendar. For one workout this is not a train wreck, but if you drag multiple files over and 1 or 2 of them fail, then its very time consuming and frustrating working out what has happened and putting it right.

  8. Since the PMC is supposed to be an "at a glance" chart, it will be much more intuitive to see if a day's workout is above / below the ATL/CTL plots if they all were on the same scale.

    I see that this idea has been offered up before but declined in 2014. Since I no rationale was given, I thought I would bring it up again in the hope that with the all the changes you have made to TrainingPeaks it would be an easy enhancement.

    Great question. We’ve continued to ponder this. We use a different Y-axis scale to display TSS, ATL and CTL so that a user is better able to discern the (relatively) small changes in CTL which are key to tracking training performance. If the TSS scale was the same as ATL and CTL, the larger changes and thus scale of TSS would likely make it difficult to easily monitor changes in CTL.

  9. I've recently came to the conclusion that certain WKO data & charts do not take a custom crank length into account.

    It would be good if the crank length (accessible using the cranklength expression variable) could be sent along with the activity data from TP to WKO, and used for data & charts of that activity in WKO.

    I think this can be solved in a rather generic & future proof way.
    - Add an 'equipment' property to an activity when sending data from TP to WKO.

  11. I sometimes have a short sleep in the afternoon or after work. Or sometimes before an event, I might have short sleep. That makes my watch detect and send more than one sleep record to TP via HealthFit.
    I would like to see sleep hours by day, so I will know if I have enough sleep in this period (a week or a month...). Separating the record will make me confused if I don't have enough sleep in that day.

  13. You can define a target cadence for bike workouts in the workout builder. It should be possible to use the same field for target stroke range for Swim and Rower workouts and it could be exported also in the same field as the target cadence in the zwo-format. The number of strokes is the most important control figure for these type of workouts.

  16. For Peak Performances, if I set a new record that's greater than 25% more than my previous, I feel it should ask me to confirm if it's valid. Or at least some checks that I'm not running faster than Usain Bolt's 100m mph for a full mile, or swimming faster than Michael Phelps or biking faster than Lance Armstrong, etc... For those of us that live in a city and the buildings the GPS can be inaccurate and cause wildly incorrect times and an upper bound would be quite useful.

    I would suggest that the "Datails" column in ATP could have an option to appear on the calendar, as well as the "Limiters - Run" column; TSS planned... As this would help in the construction of the weeks with information from each athlete...

  19. Hi, it is possible to add the ability to select median heart rate rather than average? If there are enough outliers in the data, it will skew the results. As an example, I just completed an hour run. My heart rate settled in to a range of 130-132 for most of the run but since there was a ramp in the beginning and at the end, they were included and it skewed the average down. I have also seen this have a larger impact on treadmill runs where I had to stop momentarily to start another session since I exceeded…
