Zone Change auto email
When a coach goes in and updates an athletes zones, he/she can click a button and it will email the athletes the new zones.
I know that you can do auto notification, but I prefer to see the workout instead of simply auto notification / update. Different power devices can give wierd reading / not calibrated excetera. This way, I can go in make zone updates and click a button. Email goes to the athlete with their new zones, they can then use the email and update Garmin / Cycleops / PerfPro / ErgVideo whatever they would like. Keeps the…

Swim Types
For swim workouts, I would like the equipment option to be pool type (25m/50m/25y/OWS) rather than shoe. I could add these as shoe types, but then I would see them every time I enter a run as well. I don't see much use for shoe type under a swim anyway.
4 votesWe plan to solve some of this through tagging. This will be one of the first features we tackle once we finish bringing a few more features over from the classic app. Thanks for the suggestion.

Customize my intervals for the peak power chart.
I want to customize my intervals for the peak power chart. For example, the current display does not show peak power for 3 minute or 8 minute durations. Yet, in Training & Racing with a Power Meter by Allen and Coggan 3-8 minute intervals are described as the VO2Max zone. I'd like the same customization abilities in a new fatigue profile chart too.
2 votesWe do not have plans to allow custom durations for the Peaks calculation online. However, this is a feature of WKO which is what most of the examples in the TRPM book are based on. Fatigue profiling will a feature of WKO4.

trainerroad
Hi,
I would like to see better integration with TrainerRoad.
1) Ability to auto upload activity
2) Ability to import their training plansCheers
8 votesThe developers at Trainer Road plan to add an upload to TrainingPeaks functionality. Although we are not sure when that will happen. It would be good for you to reach out to them and make this request.

Best Bike Split - importing planned workouts
Just heard the news about the Best Bike Split purchase which I think is a really fantastic tool. I'm a premium subscriber to both TP and BBS and I'm looking forward to using both over the next year. I'm sure there will be a lot to work over the next few months regarding integration and there will be many requests. My request is just a simple request to ensure that we have a great tool for ensuring that we are able to upload our 'race plan' and 'completed' workout into the same activity in our training diaries and have the…

Custom duration/time selection
The ability to manually add specific durations for peak power like 15" or 3'.
2 votesThis is a feature of WKO and will probably not make its way into TP for some time. it is not out of question though.

Be able to set notification parameters to athlete's daily metrics so coaches can get notified when an athlete exceeds one e.g. MRHR

Allow a coach to set time in zones for workouts in exercise library
Details:
1. The idea is to set the amount of time spends in every training zone in the exercise- For example (for zones S1-S7):
We have 2:30h training which consists of:
- 20min preecool, S1-S2
- sets for LT: 5x5min S4, 3min breaks S1
- 20min cooling, S1
- power intevals: 3x1min S6, 5min breaks S1
- S2 to the end of the trainingAnd the coach can set (during presribing the training) time in every zone, in a separate window/section in an exercise view:
S1 = 40min
S2 = 82min
S3 = 0min
S4 = 25min
S5 = 0min…13 votes -
Confirmation popup that Drag and drop workout files (BETA feature) has been successful
Drag and drop can sometimes fail in TP BETA and no way of knowing until looking on the calendar. For one workout this is not a train wreck, but if you drag multiple files over and 1 or 2 of them fail, then its very time consuming and frustrating working out what has happened and putting it right.

Peak powers per lap
Is there a way to view the peak power(s) in a lap or retrospectively added section? I’d like to compare a series of efforts but by their 12 and 20 sec power rather than purely peak power. For example, if I were to highlight a 15 minute section, the peak powers (HRs etc) would be from that section only, not the whole workout.
4 votesThis is a forthcoming feature of WKO4, our desktop analysis application. It won’t be an option on the web.

Equipment
EQUIPMENT CONFIGURATION
1) Create a universal equipment type
2) Build groups of universal equipment into "configuration"
3) Allow for designation of configurations and additions/removals of pieces of equipment for an activityExample:
Equipment: road bike frame, training wheels, race wheels
Configuration A: road bike frame, training wheels
Configuration B: road bike frame, race wheelsSolves at least 5 separate equipment-related suggestions.

FTP / Weight graph (Power to weight ratio)
Based on the concept of thrust to weight ratio (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thrust-to-weight_ratio), it would be nice to have a graph that tracks:
FTP in seconds (power) / weight
I currently have to do this calculation myself and hide it in the 'waist' metric to display it as a graph.

trainingpeaks ConnectIQ App - existing device support (or lack thereof)
The new ConnectIQ app (released today) does not support the 920XT/Fenix3 and most other devices of that generation.
Given that the 935 and the Fenix5 devices have only been released in the very recent past...that means that your "new" app supports only a very small percentage of the real Garmin / TP user community. I understand the desire/need to announce support for the 935 on launch day....
...but, NOT providing support for the actual current userbase at the same time is VERY LAME.
3 votesThe app uses a few new features of the Connect IQ 2.2 SDK, which allows content to be downloaded, stored, and executed on the device. Unfortunately, the 920XT and Fenix 3 are both CIQ 1.x devices, so our app will not run on those devices.
Currently the supported devices are:
Edge 1000, 820, & 520
FR935
FR735XT – pending a firmware update
Fenix 5 – all variants
Fenix Chronos – pending a firmware updateIf you have a Fenix 3 or 920XT you can still get workouts from TrainingPeaks on to your device. I agree that it is a lot of steps, but you could do this in batch once or twice a week to save some time.

Auto Title Workouts Based on Location
TrainingPeaks should auto title non-planned workouts based on location similar to Garmin connect. Currently completed workouts are titled with "Untitled". This fills up my calendar and makes it hard to single out workouts. Instead each completed workout without a title should automatically be titled based on the workout's location data.

Sync data from Lifetrak Zoom
It would be fantastic to be able to sync data from the Lifetrack Zoom HRV tracker.
Here is the link to make it happen. https://lifetrakusa.com/affiliates/developers/
Thanks!
3 votesCurrently we leave it up to the HRV app developers to write data to TrainingPeaks. This is a more efficient solution and the data shows up in TrainingPeaks faster.

Possibility to choose how the tss is calculated in a part of the activity
it could nice to have the possibility to choose for some laps which kind of tss is calculated. for example, for long, steep and technical mountain bike downhill, the tss from power is very low because it's not possible to pedal a lot, but the heart is more than >160bpm (i rode some maxiavalanche, 20' of downhill marathon, 122w avg and 171bpm avg, 122w for me is 32% of ftp an 171bpm is near threshold)
The same for steep Uphill or downhill during trail running1 vote -

I have a suggestion (I'm sure I'm not the first) on your training calendar. When a task is completed as specified the box on the calendar is green. When not completed or partially completed I see a yellow box for bad boy or a red box for a very bad boy. What I don't understand is when I'm a good boy and do some extra work I still get bad boy or very bad boy colors. Have you considered changing the colors on the good boy side of things so when I look at my total calendar I know when…
1 voteWe are investigating using different colors for over vs. under however the colors are often used by both athletes and coaches to determine how accurately they’ve followed a prescribed training regime and thus knowing when you’ve overtrained is often just as important as when you’ve undertrained.

The blocks of exercises
For a coach working in the program will become more comfortable and convenient, if you have the ability to create blocks of exercises for the athlete, for example, the athlete has morning training and evening training, morning running and stretching, night Jogging, stretching and strength. And it would be great to have a clear division into blocks in the calendar for morning exercises and evening exercises. And the ability to create these blocks by different criteria and to assign them names in a free form.
